  1. My alloys for sale, only been on the car 6 months but due to a £2000 + insurance renewal quote they will have to go, followed shortly by the rest of the car. Anyway, the wheels are almost as new condition so no need to mess about getting them refurbed. They will come with 4 virtually new yokohama tyres, barely used 1000 miles. They are a very high quality wheel, in the same league as Blitz etc, the spokes are hollow to save weight. Sizes: Front 9.0 x 18 245/40 18 Rear 10.0 x 18 275/35 18 The wheels include all the bolts and a deep socket for easy access to the bolts. Here's a link to the manufacturers website, it's in Japanese, but you'll get a feel for the quality of the product. http://www.yokohamatire.jp/yrc/japan/wheel/brand/avs_model6/index.html The bit you've been waiting for, the pics, Oh, and finally, only looking for around £850, bargain considering the tyres !!
  2. I'm amazed that this thread has gone on so long. Have you all gone mad. No one has yet asked to see pictures of this fresh as a virgin fuse puller that is supposedly still in it's original packaging, I for one would like to see a few pictures of this sought after item before commiting to any potential payment.
  3. Sorry to go off topic but Class 1, you said in your post 'Only a couple more and the DVLA will think you're a trader! ' What, if any, are the consequences of this.
  4. You should be getting at least around 150 miles from 40 quid, but 200 miles should be easy to achieve, even with a few full throttle blasts here and there. I can usually get around 350 miles from a full tank by the way.
  5. I'll do it if you like for £100, I'm not a trader or mechanic or anything but i fitted my own about 3 months ago and it works a treat. There's nothing technically difficult, it's just a pain in the ar$e accessing some of the wires for soldering, especially the abs ones.

    Look at my baby!

This is possibly the rarest spec of supra, UK, Manual, Black. Although I possibly have a slightly biassed opinion. What year was your car by the way ?, and is that a CW Intercooler I see there ?
  7. I used to have this alarm on my Celica GT4, there are issues with having a turbo timer which my car also had due to the fact that the alarm arms itself within 30secs of you getting out of the car. I'm afraid I can't really elaborate any further. By the way, I've just added a link to the 'ECU reset' thread that you should find very useful.

    ECU Reset?

Just to be absolutely certain, http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/ecu_reset/ecu_reset.jpg Theres no chance of doing it wrong now, plus you should find this site very useful, it's certainly saved me a huge amount in potential labour charges.

    ECU Reset?

Where on earth did you hear that you should turn everything on and disconnect the battery, sounds downright dangerous. All you need to do is remove the efi fuse for about 30 seconds, job done.
  10. Totally agree, I find people who insist on driving their commuter boxes around with the front fogs on super irritating, they really believe that it transforms their car into a 'sports' car.
  11. Fortunately I've been able to undo the 2 mods that were waste of time, the first one was the Apex'i cone filter and the second was the 12v fuel pump mod. Removing the fuel pump mod improved the low speed drivability of my car so much that I can't belive it was never mentioned in previous posts on this and other forums.
  12. MrRalphMan, it wasn't a difficult job, just a pain in the ar$e due to having to remove the plastic panels on both sides in the back of the car. Since I was dynamatting and sealing the wings around the rear speaker anyway it wasn't a lot of extra work. I got the light from a salvage yard for £30, beats paying about £130 from the dealer. Here's the link to the guide by Cheifgroover on how to connect it up and make sure you go to the second page of the thread as well as it has a couple of pics. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=37891&highlight=3rd+brake+light
  13. Possibly, especially if the smell seems much stronger in the passenger footwell, and you definitely don't want any shortcircuits at the ECU.
  14. Mines a Black UK spec 6sp, one of the first batch to come into the country, the first owner was Toyota GB, Reading.
  15. The earliest uk specs had a dummy light, like mine, due to them not being legal in the uk at that time. However, some of the later ones definitely did have them as standard. I recently fitted one to mine using the instructions provided by Cheifgroover. If you do a search on 3rd brakelight you should be able to find the guide.
  16. Yeah, quite likely, only 2 mins away from where we saw him.
  17. Archanox, no, it wasn't that one, i think it had the stock 16" wheels and standard spoiler. The one in the pic looks very nice though. The car was an L reg, so it was a RHD car from the UK.
  18. Spotted you in central Amsterdam on Thursday evening (8/9/05). Red J-spec L Reg, don't know if a member here but he stopped for me and my cousins to cross at a zebra crossing. The first time they've seen a Supra in Holland and they've lived there all their lives !! Nice looking car anyway, wish I had mine with me, I found Amsterdam to be very disappointing as far as spotting nice cars was concerned, the average cars seemed to be about 8 years old and worth about 2K. However, the city made up in other ways.
  19. My daily driver has recently been written off and I told the salvage company that I want to hold on to the car till a settlement was reached which was fine. Some companies are very eager to collect the car so that they do not incur any storage costs whic can be very lucrative for the garages that charge for this service. Anyway, I noticed your sig mentions Gibson and Boyne, is that a full re-trim and will you be removing it from the car. Oh, and sorry about the car.

    ducted FMIC

That looks very thorough indeed and very tidy too. I also ducted my s-type recently using the same stuff but only ducted the front of the fmic to force all the air through it, but didn't seal between the fmic and rad.

    Heater Matrix

So how much does Mr T want for the matrix ?
  22. I've been reading a lot of 'Single' threads recently and getting very tempted. Clarkey, you have pm. My car occaisionally has the blue smoke issues which I think may be the seals and a single seems to be the obvious upgrade these days. Branners, how is your car running, I was going through the mammoth 15 page thread just last night, did you get your car dynoed yet ?
  23. This might be a tad late, but it should definitely include the PS cooler, you'll have a hard time accommodating the FMIC otherwise.
  24. Does anyone know of a place that balances wheels with the bolt on method as I've never seen this. Will also be useful for the alloys on my daily driver Citroen Xantia which actually has no centre hole in the wheel !!
