I am sure this has been asked before but I have saerched and not found the info I need so my apologies but I am asking again. My J-Spec Soop makes 371 HP at the Hubs running at 1.2bar. Realistically what HP am I liable to make on Stage 3 Hybrids. The reason why I ask I want an honest opinion if they are worth it. A Supplier has quoted in the region of £2000 inclusive of VAT to supply and fit. I know a single requires a little bit extra mods but I already have or soon will have the following * Walbro Uprated Fuel Pump * Aeromotive FPR * Power Enterprise 650cc Injectors * Nurspec R Exhaust * No Cats * CW SMIC * ERL Water Injection * Cooler Plugs * Apexi Power Intake * Greddy Emanage & Profec E01 * WB02 Sensor Kit and Guage I think I everything I need to run a single safely but my concern is with the Auto Transmission and the fuel lines. Would I need y to uprate these? MVP Motorsport are offering the PHR Stage 1 DBB for $4895.00 (£2500) This turbo looks very impressive and is rated to 600+ BHP. Help me before I possibly make a serious mistake. I know the Single Kit wil be about another £1200 for fitting + tax but for this amount, it may be well worth it. However if I need to pay to uprate the Auto Transmission + Fuel Lines + Intercooler + Proper Ducting, the an extra £1200 suddenly could be an extra £4000. I am not interested in 1/4 miles just a fast street car so all advice ids welcome especially from individuals who have Hybrids or have had hybrids and are now single. Cheers

Hi Alex I can recommend Chris Preston, he has done work on my Supra before, top guy and top service. I believe he fits all the alarms etc for the local BMW Dealer aswell so he can be trusted. He is in to his cars, he has had a quick Cosworth and now drives a convertiable M3 Cheers

Differnces between AFR Sensor and the Lambda Sensor

Simon Thanks, so I dont require both kits as this would work out expensive. Not to play follow the leader but what unit of measure is preferred for ease of reading, lambda or AFR? thanks -
Differnces between AFR Sensor and the Lambda Sensor
Vaughany replied to Vaughany's topic in mkiv Technical
Dude on the web page they both say Wideband Kits, it is situated in the following link http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/merchant/supramkiv_electronics.shtml Make any sense to you? -
Hi everyone, can someone please shed some light on the following. I have tried several searches but have had no luck. I was going to purchase an EGT Guage aand sensor from MVP. On speaking to Dusty he advised me that EGT are a waste of time and they only tell you when it is to late, hence you already wrecked your engine. This together with other posts stating that the tips of the sensors can melt off and wreck the turbos. I have decided to steer away from the EGT Guage I have now decided on a AEM WB02 Kit, MVP do these at $377, however they provide 2 kits both at the same price that both measure the AFR. The differnce in the kits is that one kit uses an AFR Sensor and the other kit uses a Lambda Sensor. What is the differnce if any and if there is a differnce, which is best suited for a 1994 J-Spec TT with no cats. Also with regards to fitting, you need to have an 02 bung in the 2nd cat replacement pipe dont you. Thanks

I am looking to purchase a EGT Guage so I can better monitor the safety of the vehicle. I have been looking at MVP, all of their guages come with the necessary wires and sensor. Is there anything else required for fitting etc (Not Pillar Pods) and where exactly do you place the sensor. Thanks

31 I would of love to had a Supra TT when I was 18 - 22 years but I suppose back then, Imports were not very common back then and the UK Specs would probably of been in the region of £25,000+ still You young'uns are LUCKY

Thanks Terry, will fitting the 800cc be detrimental on hybrids, it is just I can see myself going single in a few years, I sort of have a 5 year plan and I am just coming upto 18month in Ian C, I PM you regarding the Mapping of my Emanage. I have PM you again refernce the date and work Thanks
-
Thanks Terry I would be right in saying that you supply the 650cc, just out of interest, do you also supply a slightly larger injector that will just drop into the J-Spec Fuel Rail that does not require any additional eqpt. I am only thinking in advance just in case I decide to go single in a couple of years I want to make sure the injectors I have will be adequate. I read a post by Ian C, he said 650cc would be the smallest he would run on a single. Please advise me on the above and the costs Thanks

