  1. After 2 ½ amazing years I’m finally selling my Sup, thanks to a £2,400.00 insurance renewal quote. I’m going to include as much info as I can think of so this might be a long post. Registered to Toyota GB on 1/08/1993 who owned it till 08/07/1994. Original reg was L62 BPL, the official Toyota press car was L65 BPL 109,930 miles, absolutely complete history with 20k of Toyota invoices to prove. New radiator, AC condenser, HKS S Type FMIC and Toyota Red coolant @ 100,000 Miles, replaced due to age and crumbling fins. FMIC is fully ducted. Chrome radiator pipe to replacing sagging rubber one, supplied by Envy. Chris Wilson uprated clutch fitted @ 103,425 and brand new stock flywheel. Denso Iridium spark plugs, IK24. Silkolene Pro S 10w50 every 4,500 miles + Lexus V8 oil filter. V160 Getrag gearbox oil changed @ 104,211 miles (£30/litre) Cambelt @ approx 108,000 miles fitted by Chris Wilson. Front de-cat fitted by Chris Wilson. All brakes refurbed and Chris Wilson pads fitted and fluid chaged to Motul RBF 600 @ 108,546. Motul fluid change in diff. Paintwork is immaculate due to having it Zymolled twice a year which is a product I highly reccommend, not cheap though. Standard cream leather with fully working electrics, including the heated seats. Drivers seat is a little worn as you’d expect and I have included a picture. Passenger seat is in very good condition and the rears look virtually unused. Never been smoked in and there are absolutely no stains or burns anywhere inside the car and I have kept the carpets meticulously clean. I wouldn’t even allow anyone to eat in the car, except maybe some polo mints. I have covered only 11,000 miles in 2 ½ years and the only thing to go wrong was the EGCV needed replacing, I had this work carried out by Chris Wilson who also installed a cambelt at around 108,000 miles. Of all the cars I’ve previously owned which includes includes an S13 and S14 200sx an ST205 Celica GT4, 3.0 M3, this is the only car I’ve ever owned for more than 12 months which says a lot for the Supra. I doubt I’ll ever own a car that can offer more performance / £ and I really would have kept it if I could. Anyway, the point is, the car does not require any money spending on it and it will be a while before it does due to all the maintenance I have already carried out. Finally, I am hoping to get in the region of £9,500.00, but naturally, this is negotiable. I still have the HPI certificate from when I bought the car but, of course, I would advise any potential buyer to carry out their own checks. Click on thumbnails for hi res pics
  2. That's about right, you'll need spring compressors if you want to re-use the same spring or top mounts. Remember to loosen the centre nut in the top mount if you are going to re-use them, but not too much !!
  3. That's just what I was thinking !
  4. You know you can change the shocks without removing the drop links, I did mine in the summer, only to find that after fitting the new shocks the suspension started rattling due to worn drop links !! To remove the shocks I used a 4 foot long piece of wood to lever down the anti roll bar, this provided enough clearance to avoid the drop link nut and remove the shock. Hope this is of some help
  5. Used UK spec fuel pump, this is off a 38,000 mile supra, a good upgrade for those on old jap spec pumps. Offers around £40 + P&P.
  6. To be honest mate it's not the type of thing you should get as a used item. Go to http://www.cheaptoyotaparts.co.uk. I bought some from them, these are actually genuine parts and when you ring them they'll want your chassis no, if your lucky you'll have them next day.

    RLTC for sale

You have reply Paul, and, no problem Michael. Forgot to add, looking for about £400 and it is the standard unit, i.e. without Launch Control.
  8. Just removed from my car, fully working, only used about 5 months, was purchased as part of the Vortex Group Buy. Selling due to car being sold soon.
  9. Managed level 11 in about 10 mins.
  10. Some pics for the benefit of Rob.
  11. 1st dibs to Rob PM'd back.
  12. I've just removed these from my car to return it to stock, both items are in perfect condition and includes all the original packaging instructions etc. I've found the AVC-r very easy to install and setup myself using the instructions and especially the detailed guide on MKIV.COM in Tech Articles, the same goes for the GReddy BCC for which there is also detailed info. Looking for around; Apexi AVC-R £200 Greddy BCC £50 or £230 for both + p&p
  13. Hi mate, I owned a S14 for a year before I bought my supra 2 1/2 years ago, the differnece between the 2 cars is huge. I really enjoyed the rear drive handling of the 200, in fact my very first car was an S13 which was even more tail happy. Anyway, I would advise getting a TT as you will get bored quickly with the na and it also isn't as easy or cheap to get more power out of them. By the way, I'll be advertising mine for sale in a week or so.
  14. The silver is just the sheilding to the cable as a whole, ideally connect it to an earth. As terminator said, the four speed sensor wires can be connected in any order since these will be allocated to whichever wheel when you do the config drive, or you can jack each wheel in turn and rotate it to work out which channel a wheel corresponds to. I hope your flexible because it is extremely awkward working on those wires, I installed mine a few months ago, brilliant system.
  15. Never heard of a carbonfibre steering wheel fitted as standard on any model !

    18" AVS alloys

I'd be amazed if they didn't as the clearance is huge

No probs dude, sorry for the delay, sister had my digi cam. Anyway, that first pic shows the only slight scrape that exists. Wed is fine, let me know when you set off and also when you are about 2 hrs away from Leicester forest services, cheers mate.

Cheers for that mate, much appreciated, I'll be putting the car up for sale soon as well I'm having to console myself with the fact that I intend to get something nice in a year or so. In the meantime I'll have to make do with the BMW 325 Tds that I just bought yesterday. I've already been looking round some sites to find out about getting it remapped, old habits die hard

    new style wipers

I lilke the look of those wipers, theyr'e the design used as OE equipment on Audis, fords Mercedes, VW, BMW and even Lamborghini. They must be fairly effective you would assume.

    Oil Filter

Here's some additional info you may find interesting http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/parts/toyota_filter/index.html
  22. Would you be interested in a Zapco amp, just like the one here, very high end stuff. http://www.zapco.com/ Then go to products - Reference and it's the 360.4. I've been using it about a year and half and it's absolutely fantastic.
