  2. I'd take fuel in jerry cans and put enough in for each run. No point accelerating and braking an extra 40 odd kilos if you dont need to, and the more weight you can take off, the better it will be for brakes and tyres.
  3. All well with me, car went a couple of years ago but still lurk in the shadows here. Glad to see you back
  4. Is that because he kicked a fella in the crowd or because he left Leeds?
  5. The place is full of players who have no idea of the club's history. They are only there because they are not good enough for Milan, Madrid and Barcelona, and are happy to take top dollar over here. Same can be said for the manager. Along with Chelsea, if the money runs out, these people will be nowhere to be seen. That said, as a West Ham season ticket holder when Tevez was there, I have nothing but admiration for the man
  6. Vettel - 24 Webber - 35 Button - 31 Alonso - 30 Massa - 30 Maybe a theme here. Hamilton only 26. But after 13 years of being provided with the best equipment and support from McLaren, seems to be in some sort of mental freefall, and having never been in this situation before, has no idea how to respond.
  7. All Red Bull's work will be focused on Vettel and developing a title winning car for him next year. Ferrari will be doing the same for Alonso. Webber and Massa just have to accept their status in their teams, and for them it is better to drive as a no.2 in a top team than no.1 at somewhere like Williams or Renault. Mercedes still appear to be favouring Schumacher, which is certainly handicapping Rosberg as he has been the better performer, and should be the future of the team. McLaren have two drivers with driving styles that are poles apart, the aggressive way of Hamilton, and the super smooth method of Button. The problem then is that the design and development becomes a compromise as they try to create a car that is competitive and gives confidence to both drivers. If they want to go for the championship next year, it is time to put all the eggs in one basket and concentrate on the guy who is performing. Would be tough on Hamilton, for all his talent, but after this year it would be the right decision if the team are serious about taking on Red Bull in 2012.
  8. Best to leave the centre nut on a couple of threads whilst doing the rocking and pulling in case the wheel suddenly comes off and hits you in the face
  9. Don't know much about the lass, but she does seem a cut above some of the previous tramps selected as royal brides - Camilla, Ferguson and the German one from Kent spring immediately to mind.
  10. Possibly because Eddie Jordan is Irish, not British?

    Virgin Supras

Danny it was a uk head unit, I changed it myself. . The radio was fine Hope you still have it !
  12. Probably heading for the Leuchars Air Show (unlike most people trying to get there by car!)
  13. While not condoning the actions of the clownstabulary, if the guy was driving the car drunk, he should have it confiscated anyway IMO.
  14. Definately. It's just 3 journalists pretending to be motor engineering experts.
  15. Because these people are cheats and would be taking bungs and fixing games whether betting is legal or not. All too easy to blame outside influences - the real problem here is the individuals involved.
  16. Nope. Dont forget, apart from running two F1 teams, Red Bull support drivers in many of the junior categories like GP2, Euro F3, and National F3 championships. The Red Bull driver programme was set up to produce an F1 champion similar to the way that McLaren supported and paid for all Lewis Hamilton's racing since he was about 12 years old. The difference is that Red Bull recruited and disgarded many drivers along the way and the one who has come to the top of the pile is Sebastian Vettel. Webber is different, he is not Red Bull' he is Renault. He was managed by Briatore and got the Red Bull drive as part of the deal for Renault to supply engines to Red Bull F1. The reason his contract was extended is that Red Bull want to continue with the Renault engines. He's right to mistrust the Team. The Red Bull hierachy want one of their drivers to come out on top. I think he is enjoying the battle
  17. You can still lay England for the World Cup on Betfair at 9.6 (17/2). It's the bet of the century, and we're only 10 years in
  18. Try Showtrax. They are based up near Bedford.
  19. The cynic in me suggests that the component that failed was a new design that was being tested before it was fitted to a Red Bull car, who did have wheel / upright issues in both Australia and Malaysia.
  20. Yep - best weighted horse in the race. Take it each way around 14/1 with any firm who pay the first 5 places 1/4 odds - like paddy power
  21. Gordon F

    Horse s*^t

I agree. That, together with diesel and the stock traction control system must be the most common causes of Supra total losses in this land.
