  1. True, but it is just a rebadged Lexus GS after all...
  2. Toyota/Lexus Aristo is a saloon car with the VVTi 2JZ-GTE engine.
  3. I think you'll find that once that badge is removed, your driving dynamics will improve even further!
  4. Can't you just fit a VVTi head to an NA bottom end and wire it up to a standalone ECU?
  5. It's a MKIV TOYOTA SUPRA, wear that badge with pride!
  6. I wonder if Getrag still supports the GTR variant of the box and if so, whether any of its components are interchangeable with the V160/1?
  7. These are available at Whifbitz for the same price, delivered.
  8. Too dark to be a 6NO. I have a 6NO and it's a lot lighter by contrast. Unless the image was under exposed?
  9. I think it is absolutely up to us to keep waving the flag in order to maintain or increase interest levels in the UK market. However, this will have no bearing on interest from abroad. The eventuality I dread the most is one where all the decent examples have been exported to the US, Europe, UAE and ironically, back to Japan, and we end up with all the unwanted rust buckets.
  10. What a sad eventuality that would be... don't worry chaps, I'll hang on to my white one. By then, it'll be 1 of 1 in the UK!
  11. In any event and if the basic economics of supply and demand is applied, this increased demand should continue to push the value of RHD Supras up.
  12. If you have a look at the recent videos on YouTube, it would appear that the US market is warming to RHD Supras... they consider them bargains compared to what the LHD Supras are fetching.
  13. I've taken a deposit on item 1 which includes the compartment.
  14. Drop me a PM with your address bud.
  15. It is pretty heavy to be fair, could you arrange a courier perhaps? I'm not taking much for the battery, you may as well have it and keep it as spare!
  16. A few bits have just come off my single turbo Supra and are now up for sale; 1. Metal battery relocation box with "Supra" logo. Comes complete with a Exide Excell EB456 battery, mounting bracket and pre-drilled boot storage compartment - £50 collected due to weight - sold 2. Stock spare wheel with fastener, this appears to have never been used - £30 collected from SRD due to weight 3. Electric radiator fan, wiring and mounting cooling plate - £50 collected or delivered, subject to postage costs - sold
  17. Reis was indeed a good shout. Cheapest quote I had by an absolute country mile!
  18. Taken from wikipedia: "The butterfly effect is an idea that is more commonly used in chaos theory. It shows that a small change can make much bigger changes happen; that one small incident can have a big impact in the future. (...) The term butterfly effect comes from an analogy where a butterfly flaps its wings in Chicago and a tornado occurs in Tokyo". Some fun times ahead of us that's for sure. But what is one to expect from a nanny state?
  19. If there is no demand, I think the price is likely to fall, if anything.
  20. As you alluded to earlier, if no one had ICE vehicles and the government continued to incentivise EVs with TAX breaks, where will they get their money? I just don't think the government's purse can afford to take that sort of hit. So either, or a combination of, the following two things will happen; the government will slowly start introducing taxes on EVs and/or increase the taxes on ICE vehicles. The latter being the more "eco friendly" of the two and will likely be the government's short term go-to solution. This will inevitably have the effect of pushing ICE vehicles outside the budgets of some people and set the butterfly effect in motion.
