  1. They do? maybe on that fast jet rubbish I'd go for crimp most of the time. I managed to get a new automotive crimper Ratchet type for about £30. Think it was from maplin, but that was a few years ago now.maplin crimper
  2. Thats just like the facelift steering wheel, all be it a bit more upto date.
  3. I think it really poor that a few people can spoil other folks holiday, by going on strike, Thats why when I go past the pickers they dont get any sympathy from me. It's dont my company the world of good though:)
  4. They can repair if, the hole is on the flat part of the tyre i.e. not the side wall or where it starts to curve at the edges. They need to fit a patch on the inside of the tyre, normally about 1-2inchin diameter, so if the hole has an inch around it, which is flat then it should be ok. This is if the rest of the tyre is in good condition.

27's not too bad I find 28's better
  7. Have you been down Poole Quay drooling into the water? Theres some serious boats parked over the other side. Roll on the lottery win. Suppose i'd have to play the lottery first to win
  8. think i'll keep my money in the bank a bit longer
  9. I'll second that! I'm sure they are made of better materials, they dont seem to yellow so much.
  10. It sounds like a diffrent set up to the supra. I think the more modern systems do away with the cable from the pedal to throttle body. Unlike the supra which keeps it as back up, and has the sensor fitted at the throttle. I could understand a sensor in the foot well getting dirty, and damaged by stray feet etc..
  11. I always find dust works but never had the problem guess it's just how tall you are relation to the windscreen.
  12. yeah yeah dont rub it in you not going to JAE then?
  13. As far as I can tell they only just turned it over when it slipped. I'll be going to have a look myself sometime.
  14. Hmm i've tested the brakes on the bypass before in my time.. shows you how good they are, no letter yet, and that was from 110 when I saw the little black box. just don't go down there on biker night at poole quay it's always there.
  15. Well basically my supra replacement went to have it's cam belt replaced today. I supplied the garage with a new ford cambelt kit, and all the other extras need to change the belt. got a call to say they had an accident.... They didn't tightent the bolt that locks the cam wheel... :thumbdown so my question is what other damage might have the piston meeting valve do? They are taking the head off to see how many new valves they need now. It's a 1.8td if that makes any diffrence. Does any one know if the head bolts and head gasket can be re-used?
  16. If you have been caught speeding in Dorset look here, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SafeSpeedPR/message/53 Or here and go to the Dorset page http://www.abd.org.uk/ It might just get you points off and money back and is worth at least a phone call.
  17. Bronze or MSB with no spoiler comming from Poole park, heading towards sandbanks, about 2.30 today. Looking very good with some bling alloys. Think I've seen you before.
  18. hope these help. Although they are not in the right order.
  19. Ah :D:D:D the supra smile can't wait till i get another one
  20. When I was younger we used to call the kids from portland fraggles, dont think they liked it much. Poddington peas were cool, but fraggles were better.
