  1. Hello Mate, I am very happy with the car, the drive is very good and when tinkering around is very similar to the stock setup. However when on boost, the car is totally different and very impressive. I did'nt get a chance to test the car fully due to the wet roads (RLTC kept coming in) but I managed to get the car upto just short of 1.1 bar and it is alot quicker than BPU. My Supra has been mapped for 1.4bar so i hope the weather is dry tomorrow so I can give a proper road test. Is your car having some work done on it or were you just visiting Leon socially? cheers
  2. I have PE 650cc injectors and the emanage/profec e01 combi. It was mapped at Thors by Leon and Pete
  3. Obviously I have'nt drove it yet but what is it like. Is it like a kick in the head when the turbo comes online or is it mangeable. I am sure I am worrying over nothing but I my nightmare is that you floor it and hold on for dear life. Like I said I am probably worrying over nothing but please put my mind at rest. Leon did say that the power is very linear and is definitely driveable. cheers
  4. My Supra has been at Leons for the last few weeks getting my single turbo conversion done. He contacted me to day to say the car is done so I will be collecting it on friday. I went with the PHR Stage 1 kit, I know that all RR are different and you should not read to much into the figures but they seem very impressive. At 1.35 bar the car was dynoed at 470 bhp at the hubs and 438 LB of torque. As soon as I get it back I will post up some pictures, Leon said I will be very impressed with the way it drives and the power it delivers. CANT WAIT FOR FRIDAY!
  5. "Can you count SUCKERS, I said can you count SUCKERS! Top film. I may go and dig it out of my ancient video collection now and enjoy some mindless violence.
  6. I have H16 BHP, slightly changed to read BIG BHP
  7. Hello mate, I cant answer any of your questions at the moment as my car is in at JPS getting all the work done now. However I understand that the Emanage is a bit more controllable than your current setup so this maybe the answer. Please dont quote me on this as I am definitely no expert but I think you could go with bigger injectors I think I would be right when I say this would allow you to turn down your fuel pressure abit so you dont run to rich when you dont need it and then use your fuel computer to increase the fuelling when the boost increases. Bigger Injectors will also prepare you for the next stage when you decide to run more power again. Like I said mate, I am no expert and hopefully someone with more knowledge than me will be able to answer this better.

    Supra Salvage

Does it have the electric mirrors and motor?
  9. Keep the car, you have the rest of your life to pay off the debts and if they aren't paid off when this happens, not your problem.

  11. Got mine today Supragal, many thanks
  12. Good luck Ibrar, I look forward to visiting your workshop and geting some work carried out.
  13. Thanks for clarifying this Dude, I was not sure why he used barcoat, he said it would be better than a primer. My mate is not a painter by trade, he just tinkers, the job looks pretty good considering.
  14. I dont if this is a laymans or a professional term but thats whayt it sounded like when he pronounced it. I think it is just a better way to prime it, hopefully Dude can clarify this.
  15. Hello mate I wasn't sure how to take the Fan shroud out myself as I did'nt know if it came apart in bits. After along time working it out I did the following procedures. * Disconnect and remove the car battery and battery mounting plate * Disconnect the coolant pipe from the radiator and turn this upwards so the fan can pass by it * Jack the car up and unscrew the bottom engine cover (black plastic cover that sits underneath the car. * From here you will see 4 screws, two are for the fan shroud and two are for the small coolant fan - unscrew all of these * return to the engine bay and unscrew the 2 top screws that secure the shroud to the rad * unscrew the top screw that secures the small fan (6" diameter fan) to the rad. Unplug the connection to this fan and lift this out * reach down the fan shroud from above and undo the clips that attach the bottom half of the shroud from the rest (bottom circular bit). * You can now Remove the fan shroud It seems like a lot of work but you coan do the whole job in about half an hour, it is well worth it. As for affording to go single, my original plan was to purchase hybrids but I decided to spend a couple more grand and get alot more HP. I hope the thrill will be worth the money I spent and the headaches I am getting from the missus.
  16. A mate of mine has just done mine aswell as all the other factory black bits. I think he used the following * roughed up the lip with P1000 wet and dry paper * Barcoated Lip (Better than a primer I believe) * Applied base coat (199 silver provided by Autopaint Northampton) * Applied 2k lacquer with a flexible additive added Here is the pictures, it looks really good considering he is not a professional painter and it was done in his garage this weekend.
  17. I am having the HKS Type R Injtercooler fitted so this fan will probably have to be removed then. Leon from JPS is doing my single conversion so I am sure he will know if it can stay or if it has to go.
  18. Cheers guys for the info, maybe I need a re-gas but I am fitting a FMIC very soon, can this fan not stay aswell?
  19. Thanks guys Bobbeh - Yeh they are J-Spec headlights, need to be changed eventually. Mr Lover - lowered on Eibach Sportline springs - 30mm at the front and 20mm at the rear I think. the 19" rims seem to fill the arches better aswell so they definitely complement each other.
  20. I have been busy this weekend, well I done all the labour, my mate done all the painting in his garage. What do you think, a definate improvement so I can now forget the aftermarket bodykit. I also had the fan shroud and the spark plug cover painted. This is only the start, once the single turbo, hose techniques (blue) and the FMIC hard pipes are fitted in the next couple of weeks, the engine bay should look pucker.
  21. The fan that sits behind the front bumper in front of the radiator, I believe this is the Air Con Fan. If my understanding is correct this only comes on when the coolant temperature goes above 98 degrees celsius or when the A/C pressure rises to high. Is this correct or should this fan be on all the time when you the air con is on The reason I asked is that I turned on my air con and it is not very cool and I am wandering if this has anything to do with this fan as mine is not spinning. Also does anyone know where the fuse for this fan is located? Cheers
  22. pwpanas thanks mate, glad you like the sig, it is something similar to a motto we used from my army days. I think it sums up the Supra PERFECTLY Thanks again for the info.
  23. Dude A mate of mine is going to paint it, I got a primer but he said he was going to use a product call barcoat (I think thats how it spelt but thats how it sounds anyway) Will this be adequate as the primer? Cheers
