  4. Hi Jake, i was planning to remove the llight anyway as it is the near side headlight and it is a pain to work in there with the battery anyway. My concern was with actually changing teh bulb, does the bulb just pull out of the plastic connector? I am sure it will be stiff but I dont want to pull it if it aint meant to just pullout. My problem I always end up breaking something the first time i do it.
  5. cheers mate, i will pop in and see halfords i think
  6. yes mate, it is the one that is attached to the long plastic bit, excellent news if they sell them at Halfords and they are easy to fit. cheers for the info, you dont have an idea of the price, my Toyota dealer wanted approx £14.00
  7. Hi everyone, recentluy bought some uk head lights for my Supra, trimmed, fitted the j-spec holders etc and fitted, looks great but SH*T, one of the bulbs has gone Please advise where the best place to buy the repalcement is, i phoned Mr Toyota but they seem a bit expensive. Do Halfords provide the following. Not sure the exact name of the light but I think it is the parking light, in the cluster of 4 it is the lowest one in teh headlight that fits shines through the longer thinner lens. Does anyone have a part number etc and an alternative place to purchase other than Toyota. Also does the bulb just change or do you need to re-wire connectors etc. cheers
  8. Great Day, unfortunately the rain put the mockers on it a bit but worth the trip just to see all them Supras on the stand and to meet a few people. Nice to meet everyone, Ian.C, dont worry about downloading my map, i will contact you in the near future to arrange about coming down to see you. Boneyard - Thanks for delivery of my bits, i hope there is someway you can hold onto the rest of your stuff. Looking at all the stands, ours definitely looked the best especially with circular display. From a distance it looked like a fortress with all the Supras standing guard - AWESOME - WELL DONR TO THE CLUB ORGANISERS See you all soon, cheers
  9. Filled up tonight for JAE tomorrow - Optimax 96.9p per litre - this is RIDICULOUS - looks like the Supra will definitely become a weekend car only now
  10. what price was petrol when we had all the petrol strikes, it was lower than this I think! How soon we all forget - F**king Government - its help pays for all their holidays and expensive business meetings - Parasites the lot of em
  11. Thanks Guys - Ian are you still taking your Laptop to JAE? If possible and you have the time I would like you to download my current Emanage map. We have previously spoke about me bringing my Supra to you for tweaking? Are you there on Sunday?
  12. Hello Mate, I noticed your sig states 103 race fuel, is this what you are running at 1.5Bar. I am currently running a maximum of 1.4bar on 650cc with Emanage and my Dyno Graph shows my fuelling as spot on. I was going to increase the boost a bit and use the water injection to compensate so I dont get any det but I was unsure if this is safe on 98octane. Supraforums had a thread stating safe boost pressures on certain grades of fuel but unfortunately all there numbers seem to be different and they are quoting RON etc.
  13. Lovatt Will you be there on Sunday, definitely fancy having my Boot Rubbers done for £35.00 Cheers
  14. Hello B'have I noticed you are running te same kit as myself, what boost pressure are you running and have you had he car dynoed. Just interested to see what results you have had. Usmann A - I am fairly sure the stage 1 is a GT60
  15. Gentlemen, I thank you both for your info and expertise. My knowledge is not that in-depth so I think I read up a bit more and try to collate a variety of opinions. In simple terms, I was hoping that someone would be able to say yes you can, no you cant and even better than that actually give examples based on their own experience. I feel my mods cover everything safety wise but I am not sure. For example I have PHR Stage 1 Kit HKS Type R Intercooler Mocal Oil Cooler Mocal Transmission cooler 650cc Injectors and all other main stream fuelling mods Water Injection I apologise for my ignorance but I thought it was to do with the octane rating hence everyone uses race fuel when they are running very high boost. Anyway, thanks again now please CHILL OUT!
  16. Cheers John, guess I am staying at 1.4 for now then.
  17. Hello Mate, the link on MVP states that the turbo is rated for 2bar and has been driven at this on a Supra. My issue is rather, what is the maximum boost you can run on a given octane.
  18. Please explain mate as I do not know what you mean
  19. I have had problems with my Sky System, intermittent viewing and freezing picture etc. I contacted Sky and they talked me through a few little scenarios to try and fix it. They then explained that I would need an Engineer and as I was out of warranty it would cost me £65.00. So I thought what the hell and paid over the phone. Funny enough as soon as i paid I had no problems with my satalite at all. When the Engineer turned up I explained this to him, he was independant now, but use to work for Sky. He explained that it did not surprise him that I have not experienced anymore problems after I paid for the callout. He told me that there are loads of conspirancy theories regarding Sky and how they are tampering with peoples signals who dont have warranty to improve their P&L. I admit I am a bit of a synic and you could never proff it but definitely makes you think. Hell if the Goverment can lie then whose to say Sky cant scam us aswell.
  20. I have just had a PHR Stage 1 kit (similar to Boost Logic T61) fitted that is running and has been mapped at a maximum of 1.4bar. My question is can I raise the boost to say 1.5/1.6bar on Optimax or is this to high for 98 octane fuel. My fuelling is spot on at 1.4bar and also have water injection that will help prevent detonation and keep temps down. Also i suppose I could add an octane booster when I want to run more than 1.4bar. The car is awesome at 1.4bar but was wandering if I could run higher boost on occasion. My Supra is an Auto so the transmission is probably handling all it can but I have added a transmission cooler to help keep the fluid cooler. What is everyone else running on a Single Turbo with 98 octane fuel?
  21. My heart goes out to you and your family, try to remain positive
  22. Rosie, got my stuff today, many thanks
  23. Cheers Greg, this is what I did, thanks anyway
  24. Can we organise anything for J15A of the M1, we can then pick up all the guys and gals travelling down from Birmingham and further North. Who fancies meeting here?
