Always fraught to ask others what price they want to tell you they got for their car. Few will ever venture 'i got way less than what i wanted'.. And yet the probability of that happening is much higher than the situation of 'I got far more than I wanted'. Perhaps a good indicator is the fact that some better specced gz models at the same price don't seem to be selling whilst that fairly schmick gz Aero top for sale at a dealership for several months now can't sell and it's as low as 24k. I've bought over 200 jdm cars since the late 90s. Ive seen market up and downs many times over. Nobody need believe me that the jdm market was in a bubble and that has now burst in a massive way... But that is surely the case. Broadly speaking, Supras were the biggest bubble, however r34 gtr vspecs specifically have gone insane. Prices arent unravelling yet... They're simply stalling. Eventually people will realise they've made ill timed real estate purchases, or will lose their jobs, or much of their business income, and it will all head backwards. Americans put a fire under gtr and supra prices.... But that will reverse as it did in 2007 to 2009, 1998 to 2002, etc

What about a was silver now red jdm gz aerotop register? I'll bet you are 1 of 1 on your street to have this spec... Truly unique

Or restore it to its original price and sell it to someone who wont flip it, and will cherish it and its value oriented pricing....

Worth doing to also confirm the specs.... Eg what colour was it pre pearl red?

From what I recall early Supras didn't have a VIN only a chassis number. for instance in Australia we preface the early Supra chassis with a 6 character reference 6u9000 to create a proxy vin. Seems the uk did the same. If you pop the chassis into a supra chassis decoder it should tell you all you need to know. A simple method but not a universal rule is the level of equipment on gz vs sz mocks... Airbag wheel, cruise control, etc. Not uniform, but generally sz owners wont fork out for a 94 airbag wheel when modern replacements are cheaper and better

I presume you have seen the RZ 6spd cat b on coparts website? Big single turbo, interior A1... Looks to be a good price at present for all the fruit

Aaarrrgghhh.... Just missed out on this 94 gz tt aero. Looked to be a ripper... I'm thinking i should have been prepared to pay more than the 15k hammer price.... Looks to have been a cracker. Someone got a good deal.

I'm currently in the market for a GZ TT aerotop. To give a better indication of what I am looking for; 1. Must be a genuine GZ per delivery (and as per build plate). No SZ aeros with NA-T or 2JZ-GTE transplant please 2. No rust! I know this may be seem to be asking a bit....but I'd like to keep any rust down to the barest minimum surface corrosion 3. Ideally as stock as possible (right down to kits, wheels, stereo, exhaust, etc) - but if it is heavily modified so be it 4. I can live with Cat C or D if I have to - would rather not 5. Ideally in factory colour 6. Ideally with all electrics and options working smoothly Seller must be willing to allow a thorough mechanical inspection of the car. Ideally someone who already has sufficient details of the car on file (receipts, history, photos, etc) to save me asking. On the off chance anyone's garage also has a Rev 3 MR2 turbo, Porsche 928 GT or Fezza 456 6spd (94-95 model only) - I'm happy to help clear them out too.

Hi all, hope this is not something of a boring thread starter...but I am curious to know what tricks of ingenuity members have performed or witnessed in terms of tech upgrades for the Supra? Probably more in the realm of electromechanical, rather than say...carbon wheels. Obviously there is ICE stuff...so that is fine, but what about things like; * Retrofitting F1 paddles to an old automatic shift (is it even doable?) * Push button start * Airbag sports steering wheels * Push button hand brake (I know...that's just getting carried away now) any slightly better ideas than this silly list? I have always *dreamed* of an automated mechanism for the targa roof, but it simply does not appear to be viable (as opposed to feasible...I am sure a lorry of money might fix it, but there seems no easy, intuitive way)

Hi there Peter, My bad - sorry. Specifically, I am seeking GZ aero, not GZ hardtop. I presume yours is hardtop? What is it with all these GZ Supras in Wales? ANd what is it with all these aerotops in the UK....surely there'd be about 4 days were it is actually comfortable + enjoyable to use it? As opposed to - say - Queensland, Australia, where there would be about 330 days a year where it can be used!
