  1. I think the admins are tinkering with the site...
  2. No, Lee puts a new OEM pump in when he does his builds. Aftermarket oil pumps are neither necessary nor proven like the OEM pump. You're trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist bud. Stick with the Toyota pump, tried and tested for decades.
  3. Hello, welcome and good luck with your search!
  4. Real Street along with various other high profile engine builders have been running 1000+whp 2JZs for many years on the standard Toyota oil pump with no issues whatsoever.
  5. Ooo, looking forward to it! Why don't you start a new thread bud?
  6. What is it with the recent thread resurrections? Zombieland galore!
  7. Karl, I'd personally get rid of the Titan oil pump and just get a new Toyota pump from TCB.
  8. I agree, if I had to choose between Titan caps and Real Street caps, I'd go for the Real Streets without a doubt.

Just make sure he's aware and consenting to your video!
  10. Just to plagiarise an excerpt of the response on the US Supra forum; Main cap bracing has been done since the 60s with incredible rates of success. Cosworth used to do this in the early turbo charged F1 days, and as we know, F1 engines tend to live a hard life. The brace kit works by adding rigidity and strength to the main cap, as you would expect from billet mains, but without the need to machine the block. I am sure your local engine builder can tell you about at least one destroyed block that was sent to a machine shop in order to fit a set of magnificent billet mains only to be returned with imperfections and defects which ultimately rendered the block; a heap of scrap metal. Sadly, whilst our engine builders are up to par with their American counterparts, our machine shops are no where near as good. This brace kit does not save you any money really, but it might just save your block from being ruined by an inexperienced machine shop.
  11. I don't think anyone stocks them on the shelf in the UK. It's worth contacting whoever you decide to go with first to ensure that they will fit and that no machining will be required.
  12. I don't think it is in any way sinister nor has it got anything to do with a reluctance to support other engine builders. I suspect that it is much rather a desire to preserve his proprietary designs that he, and he alone, had to invest money into in order to design and manufacture the kit that he uses on his big power builds.
  13. Perhaps you should consider having Lee build your engine then? Ha, just noticed what you done there...
  14. Also bear in mind that you will need to machine your block to fit these. The brace kit from SRD is a far safer option in the UK, imo.
  15. Those are definitely pre-facelift dials...
  16. If whoever contacts them to arrange this group buy, could ask if they can fabricate the Tiptronic dials, that would be great!
  17. NAs are not full fat...
  18. Is there a difference between the abs systems, from a functional perspective?
  19. Full fat facelifts came with VVTI heads...
  20. I doubt they will be glass due to the new EU regulations.
  21. The charge cooler on my old E55 used to get so hot after a couple of pulls, to the extent that the ECU used to pull all the timing and I'd lose circa 50% of the power. Great tech that!
  22. Grip is clearly overrated!
