Sorry, I didn't realise the OP is a NHS worker and his Supra is his only mode of transport.
  2. Contact Keron bud, he had a few on the shelf the last time I checked...
  3. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. But, c'est la vie and if the worst does happen, drop me a PM and I will put you in touch with some colleagues who may be able to assist.
  4. People can volunteer and help the most vulnerable from the comfort of their own home.
  5. If that happens, you may have quite meritorious claims against your (former) employer for unfair dismissal and/or disability discrimination. In saying this, I adopt all you have mentioned as fact and medically demonstrable, of course.

I'm seriously considering declaring both of mine SORN... Can't drive them, shouldn't drive them and it probably won't be safe to drive them soon anyway.

Yay, my white Supra gets a 6 month extension...But I'm unlikely going to be able to drive it during that period anyway...

Stay home unless you want to be intubated by a gynaecologist.

Agree 100%, it is utterly appalling. People seem to think they're infallible and invincible, and whilst that may be true for 99% of the population, it's the 1% who will end up paying the ultimate price. Unfortunately, due to our society's inherent holier than thou attitude and over inflated sense of self importance, we and our loved ones are being condemned to a fate far worse than Italy's. The statistics are, frankly, both damning and depressing.

I don't actually consider an MOT garage as a "critical service" provider, especially where other alternative means of transport exist, for the benefit of essential workers and those unable to work from home. Notwithstanding, I wouldn't deem a trip to an MOT garage as covered under the 4 strict exemptions to the 'lock down'.
  13. You want to fit a Qashqai mirror to your Supra?!
  14. At least it will work, come colour coded and with a warranty. Always worth contacting Paul at TCB as well...

Glad your car passed its MOT though I am disappointed the MOT centre was open in the first place.
  17. The new tests are allegedly due to land in the UK in a matter of days or weeks according to the government, most likely the latter. I have not had the time to watch the entire address, did Mr Hancock confirm how these volunteers are expected to sign up, whether these individuals will be tested to prevent further spreading and what sort of protective equipment will they be afforded?
  18. I doubt it will have any significant affect. Is it on aftermarket suspension or OEM?
  19. Some Japanese merchants are still advertising these as 'in stock'.
  20. I actually would not mind doing that, provided there are measures put in place to protect me and my family from nosocomial infections, of course... The question is; where would I even start? Who would I contact?
  21. That's the point. You will get no drive at all with a manual ECU in an auto car. This does not appear to be the case here.
  22. An antigen test will likely become available in the UK at some point in the next 2 weeks. This test will essentially indicate whether an individual has already been exposed to the virus, as opposed to solely identifying current infection. Individuals with adequate antigen levels are more likely to be immune to the virus, or are unlikely to become severely affected by it if re-infected. With that in mind, I intend to take said antigen test and if I appear to be immune to the virus, I would like to volunteer to help those in isolation who fall in the high risk categories. Does anyone have any experience volunteering or is anyone else interested in volunteering?
