  1. Yaris Wheel / air bag: I guess most modern toyota hava simular theme
  2. The steering wheel on my 98 supra, and the one on my girlfriends Yaris are almost excatly the same shape, The steering wheel is exactly the same. It would be nice to put a new looking air bag/centre cover on the supra.
  3. Wooo hoooo I'm going to pod but...... not taking the supra booooooooo My mate is going up in his Subaru Legacy, twin turbo E-tune. That all sounds good. (hand built engine apparently). So if anyone see's a white estate (looks a bit like ecto 1) going very fast on the way up, we'll race you! And i'll see you all there:thumbs:
  4. I soooooo want to go..... But i just can't afford all that petrol money again. I'll just have to look forward to the video, pictures and magazine article. Or.. Just have to wait untill the next meet thats close to me, or until i get more money:conf: Need more overtime to feed my optimax habbit.

Ok i know this might not be the right place to post this but, all this talk about power has got me intrested. So does anyone know where i can get my car put on a dyno.... near Bournemouth. I know theres lots of chances to go and do them, at shows and group dyno days, but i can't afford the £60 fuel bill then the £50 dyno bill. So if anyone knows of a rolling road near Bournemouth. Then i can settle the how much power does a stock VVTi have.
  6. I'm going to try and go as well (money permitting) But i will also be staying up in london, If i do go.

If you look here it tells you about the facelift version http://mkiv.supras.org.nz/japan/mechanism.html And as usuall it's rated at 280 hp More torque i think??
  8. Yep yep yep, mine were more worn on the inner edges when i got them replaced so guess it's normal. although it wasn't that much more than the rest of the tyre at the end of their life, so if excessive when down to the wear indicator seek advice from a doctor.
  9. My girlfreiend says she likes nnnaaaannasaaaaa.......... not sure if it's cos of the colour????? Why does matt like it???
  10. BTW like the yellow hew of ya avtur (has someone already comented on it)
  11. you want this on the front of your car
  12. i could do a class Boeing 737 install if you want. You would be able to see into next week with them, but you might have to upgrade the alternator, to a 3 phase 115V 60KVA jobbie apart form thaty i would be easy. :D
  13. oh i forgot about the plastic headlights. We have aeroplanes melting there light covers, cos they changed to plastic covers, because the glass ones break easily when birds get in the way:innocent: so need to be watched . Mind you they are like, i dont know how many thousand watts. :flame Dev :flame Dev
  14. I fitted some blue lamps to my j-spec, i had to file them down to fit but, the part number of the lamps, was the same as the one on the headlamp. Anyone know why?? like you say white but not as bright. I got them from an on line company and got free side lights also blue so no extra cost So then had to order the main beams to match, and they sent free fogs to match good deal??
  15. you should try waveing the old trading standards wand threat at the dealer. I know it won't help you now. But might get a better result. Plus you should name and shame, it wont help but it'll make you feel better. Just take spare water everwhere with you, and look at the rad cap as Terry suggests my car did this when i first got it. The dealer over filled the water, so expansion tank full it dumped a little water out of the cap. I've never had any over heating, or further water loss. I think the turbos are water cooled so it's quite important! and that barseal sh!t wont be good for them.
  16. If you've only driven 150 miles, surely it will be upto the garage you bought it from, to repair it??
  17. Working with aircraft i know that the piston aircraft fuel is very good if mixed with normal fuel (for all the addivitives (sp)) not that i would ever do that, just might know someone that has shame i only work on jets now only good for feeding diesels but it is free, and doesn't have that red colour that farmers have in there sruff
  18. Thanks Jive, looks like some one listens to you. Cant wait till i get a chance to do it all again. 12hrs of driving and lots of optimax later a great day! and i didn't get lost on the way home
  19. I think it should be Supra's only for maximum impact. If you visit Bournemouth there’s loads of good pubs, and plenty of parking close to the seafront for good photo ops. Only trouble is the local nova kids. I’m sure they will all be amazed at all the proper cars on show though
  20. I'm intrested, and as you cant tell a bit new to this. I'm from Bournemouth, but i dont mind going to Hampshire or another neighboring county.
