  3. Not sure what the box is, bought it from Leon along with his hi stall torque converter, it was the one from his old car when it ran a 10.01. Should be more than enough for what I anm going to use it for. Hell I would be happy with a low 12, anything lower than this wont be with me driving. purely a fast street car for me, drag strip once or twice just so I can say i have done it once. The times you run with a manual just makes your times even more impressive - good luck this season
  4. Thanks Gaz for the comments, yours, Leons and CRD seem to be leading the way forwards, hopefully one of you will make the 8's soon. With this spec I now have, I should put it down the strip just to see what it could do. I am a bit paranoid about ending up in the wall especially now I have spent a small fortune. Need to give it a go though, cant just quote figures (whatever it makes) I should give it a run if only once. cheers
  5. My Supra is neally done and should be home soon. I was speaking to Leon at JPS and all going well the Supra should be back by june 1st. Then a couple of thousand miles running in and then I will see what it can do. Spec is pretty impressive with a full respray (Lambo Blue) built engine, PHR Stage 2+, Tein Coilovers, standalone ECU, uprated gearbox etc etc. Cant wait to get it and get driving again. Leon has done a great job and on talking to him he is hoping to be back on the forum shortly offering his skills and experience. He told me his Supra just ran a official time of 9.7 at Pod with a terminal speed of 152mph. He seems confident all going well, he will be in the 8's very soon. The work he has done on my car is very impressive, he will be a great addition to the forum. Anyway here are the pics of my car.
  6. Paul How much do you want for this? Cheers
  7. yeh thanks alot, Leon has put alot of work into my car, built bottom end, uprated gear box, high torque converter, the full works. I am hoping to have a daily drive of 600bhp. Here is some pics of my previous supra, it had a PHR stage 1 that JPS done also. This time I have gone for the stage 2+. Leon's supra looks amazing, it ran a 10 sec dead at only 14psi and that was before the carbon panels etc. He starts testing again shortly and expecting to run early 9's with ease and is confident of achieving 8's. It will be great to have a Supra hit the 8's in the uk, this will truly put supras at the top and I am sure will raise some eyebrows on some other forums.
  8. Hi everyone, I have been down to JPS today to check on the progress of my Supra. My supra is coming on well and I am expecting to have it back in a few weeks. I took a few sneaky pics of Leon's Supra, it looks very impressive. He says he is expecting 8's in 2007 and recent indications seem to suggest this will be the case. He said he has been meaning to get back on the Forum and was going to contact a moderator regarding Trader status. He explained that he will be offering discounts to members on tuning and his laser alignment setup which is great news for supra owners. I feel he will be a welcome addition to the forum, he has a wealth of experience in tuning supras and has built some serious supras over the years. Anyway here are some pics of his car and some pics of the project he is doing for me.

Some of us still use JPS, he is a top bloke with years and years of supra experience. I have seen his car and it is awesome. He ran a few times at pod at the end of 06 and I recall he got a 10.01 at only 1 bar. As Branners stated, he has moved into a new building, more space for more cars, laser alignment, great setup. He is expecting big things in 2007. He is currently doing my project for me. I use to have a PHR stage 1 but now I have gone for the stage 2+, built bottom end and everyting - cant wait to get it. Here is mine - soon to be driven
  10. Hi Guys I had a similar problem but this solved it, this could be your answer. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=12431&highlight=noise+brakes
  11. Just got onto this post, admire your guts but hell, change it back that looks S**T Please dont try and bring the supra down to all them silly corsa and saxo's with stupid mods on them. The Supra is a special car and needs to be treated special, if your car had a mind of its own, i think it would head for the nearest tree - lol
  12. Hi Wayne payment sent mate, PM also sent ref logo colour. Cheers Mark

  17. hello mate, I have had mine fitted for a couple of years. Before I had them fitted I contacted Eibach with regards which springs are for the front and which are for the rear. This is the info they sent me Hello, 8222.001 is for the front and 8222.002 is for the rear. Best regards, Sandra Hochstein They have put them on back to front mate, take them back and ask them to sort this out and give a refund also. maybe worth while mentioning the garage also so no one else goes there.

  23. I was a PTI for 2 Para, my best BFT time was 7m 20sec, saying that though that was 11 years ago but I can still do 5min 30sec mile pace now, with a bit of training 3 miles in under 18 minutes should'nt be to difficult.
  24. entry fitness test is 3 miles in 30 minutes. obviously you need to impress so I would aim for about 18 minutes - civvy head off, army head back on
