  1. Chris, You are a Supra hero, Expect a phonecall from me Soon!!!
  2. £104 for the pair? Really? My local parts bloke said 125each plus vat! Woohoo!!! My Supe is running again.....almost! Thanks Justin!! I owe you a few Wets mate:) :)
  3. Thanks for the replies guys, Ill get on to those companies asap
  4. Supragal and gents, Before i get hassled to "use the search button" I have for the last hour to no avail. Basically I've cracked one of my rear discs and I need another std one. This happened because the caliper got all sticky, smoked the pad on a 200mile journey and the heat generated by the metal to metal contact (that hot I couldn't touch the wheel) cracked the disc.I think! I ve checked with my local parts guru who gets my pads etc and his supplier hasn't got any in the uk and they'll be few months before the slow boat rocks up from Japan. My local Toyota Garage weren't intersted and now I haven't got a Supe I can drive. So does anyone know where can I get one or am I condemned to driving my missus Gay Apricot Golf?
  5. mmmmmm.....Supercharger I heard you were scared to go for it!
  6. I'm afraid I'll have to agree. You'd be better off buying a TT than the engine transplant. However Suprastore are doing the single turbo conversion for the NA for $5000 which is £2988 at todays rate. And it comes with an FMIC too! http://www.suprastore.com/sinturconkit.html
  7. Thanks far. Thats an oldish pic.I've eventually got my C1 bumper fitted. It just wants some more power to match its looks.
  8. This pic shows that they aren't too bad a fit.My girlfriend and myself fitted them. Its no major hassle really
  9. Ive had three skirts from Paul Whiffin(due to a kerb incident) and two of those were really good quality. However the other one was way off. There was a two inch gap between the top off the air intake and the body, which required a bit of fibreglass construction work, but they look good now.
  10. Andy G, My insurance is almost due for renewal. Who are you insured with?
  11. Thanks guys, there's no Warning lamp on the dash.i'm going out of my mind.I think it's time for Toyota to get their diagnostic gear out.I really haven't got a clue what it can be? Failing that, maybe is time to go for a TT
  12. I'm currently running an NA auto which i've owned for 2years and i love her to bits.(more than my girlfriend she'd tell you)I went for the NA for insurance reasons cos i'm a young 'un but its by no means a slow car.Its pretty much the same as what your looking at, 18" rims body kit,HKS pipe etc. and its a real headturner. Theres also a few turbo kits available in the state for the NA, although im unaware of anyone in the uk converting one but your looking at around $5000 for 400bhp which isnt bad at all. But as most have said.it really depends on what you want the car for.If you want looks alone, the NA will be your car.
  13. It doesn't have any sensors fitted and the beeping is constant as soon as the key is turned, when driving and stationary
  14. Thanks guys but still no luck. Its a diffferent noise to the reversing signal,it appears to be coming from the black box behind the dash, directly behind where the heater control is.Does anyone know what this box is?
  15. Has anyone experienced a strange bleeping noise coming from behind the centre console? It started off with one beep in a blue moon but now its one per second????? I thought it was my Alpine head unit which was fitted 12months ago but after removing that and the heater control unit it was still occuring.it happens when the key is turned to accessory and when engine is on too. I just have to have to stereo on loud at the mo!!!!
