What the hell!!! Have some more pics... http://community.webshots.com/album/137828584rljpHA Mine.
-
I do have an Apexi fitted and I do have my camera to hand. It is on an NA tho so let us know if u want me to get some pics...
-
Yeah I'm there Weds-Mon as well. Not sure on campsite. (forgotten what its called) I'm up for a mini meet:D
-
Sorry I could have sworn that I wrote NA on the post but perhaps I'm confusing it with the post about induction kits... Mods were induction kit and exhaust. The wheel figures were something like 157bhp so there was something not quite right on the rollers. Am trying to work out the actual wheel figures for the percentage loss. I might just give up tho'
-
Have an Apexi induction kit on mine. I've heard louder but its ok. Coupled it with a custom pipe and it ran 243bhp at the fly last Saturday.
-
Actually just did a power run on Saturday with my NA. Erm, was 243bhp at fly (forget the wheel figure as the road was seriously over compensating) Thats with Apexi induction kit and custom pipe.

Pah! When I saw in me email I'd had a reply I rushed here thinking I'd have the answer to my problems!!! http://members.lycos.co.uk/goldieno1/avatars/smilies2/00000694.gif Ah well.... Yes the above info in last post is correct! Forgot to mention car is a 1993.
-
Wondering if anybody had any ideas on this one. I have developed quite a bad misfire between 2500rpm and 3100rpm (yes its that exact) At 3100rpm the engine comes on songs again and u get quite a burst of speed. Only happens on part throttle. Full throttle doesn't do it at all. (yes, I'd love to drive full throttle all the time but the local plod might have something to say about it) When its cold the problem is worse. Car is a grey NA. So far have changed plugs/leads/dizzy cap and arm. Not made a slight bit of difference. Any help guidance would really be appreciated cos I'm a bit stuck. Somebody did mention about a 'top dead centre sensor' but didn't know anymore than that.

5 miles from me so I'll be there Daz! (as per normal)
-
Thanks for that SupraGal. I wanted to find out who/where mounted the Apexi unit (no. not in that sense:eek: ) Had a similar idea and that looked very very tidy...
-
Had me stilts on. Nah, just a bit of monkeying around on the wall outside (by the exit gates) I forgot to apologise to all those I was mean't to meet at Shell Junc 6. Caught up in all that traffic I figured I must have missed ya so went straight to the Grasshopper.
-
Yeah was good apart from the shit arse traffic!!! Didn't really get to chat with many people. http://members.lycos.co.uk/goldieno1/avatars/scareboo.gif Maybe next time... http://homepage.ntlworld.com/mattriddles/index.html/Pictures/Supra%20Meet/DSC00511a.jpg Cheers all. BTW. Who owns L***BAT?
-
I can confirm I'll be there. Meet at Junc 6 Shell Garage 12:40. Heres to a good day!
-
Good choice of site. I know the owner Stephen Grant. Its about the only BBS I'd reccomend!
-
All sounds good Faye. I'll post up Friday night whether I'll be able to make it just in case you end up hanging around waiting for me!!! LMAO
-
Ah thats handy then... Come with an empty wallet. The stomach will have to wait! And my god what a face. http://www.blackmaxpc.com/avatarsmiles/smiles/anon.gif Are you quite prepared? As for meeting up. I'll either come up the A22 or A23 so if I remember rightly Junction six is spot on. What do ya do? Just hang around on the hard shoulder like a TVR owner??? from all the TVR owners!!!
-

Might be worth buying shares in batterys this week! I've just had to buy a new one.

Why thanks Steve! (in fact thanks everybody) As for other mods, I haven't been able to get the car onto a ramp so far to make certain but here are a few that I can see. Greddy Front lip spoiler ARP Rear aluminium spoiler Brake master cylinder housing fully braced Braided Brake lines all round 18" Volks Racing LE37a rims wrapped in (265/35 rear, 235/35 front) Bridgestone Potenza rubber Fetsport front strut brace Bilstein shocks all round Lowered (but unknown height) Apexi induction kit Greddy heat monitoring kit (gauge mounted in Greddy 'A' Pillar pod) Uprated earth wiring throughout engine bay Straight thru' custom exhaust ending in 5" rear pipe. Heat wrapped exhaust manifold. (unable to quite see what exactly has been done with it but not sure if its also been uprated) Dynamatted to within an inch of its life. As for turbos. I'll go hide in the corner. Its got none. It was a case of I wanted a manual box and was either a very good NA manual or a stacked TT manual. (and I really didn't fancy another auto) Took it on as I normally modify engine rather than styling, so its a bit of a change for me. Anyhow, I might just do something with the engine given time!!! Couple more pics for ya! http://members.lycos.co.uk/goldieno1/Supra/Supra%20017.jpg http://members.lycos.co.uk/goldieno1/Supra/Supra%20031.jpg http://members.lycos.co.uk/goldieno1/Supra/Supra%20032.jpg Was also considering taking off the rear aerodeck at the top of the rear window. I heard that it can be an arse to get rid of but for me the lines of the car (supras in general) looks far better without it... Thoughts?
-
Y'know, your the first person to agree with me on that one!!! So many people have told me to keep it on so its on there for this time at least. Although it may well fall off soon:sly: Thanks for the positive comments as well guys. Look forward to hooking up with some of you come the new season...

Boys and girls. Bought my Supra at the start of the month and been trying to find out a little more on its spec. As per usual, Jap auction held very little info. I just cannot work out what the front spoiler is to be honest. (and I'm guessing on the side skirts as well:D ) I reckon its a mix and match kit and it seems to all be made from Glass fibre. Any help would be great!!! http://members.lycos.co.uk/goldieno1/Supra/Supra%20010.jpg http://members.lycos.co.uk/goldieno1/Supra/Supra%20028.jpg http://members.lycos.co.uk/goldieno1/Supra/Supra%20031.jpg http://members.lycos.co.uk/goldieno1/Supra/Supra%20037.jpg

Thanks for all that guys... Helped a lot. Spent a few hours down at the Supra Centre in Newchapel (surrey) and John down there must be one of the most helpful people on the planet!!! Took a variety of models out excluding an NA. Have to say I was quite suprised to find that I prefered the Auto (hey, not starting another auto/manual post here am I???) I was aiming to get away from the auto (Current car is auto) but looks as if its fave at the moment. Great performance from both cars so it was all about the driving experience. Soon as I've driven this NA thats arriving in country next couple of weeks I'll let u know. But I do know one thing. I'll be a Supra owner within weeks. At the moment thats my thinking completly, but ain't deciding till I got a taster of how the two compare. And man, I doooo love it when the second turbo spins up!!!
