  1. Any chance you could get it recovered to and from a rolling road?
  2. "Think" is the keyword in the penultimate line of your post. Nothing can ever be said with any certainly until we have data. Sadly, we will not have the required data until you get your car on a dyno for a simple dyno run with some basic data logging. As for the numerous threads, I think all of your concerns stem from a singular issue. Starting numerous threads about the same issue will only serve to fuel confusion and diminish your chances of someone having a eureka moment and solving all your problems. When you post something to an old thread, it brings that thread to the top of the list of threads thus creating the same effect of posting a new thread...
  3. Really need the space so this needs to go asap. Final price drop before it goes on Ebay... These are almost £400 new!
  4. Thanks guys, I really appreciate your kind words!

    Thanks for the advice chaps!
  6. Just a friendly pointer, following your issue is becoming increasingly difficult as there are so many different threads covering the same thing... perhaps you could stick to one thread and just update that?
  7. I don't think EVs are a fad at all. In fact, I think they're here to stay. Will they remain in their current form, perhaps not. One thing is for sure though, that electric hum will be everywhere and that will drive me absolutely insane!
  8. Does this usually happen when the car has been left unlocked for a while prior to an attempt to start it is made? If so, have you tried putting the key in, turning it twice to accessory then hitting the unlock button on your key fob before attempting to start it? As for the other idle issue, does this usually happen on a cold start? Sounds like a cold start map issue that has been exacerbated by the cold weather...
  9. A very special thank you to Chris and the team over at Classic & Sports Car for the photoshoot involving my white Supra today. I genuinely cannot wait to read the finished article because I know it's going to be penned by one of the finest journalists in the business. Stay tuned, some really exciting things happening with both my Supras this year...

They seem to have dropped off the list in the 2019 test though? Is that because they simply weren't tested against the newer tyres or is it because the newer tyres are that much better than the old ones? Check this out... out of the top 3, only the Conti is available in stock size.

Thanks chap. Do you happen to know the difference between PS4 and PS4S tyres? Information online is rather scarce... could it just be marketing? Tread pattern looks very similar, if not identical from the pictures I've seen. The other noteworthy tyre available in this size appears to be the new Continental Sport Contact 6, has anyone had any experience with this tyre?

Thank you for the link. I am also hoping to get the input of our fellow members who have tried some of these tyres on their actual cars.

Sadly, my tyre of choice, namely Michelin Pilot Sport 4s, is not available in the stock Supra size... the tyres that I used to buy, way back when I had my first few Supras, namely Vredestein Sessantas, are no longer produced, which leads me on to my query; which tyre would you recommend from the limited pool of current options?
  15. When owners of an asset are publicly observed voicing disapproval over the appreciation of their own assets, how do you think that would make an outsider feel, perhaps a first time buyer? I'm by no stretch of the imagination stating that all cars will be worth top money. That is never the case with such tangible assets. As although they may have all been created equal, it is likely that no two are still identical. What I am stating is however, the bottom line is also creeping up.

Oh my, well this will be interesting.
  17. The thing is though, in my eyes, the R34 GTR is not a spectacularly special car, there's nothing that significantly sets it apart from its previous iterations. Some would say, it's little more than a poor man's Porsche. I don't like its design and its engine and drive train is inferior to the 2JZ and its drive train. So although I am not placed to argue its value, I cannot justify the disparity between it and the Supra. Whilst you are correct in saying that 20-30 members though, perhaps more notably, owners, publicly criticising the hike in value, of an asset that they themselves own, will not hurt the market in the long run. This however, will affect the market in the short term by serving to cause hesitation and uncertainty.

    I have now, clearly...
  19. What gave the GTR and the NSX that reputation? It certainly wasn't due to members of their respective owners clubs consistently shooting down the for sale ads, that's for sure!
  20. There have been a couple go on here for £600. Even one for sub £500! At £800 odd though, I'd rather buy a brand new one!
