  1. hello mate, does this also play normal ps2 games or will it only play the paltinum games?. I already have a newer ps2 but i want one for my other son so i need to know if the games are compatiable. cheers
  2. Interested in this mate, is this the older larger one and I take it it plays all PS2 games aswell as the DVD disks, please post up some pics aswell as age, condition, does it have two contrpollers, faults etc. cheers

  4. Sorry folks that I could'nt make this, I went to get my car mapped on wednesday and unfortunately the car discovered a faulty fuel pump so was operating on only one. As a result, mapping was not finished, the car is now at JPS having a new pump fitted then off to maidstone again for a final mapping. Hope you all enjoy ourselves.
  5. I watched a bit of the program and thought the kids were great, Connor seemed to really enjotyit. My lad has been doing Lau Gar Kungfu since the age of 7 and has entered three tournamnts so far including the nationals. When he fights it is Lau Gar kickboxing which is Semi contact and light continous. They are fully padded up, gloves, shins, footpads and headguards. They can punch and kick to the body and the head. It is semi/light continous but my lad is eight and when he is fighting, him and the opponent can be going full out. It is controlled but can still be brutal. My lad loves it, he is rightly nervous before a fight but he is excited also. It is great for his confidence, sports such as these are great for kids. they install confidence, discipline and a will to win. Unlike your team sports, combat sports is all about you. When you enter the ring etc, everyone is watching you, you have nowhere to hide. You cannot blame your performance on the team, the blame cant be shared - it is all about you. Dont get me wrong. all the swearing etc and go and kill him talks is all unnecessary but for me contact sports/martial arts is better and far more rewarding then your football on saturday morning.
  6. Never bungeed but parachuted, Military parachuting 800ft, weighted down so you fall out the Hercules, drop 200ft in 3 seconds, have to worry about 30 - 100 other people in the air, worried about getting hit by a container, crap parachutes and then hitting the floor at a rapid rate of knots. Thats Living - LOL
  7. Has the 10th been confirmed as the actual day. 8. Hello mate, I will take Super Mario bros for £15 delivered - let me know and I will send payment.
  9. I use to use these quite alot when I was training and competing in my chosen sport. Best times were 7.20 for 2000 metres and 19.40 for 5000m. Not bad considering at this time I weighed under 71kg and am only 5feet 6". Try 500metres reps, this is great as an a intense aerobic session, 500m between 1.30 - 2minutes then 2 minutes rest, repeat 5 times - KILLER. Tip - the key when using these is long powerful strokes, explode in the pull and slow in the recovery, do not bend your knees on the recovery until the arms are straight with the hands passed the knees.

  11. Is this still for sale mate? if so I will take it, please advise me of "How to pay" do you accept paypal.
  12. Great dogs but as already stated, definitely not for the beginner. They need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to get the best out of them. I now have two GSD, a 22 month of large male long coat sable and 7 week old long coat sable bitch. The older dog new his place in the pecking order of my family whioch was under my youngest son (aged 5) but with the new addition, he has already gently made her aware that he is above her. Great dogs, grea companions, loyal and obedient if trained, be acareful about rehoming older dogs, speak to the RSPCA regarding temperament and circumstances of the dog.
  13. tbourner and Chris Thanks for the info, I will try my dog on raw chicken and see how he gets on.
  14. tbourner - yes mate we mash the vegetables, my GSD has never really liked complete biscuit so that why we vary his diet from day to day. Never thought about raw chicken, I will research this and evaluate the + and -. Cost is always an issue, he feeds bettert than me, I am contemplating getting another GSD (PUPPY) so the costs will definitely increase. Chris - Are you aware of any issues for dogs such as samonella as a result of eating raw chicken?
  15. I have a large German Shepherd dog, his diet consists of 1LB of tripe per day for breakfast Raw Liver Cooked Chicken Breast Fresh Vegetables Natures Menu (Organic Dog Food) Arden Grange Dry Dog biscuit The tripe he has every morning, his tea varies made up of some or all of the above. In terms of costing, he costs us £17.50 per week excluding dog bones and treats. He is a very active GSD so average consumes about 1.3kg of food a day.
  16. BUMP - Prices reduced again - offers welcomed
  17. Did you give the resignation and did he accept it? - contract law! does not need to written
  18. Exactly - :idea:can all traders and members please do me a favour, stop posting up great deals and all members stop posting up pics of their cars. All of the above give me great ideas on what to buy next but this is very bad for me - I HAVE NO CONTROL - HELP ME
  19. First Supra cost me £12,000 in Aug 2003, £18,000 spent on this modifying from standard TT auto - Bpu - PHR stage 1. The second Supra has cost me £35,000 to date, very high spec. So since Aug 03 I have spent £65,000 which is £13,000 a year since joining this merry club - NIGHTMARE
  20. Watching this, could be a right bargain - do you think it needs much work to get through an MOT?
  21. I am neally 35 now so only train about 6 - 7 hours per week at a medium to heavy intensity. I worked it out that I have been training for the last 23 years at various levels. Age - 11 - 14 years - Cross Country Age 14 - 16 years boxing and weight training Age 16 - 22 years - The Parachute Regiment - hardest thing I have ever done, when I was a PTI I trained on average 3 times per day. Age 22 - 32 years - Full contact Kickboxing 10 - 12 hrs per week very hard (Competition) This was cross training, bag work, sparring, weights, running etc etc Age 32 - to date - Trying to cling onto some level of fitness but old age and lack of motivation is catching up. Still do a bit of bag work, sparring, weights and running - all at a bit of a slower pace now - LOL
  22. You may be able to run a narrower wheel but why would you want to? If your plans are to run the same or a larger tyre width than the standard supra. It is probably best to run at least the same width wheel as stock. At least this way, it gives you room to manover if you decide to run wider tyres at a later date.
  23. you need to go at least 8.5 on the front and 9.5 on the rear mate, this was the width of the stock wheels. Remember the stock supra came with a 255 rear and and a 225 front I believe. I believe a 7.5" wheel is recommended for upto a 225 tyre only.
