  1. Hi Brian hows it going? I'd second JamieP on the loan don't do it! Car loans just are not worth it. You'll never get it back. As for the Aristo do you relly miss it when it's off the road? As it sounds like it's not been running great for quite a while, you'll probably not miss it. Cheap cars are great a £1k volvo doesn't owe anything, most common cars loose £2k a year anyway. I'd say go for a nice jap 4x4 keep trusty old volvo. Sell Aristo and Range Rover. Still where I am I'd never get a nice fast motor, too many t***ers on the road. Maybe when I move back to sunny home!
  2. That sounds like my normal service:search:
  3. http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=21819 could be this, I've seen them too on the A312 they seem to be on all the main routes
  4. so you 21 yet? Happy belated birthday.
  5. Always one for a good thread hijack:d yeah up in north London buying a house and getting married next month. Then i'm sure i'll be looking at somthing along the lines of an aristo........ room for kids in the back!
  6. I was just thinking that he's finally become a man!! Now he's got a TT
  7. The headlights look a bit like facelift supra rear lights, tipped up and stuck on the front.
  8. Just realised I took the pic on that web site. It does look alot better in real life. Thats if you dont mind pink!
  9. People have had this problem before, usually from a cheap speedo conversion. search for, or look at Thor's webs site they do a very good converter.
  10. My xmas bonus is, not getting last months overtime paid to me! My Manager forgot to put all of my departments overtime through to payroll:swear: so we get even less pay than we should! let alone extra:violin:

    Bye Bye

Rays number of the beast post....
  13. I think if you supply a few more details people might be able to help more. i.e. year, transmission etc... there was a big thread about vvti tps do a search and all might become clear.
  14. Toyota only sell the negative lead as part of a loom. I made up a new lead when I converted Ivan's. I think halfords sell made up leads. I'm sure an good car audio place will be able to sort something.
  15. You would think they'd let you leave early, or at least strike up a deal so that everyone is happy, seems a waste doing nothing for 3 months. Good luck with the new job when it eventually starts.
  16. O-rings very rarely fail for any reason, apart from poor fitting. Thats assuming they are the correct type for the job i.e. fuel proof, or the correct temp range. I've worked on some really old aircraft (50+yrs) and they do break down with age. Even so they dont seem to fail untill they are disturbed, when this happens you can clearly see the compound has broken down.

  19. My old car, now IVAN's passed with the front cat out, and he had the front cat off me when he took the car. It might be worth a pm to see if he still has it?
  20. Think you'll find that most toyota indicators from models about the same age are alike, go to trents see if he's got a mr2 or something they should fit. I went there and got some for free, the guy behind the counter didn't even charge me.
  21. Easy to fit, not so easy to get the paper work for... if only cars were not as complicated as aircraft....
  22. we use gt-85 at work, not sure if it's better than other makes
