1. Any news mate, I would love to get these on by the weekend
2. How about Sunday the 11th, we could meet at midday, what does everyone think? This way we will be able to meet, have a look at all the motors in the daylight, grab a drink and something to eat then depart our separate ways around about 5pm.
3. I would prefer Sunday 18th as I work away In London during the week. At least on a sunday we have alot of daylight hours so we can view and enjoy each others cars. Towards the end of sept and in the evening, the light will be bad and it will probably be dark by 8pm. Surely sunday afternoon would be better., however i am easy.
4. I am up for that, we should definitly all meet up and convoy down to Trax together. There has to be at least 10 Supra Owners in the Northants Area. Bill Prawn and Sedge are both members on here and live in Northants.
5. 127 for me - Quote "You come up with insights that surprise even yourself" Well my missus was surprised when I told her I spent £0000's on a single turbo conversion.
6. equality and all that - now if it was a geezer, you know what you would do, dont you - exactly KNOCK EM OUT Unfortunately women dont want this type of equality though. So we will just have to continue giving them the vote, equal pay, days off for PMT, full rights to our kids, more than half the house, in fact, all the house, weekly payments so they can go out on the weekends picking up other blokes rather than spending the money on the children. Forget equality for women, how about equality for men - F**K IT, KNOCK HER OUT. Oh yeh - disregard all the above - ONLY KIDDING LOL
7. I dont know why, I just know I DO, thats real LOVE
8. Hi Guys, are there any convoys arranaged from the north to Bovingdon. I live in northampton and am looking to pick something up, anyone coming from birmingham, leicester, coventry. We could meet up on the M1
9. They are common in my street, 3 in total including mine, not saying I am the trend setter but mine was first though. Total in northants I think is about 10 so they are pretty common around here. Does'nt bother me though, 10 aint that many when you consider 20000 vectras, 10000 golfs etc
10. Cheers Chris I will leave it in Park from now on - Safety and all that, You are the man!
11. Convoy would be good, where is Trax, is it Silverstone, Meet at J15 then, who is going?
12. Chris Is it leave the Auto box in Neutral or in Park, I have always left in Neutral with engine running. Please confirm it is in Park and will this make a difference.
13. Hello mate Just had my PHR Stage 1 kit fitted, the car was dynoed at 470 at the hubs at Thor at 1.4bar. T he kits are excellent quality and have alot of HKS parts such as Manifold and external wastegate. I am very impressed with the turbo and how soon it delivers the power. Here are some pics of the install and of the dyno sheets. Leon at JPS done the whole install for me, TOP JOB, I was speaking to him yesterday ,he is having problems with his website but is at work, bell him on 01908 367100
14. Cheers Chris for the info, please confirm that upto 120 degrees C is okay for the auto box as long as I am using ATF Type IV fluid or equivalent. I thought it was under 100degrees C for the auto box but I dont doubt you, you are the expert. Baldy, Leon at JPS fitted it, all I can tell you was the sensor went striaght into the sump and then was rerouted back to the cabin and wired into the guage. Mad K, my apologies but I cant remember which supplier Leon uses but the kit was a Mocal 16 Row Oil Cooler kit with all the lines etc complete. Give him a bell mate on 01908 367100 cheers
15. I have recently fitted oil temp guage to my auto transmission so I can monitor temps etc. I would be grateful if someone could advise me what the oil temp operating range should be between for say daily driving and hard driving. I also have a mocal 16 row transmission cooler fitted and was wandering how much this should drop the temps by. My auto box is currently seeing between 70 and 90 degrees celsius depending on how hard i drive. Is this to high, taking into account I am running a single so my auto box is probably under a bit more stress cheers
16. Congrats Ibrar, note in my diary to pop down and see you some time - All the best in your new venture
17. not a problem mate, as long as i get them so I can still lift my bonnet and enjoy the August sun hitting the engine bay, I WILL BE HAPPY
18. excellent, I should have abit more bling before the summer ends then. This is where I am at the moment
19. Supradibbs, how long do you think it will be until we recieve them?
20. Matt thanks for the info, i will be making a decison in the early morning, if i decide to go, I will bell you and confirm the number of tickets i need and when i will be arriving. If you dont here from me by 11am, take it that i decided against the drive in the SHI**Y weather. cheers
21. Are there any convoys passing by northampton (j15 m1) to the TOTB on sunday, if so where and when. Thinking about going now, went last year and I want to see Leon run. On a separate note, anyone got spare tickets for sale? looking at me, the missus, and the two kids (age 3 and 6 - are these FOC) Cheers
22. After recently going isngle, I would take the supra, there is nothing more satisfying than destroying the other super cars. they think Toyota in the first instane but when you leave them standing, they think SUPRA Yesterday some porsche driver was devastated when i left him standing, he was tailgating behind me on the m1 at about 80mph flashing his lights for me to move over. I floored it and in secs I was doing 140mph and he disappeared in my rear view mirror When i finally let him go pass, the look on his face was priceless - THATS SATISFACTION. We would all like a £200,000 super car but for what I spent, my supra destroys most. LONG LIVE THE SUPRA!
