It does look slightly darker than the usual 'Supra red', but that's really not a bad thing at all... I personally prefer a darker/deeper red.

Is it another underpowered offering made in collaboration with a German manufacturer?

How did you know it got too hot? How did it affect the car? There are members on the forum who use their cars on the track competitively and perhaps more often than you do, yet despite this, they don't use a power steering cooler. So I'm not quite sure what added benefit this would bring over the standard set up. Perhaps a brake fluid cooler would make more sense?
