  1. Agree with Hamilton, defo dry solders on PCB board in the heater control unit. Happened to me, soldered the culprits and now working fine. Easy to do. Just use a very fine soldering iron tip.
  2. Hi Further to my original post about this issue, I forgot to add that whilst changing the battery I accidently managed to touch the spanner from the positive battery terminal onto a bit of the engine as the spanned slipped and there was a spark but nothing smelt like burning. Since then my dipped headlights don't work. The flash/full beam only works if I pull the stalk towards me as if to thank someone. The flash/full beam doesn't work if I push the stalk away from me. Also the headlamp/washers have stopped working. The rear fogs have stopped working. I have checked all the bulbs and every fuse and relay and swapped with new ones three times and all seem fine. The blue light in the dash lights up during flash/full beam. Any help will be greatly appreciated as I cant drive the car in the evenings and will be a MOT failure! Thanks.
  3. Yes tried with dipped beam switched on and problem persists.
  4. Good morning Grateful for advice. My headlights flash work when the stalk is pulled towards me as a quick flash but doesnt work when pushed away so high flash high beam stays on. All bulbs fine and no loose connection and fuses fine. Any advice, tuition etc will be very gratefully received. Thanks

    OEM Exhaust

Hi Looking for OEM exhaust for UK Spec TT auto. Anyone have one in good condition or know who has? Thanks again Chat
  6. OEM alternators not available as far I recall. I got mine from TCB Performance Parts, really helpful chap Paul Pridham.
  7. Yep agree looks like alternator. Same happened to me, left me stranded near Perth on A5. Changed alternator and all tickety boo now.
  8. Hi, Looking for whole cluster gauge for my 1994 UK auto TT. Does anyone have one or know where I could possibly get one? Cheers in advance.
  9. Sorry typo - I meant “sell” in good condition. Thanks again.
  10. Hi All, I am looking for 4 OEM 17inch alloy wheels and would be very grateful if anyone has to seek or know where I could possibly get them form? Thanks. I couldn’t post this in the Parts wanted section for some reason it wouldn’t let me?

    Exhaust

Hi all, Is there a difference between UK spec TT and Jspec TT and N/A catback exhausts? Are they interchangeable? Thanks
  14. Thanks but doesn't show individual bulbs for the gear selectors L 2 D N R P. All I can see are the bulb holders for the dials and indicators. Presume the bulbs for the gear indicators are inside the rev counter housing??
  15. Thanks Hamilton. Do you have link where it shows how to do. Checked with local Toyota dealer and was told the lights are built into the Rev counter dial and need to change whole unit?
  16. Hello everyone The drive "D" gear selector display in the rev counter dial stopped lighting up. All the other "L" "2" "R" "N" "R" are all working fine. Any ideas why and if fixable? Thanks in advance
  17. Hi Does anyone know of a good supra specialist near where I live in Gravesend, Kent? Cheer.
  18. Try Danny Custom Paint in Meopham. He is brilliant. - - - Updated - - - Try Danny Custom Paint in Meopham. He is brilliant.
  19. Hi I am having same issue. Did you get to the root of the problem?
  20. Hi Is speaker loom etc still available? Cheers
  21. Yes... guess it's bad luck. I did overfill but just marginally above top of dip stick mark. Thanks for advice.... will have a look at the rest of the seals.
  22. Yes seals can go anytime. These engines were developed nearly 30 years ago without the synthetic oils of today. Going to stick to semi synthetic and same brand have been using without issues from now on.
  23. Thought share my calamity........on advice from a supra veteran, used fully synthetic oil in my N/A JDM 1993 stock car and the rear engine seal leaking.......oil everywhere. Learnt that whilst fully synthetic oil great for lubrication, it ends up cleaning the carbon deposits around the seal hence the leak. Cost lot time and money and effort for that little poxy oil change!!! So beware...... unless you knew this already. Oh well c'est la vie... pardon my French!
  24. I have front 235/40/18 and rear 255/40/18 tyres on a N/A aerotop with 8 inch front and 9 inch rear wheels. What should the pressures be set at? Manual that came with car says 2.5bar on stock 17in wheels. Thanks
  25. I have JPA alloys 18x9 (5x114.3) ET35 (rear) and 18x8 (5x114.3) ET35 (front) with conical bolts. The "ijit" at the garage used a torque gun to tighten the bolts.............which I thought wasnt right but he said it would be fine......I am not convinced!! Should I hand tighten OR use a proper Torque wrench?......Not to beat the guy with but for the wheels!!! If torque wrench what should the setting be? Cheers.
