Up fr this if my Supra is back, I woud suggest meeting at about 6.45/7am, i believe the convoy from Toddington is leaving between 8 and 8.30am. Nice to meet up and have a chat with everyone before setting off from either location. 1. Guigsy + CoolsBlue(?) 2. Vaughany (If Supra is back, it better be!)

Guisgy Definitely up for convoying down to toddington and then go to Pod from there, will see if Sedge and Chunk fancy joining us and anyother Supra owners in Npth fancy it. Start a thread mate, the more the merrier.
-
Are you putting twin turbo engine in it?
-
Yeh I know sedge and chunk well, Sedge had a few thing soff my old car when I converted it to single from BPU. What are your plans for the motor, your dad said it was an NA, what are your plans for it, he also said you work in a bodyshop, what is it you exactly do?
-
Hello Mate It was me talking to your dad, you live down the road from my father and have seen your supra a couple of times. My new supra has been away at JPS for the last year having some serious work done. Here are some pictures of my old silver one running a PHR stage 1 single turbo. And here is the new supra, Lamboughini Blue, this is running a PHR Stage 2+ turbo and all the extras. When I get it back I will pop around. I hope to have this back in a week in time for the Jap Show, are you going and convoying down? Their are a few supras in Northampton, two brothers who live just off my street both drive modded supras, a yellow one and a green supra both with bodykits

Hi everyone, anybody got these, Ideally I need one as I already have one on my brake flluid reservoir but will take 2 to ensure they are the same. If anyone has any or knows where to get these quickly, please inform me. Cheers

Cheers Bobbeh, yes mate I am very inmpressed with the entire setup of the car. The worst thing will be the 1500 miles of running her in. Hell never mind, cruising at 3000rpm will be ok, just happy to have her back, it has been over a year since I drove my old Supra. I am like a child with a new toy, never drove this car yet.

Just got back from JPS, Leon has informed me that the car will be ready to collect next week so yippee I can make it to the show at pod on the 7th October. I am very impressed with how the car looks and cannot wait to drive it. Here are some recent pics, more to come once it has had a good clean anad polish. cheers
-
Yes plaeas mate, I will PM you my address
-
Yeh I spoke to Leon regarding the race, he said he has difficulty to launch due to his disability but they are working on ways so he can launch harder. He also said that his car is far the heaviest at just short of 1400 kilos. All in all he said he is extremely happy with the setup and is confident that the car can still go quicker, he said he is not planning any big changes until he gets an 8sec dead quarter as he is sure the car can achieve that.

Hello mate, for the extra $1300 I would go for the PHR Stage 1 kit, I had this on my old supra, it is a great kit and allows you the options to change the turbo upto a stage 3 if required. The spool up on the stage 1 is only fractionally slower the street turbo kit but you get the quality HKS parts. Here is a pic of the PHR stage 1 on my old supra, you wont be disappointed.
-
Hi Paul, I think it is a 4200 but not sure, I have no idea how this will drive. Cheers
-
Hi Alex Yes mate, the injectors were off Leons old setup, I thought these were abit of overkill as I will never dream of any where near that much power. At least under fuelling will not be an issue and Leon assures me the Autronic can control the fuelling spot on so I am not running rich when not on boost. The advantage of getting the stuff off of Leon was it was cheaper than new and even though it was second hand, his previous setup only done about 400 miles in the least few years so it is all practicably new. Smarty, as soon as it is done, dont worry mate I will out driving around northants alot, I want to clock up the 1500 running in miles within a couple of weeks so I can tune it to say 1.4bar on low boost and 1.6/1.7 bar on high boost. cheers

Hi Guys Thanks for the kind words guys, Alex, cam cover etc is going on mate, it is only off as the project is not finished yet, the car has not been driven. As for spec, here is what I know, well the important stuff anyway, the work is being done by Leon at JPS. A lot of the stuff came from the old setup on his 10sec supra. The car was built from a empty UK shell. 1993 UK Spec Twin Turbo - Lamboughini Blue PHR Stage 2+ Turbo Kit - T67 Turbo Greddy 4 Row Intercooler Fluidyne Radiator with twin electric fans Mocal Oil Cooler Mocal Transmission Cooler 272 Cams Intake and outlet HKS Cam Gears 1200cc Injectors Veilside Intake Autronic ECU Autronic CDI Tein Superstreet Coilovers with EDFC High Stall Torque Converter Uprated Auto Gear Box Built Bottom End - Parts used rated to 1000bhp PHR 150amps Racing Alternator Twin Walbro Fuel Pumps Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator Necessary Guages and Air Fuel Ratio UK Brake setup with briaded fuel lines I am sure their is loads I have missed but the project has been planned indepth so nothing has been missed. I want a reliable 600bhp street car. I had a PHR Stage 1 before on my previous supra but this time I thought I would go as far as the money allowed (Missus would let me:blink:) Only a few things to tidy up, I am hoping to get it back within a couple of weeks so I can get to some shows and make the most of the summer. Cheers

yeh thanks guys, never been into bodykits so just colour coded the original black plastic skirts and active spoiler. Saying that I am thinking about a TRD Carbon spoiler and Bonnet.
-
Hi everyone, I was at JPS today to clean my Supra a bit before bringing it home. The car is neally done with just a few things left to tidy up before I can start running in the engine. Here are some pictures, what do you all think?
-
Hello mate, have you got a actual pic of the TRD spolier that you are selling
-
Yes mate, that is true, you only get agreed vakues if you are a renewal, new policies dont get it. My policy lapsed by one day and Sky said Ensign would not give me an agreed policy. Due to this fact, I decided to leave Sky and have gone with Adrian Flux, the quote thy gave me was better than my previous with Sky and it included a higher agreed value.
-
Yeh Ensign I believe insure all the supras as a part of the club memebrship. In fareness the guys at Sky seem fair but it is Ensign who are the insurers. As stated previously, it is Ensign that are now stopping the agreed values for the cars unless you are a renewal. This was one of the main perks of th club insurance, if it does notr exist, what are they actually giving us as lower quotes have been found through other insurers. I feel sorry for Sky as they are getting a bad deal from the members and it is not their fault but saying that, they earn the commission, may be they should be speaking to Ensign and telling thenm that the club insusrance scheme has vastily deteriated.
-
cheers Mate for the info, I agree, none of them want to pay out. I think we need to get another club insurer as Sky are not working out either. With 2000 members we must have some buying poewer on getting a good deal for all our members. This was how it was when Sky got the deal a while back, it now seems that the underwriter are moving the goal posts and Sky cant do anything about it.
-
I use to be witrh Sky, my policy lapsed for a couple of days as my Supra is not on the road at the moment and was transferred to another car which I then subsequently sold. On phoning Sky they explained that I could not have an agreed galue as I was not a renewal and this was a new quote, they said they dont do agreed values for new customers now. My policy expired on the 17th and I contacted them on the 18th. I explained I was a member of the club but this made no difference, guy I spoke to seem very unhelpful. I thought being the club insurer we would get special deals, it seems Ensigh who underwrite for Sky are changing the premiums and as a result Sky may as well be just another broker. As a result of the bad service, I went to Adrian Flux, their quote beat the price I was paying for Sky previous and they offered a higher agreed value. Adrian Flux get my business from now on.

ok mate, I look forward to seeing what else you can do, Bonnet stay would be good!