I am just about to purchase some Stage 3 Hybrids form Turbo Technics. I was thinking to make the most of the car I should change the stock 440's injectors to some larger injectors so I can run 1.4 bar or higher! My dilema is what size do I go for, I know you can get drop in 650cc etc which would be fine but would it be better to buy say 720cc just in case I plan to go single at a later date. I already have uprated Fuel Pump ,Aeromotive FPR, Profec E01 and a Emanage on the Soop. My plan is to get everything else put on, then get it mapped. What size injectors do I go for - Technical Bods, please advise - V VORTEX BOYS, What do sale and what do you recommend? Thanks

S**t my missus drives MY Soop more than me. I work to far away to drive the Supra everyday (Fuel Costs) so hence I have a diesel. I cannot justify havin three cars so my Missus drives the Supra. In her defence, she drives well and knows to park away from the kerbs etc. I have had a few concerns though from friends saying they've seen her light up the rear wheels when she pulls out of Junctions. I hope they are kidding or soon she will be walking to work!

slow coaches - I am a ROCKETING RABBI

Hi Bill Dont worry about the picture, the bald spot dont look that bad. Anyway your Soop is on there, unfortunately slightly obscurred by mine but never mind. Supragal - as for walking, she coudl'nt do, kids to drop off etc so they get the pleasure of my car aswell. My 2 year old always says it wants to drive in the Supra. In fact they all think the Supra is there mum's car. I am never gonna get it back, I pay for the mods and take ownership on the weekends. GOD DAM IT!
-
I know she loves the car really, probably more than me. I see the little smile on her face everytime she drives passed, I wave bye and then get into the diesel. Unfortunately she works 5 miles from our home, I work 80 miles from our home. I need a closer job, I want my Soop back
-
Please have a word with my missus regarding how precious these cars are, she says " It is just a car". funny though, she never wants to drive our other car, maybe thats because its an old Peugeot 106 diesel.
-
Tigger, they are just the polished Rims. I keep them clean with Autosol, elbow grease, more elbow grease and patience. Its all worth it for that 5 minutes, then my missus takes the car out and drives through puddles/mud etc just to p*ss me off

Yeah 19" Braid Interlagos supplied from Ibrar at Pro-Alloys. Nice wheels but cleaning is a pain in the winter. Roll on the Summer

Hoping some changes will be happening soon Bomex Side Skirts TRD CF or Top Secret style 2 Bonnet TRD Rear Spoiler with CF Insert I am hoping to have these in a month or so and hopefully I will be able to post some pictures up in about Aug 2006 HOPE THIS WORKS!

My Supra is currently running 235/35/19 (Overall Diameter 647mm) on the front and 275/30/19 (Overall Diameter 648mm) on the rear. I want to increase the tyre sizes to increase traction etc. I am planning to go 245/35/19 (654mm)front and 285/30/19 (654mm)on the rears. Unfortunately I cannot affford to buy 4 brand new tyres striaght away so I was going to change the fronts first as they are badly worn and do the rears in a few months. Will running a 654mm overall diameter on the front and 648mm overall diameter on the rear drastically effect handling. Also is anyone running 245's and 285's, is there any issues of rubbing etc, my car has been lowered approximately 30mm at the front and 20mm at the rear on Eibach Sportline springs. Thanks for the advice

Thanks Oilman for the info on the prices, I will be ordering from you shortly. Cheers
-
Oilman I have looked at your products, I would be grateful if you could please tell me the price per 5L of the Silkolene 10W-50. An oil change is just around the corner and I have currently been using Millers 5W-50. On reading this, maybe its time for change. Cheers
