I think your best bet would be to buy it with the standard speaker, if you like it fine, if not, it would only be a £35 quid investment which would be fairly easy to get back as I'm sure someone would snap it up quickly.
-
I'm not sure what the standard speaker is like as I never used it like that, it's only a paper cone though. The Focal speaker is good though, it's just the right amount of bass to be noticed, but if you want to actually feel evrything vibrate then this won't do that. I'm in Bradford, BD4 9LJ.

As the title says, this is the optional sub box for Supras that had the optional 7 speaker sound package. You'll notice the two bits that have been cut off, this was done by the previous owner in order to remove it without having to remove the boot release cables. It also makes fitting it easier, the box itself is perfect and the 4 mounting holes where the bolts go in are still in place so that it can be fitted securely. This can be supplied with the standard speaker for £35 + p&p. Or With the speaker shown which is a focal item, for £80 +p&p. I had it wired up via an Alpine 2 ch amp a picture of which has been included, let me know if you're interested in this.

The first thing i'd try is re-setting the ecu, just pull the efi fuse for 30 seconds and see if that helps. You'd be surprised at the difference it can make.

Standard exhaust, very good condition, as you'd expect considering these things are made of stainless steel. This is obviously from the cat back. Can take detailed pics if anyones interested. £50 ono + delivery You'd be better off collecting though !!

Cheers for that jezzybabes. Bignum, I'm in Bradford, BD4 9LJ. Can't include fitting, I'll print out the relevant pages from the Toyota workshop manual if you like.

As the title says, uk spec standard tubbies. They are off a a 38,000 mile sup, I bought them when I needed a new EGCV and the salvage dealer would not seperate it from the whole turbo pack. Even so, it was cheaper than buying the individual part from the dealer. Anyway, I saw the car these came off and have no reason to believe the mileage is dodgy, there is absolutely no play in the shafts and they spin perfectly freely. The blades are also in perfect condition with no bits missing. I bought them from Quality Salvage Direct after someone posted up about them on here, this is about a year and half ago. I've tried to include as much detail in the pics as possible, any inspection of the turbos is welcome, my post code is BD4 9LJ. Based on prevoius threads I'd like about £300 for these + p&p. Note: they are extremely heavy and dread to think what the postage would cost.

Hi Michael, I'd be happy to meet you half way - to Leeds that is. Just having a bit of a clear out now that I've just about got over selling the car. Anyway, in your case, I'd be happy to drop them off for free.

SOLD 4 x KYB AGX dampers for sale, these are 4 way adjustable for damping and are a popular upgrade along with Eibach springs.( Springs not included ) Setting 1 is slightly Softer than stock Setting 2 is slightly firmer than stock Setting 3 is noticably firmer than stock but ok on decent roads Setting 4 is very firm and would be best left for track days. Anyway, I only covered 1,500 miles on these before deciding to sell the car and so removed them. They are virtually new so a big saving is to be had I'm looking for about £270 + p&p.

SOLD For sale, pads for uk Spec Supra, or a supra with UK brakes, full set for all 4 wheels, lots of life left in them yet. Looking for about £40 + p&p.

This is almost certainly down to the EGCV. The rod has most likely broken off of the actual exhaust flap that it controls. Anyone that has gone single will have the EGCV sat around in their garage so you should be able to buy one for £50 or less. I had to pay a lot more for mine as the salvage dealer wouldn't separate it from the 2 turbos and the uk one is different. Do a search for the thread called 'is my 2nd turbo dead' this includes some pics which should help diagnose the cause. Good luck.

I think what 4packet said suggests that it would be worth 30% less, not 70% I have also owned a cat D car in the past ( not my ex supe! ) and at the right price and in the right condition it would still be worth considering. Remember, when you come to sell, the same questions will be going through the head of any potential buyer and it will have to be very keenly priced because of that fact. I've seen high mileage, straight, supes go for less than 7K. If it looks like 55k is genuine then i'd still try to knock a few hundred off that price, if that's possible.

Wow, what an amazing looking car, I bet it's been really well looked after as well. Wink Wink ( I'm sure there was smilie for this somewhere)
-
Did you notice in the last pic how worn the steering wheel was. There is no way this car has 55k on the clock. I've just sold my uk spec with 110k on the clock and the steering was in much better condition. I would guess this car has done in excess of 150k.
-
Unless you do a lot of track days the uk brakes with CW pads will definitely exceed all you braking needs. I know this because it's what I had.
-
Following a couple of pms requesting additional interior pics I have just added them.
-
Believe it or not but your the second person to say that. Appreciate the offer, but need to sell, I've already bought a runaround in it's place.
-
Thanks Green Peace, since deciding to sell, the car suddenly seems more desirable to me. Almost like how I felt before I bought it, kind of weird, even though it's still in my garage it's like I dont have it anymore. I've seen the pics of your's too, looks fantastic, that green reminds me of my old S14 200sx. Anyway, I don't want to go on or I'll convince my self that there's some way to keep the car.
-
No one could, I think my post code is heavily weighted on top of other factors.
-
Hi, just to let any interested parties know that the car is still available. I think January isn't the ideal time for selling, had a few pm's but no commitments yet. Better hurry if you're thinking about it, you'll be kicking yourselves once it's gone. By the way, I'm sure most of you will have worked it out from the pictures what the exhaust is but I didn't actually mention it in my original post. HKS Super Drager, still have the invoice for £545.00, ouch, but that includes a coffin sized HKS box.

There's mine, UK Spec TT6, Full history from day 1. I assume you must have seen it in the cars for sale section. I'm a bit far from you though. See details and hi res pics here, http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=56877

Thanks Francis, I'm 33 and live in Bradford, there's no chance the insurance is going to be appreciably lower, I rang about 6 companies, all quoted in excess of £2,200.00. I've also got a CD10 endorsement on my license (56 day Ban) but have been told this has only a small effect. I had planned to sell in the summer anyway. You're absolutely right Michael, this is most people's ideal spec Supra, I spent about nine months looking for it and made a 600 mile round trip to buy it.

Nito, the active spoiler is fixed in the down position, I don't know of any fmic that will still allow it to be active. You couldn't have seen my car that far south, in 2 1/2 years I've never travelled further than Birmingham since I bought it, which was in in Devon. The reason my renewal is so high is due to my daily driver Citroen Xantia being written off in April, I keep ringing the insurance company but they keep saying the matter is pending. So, is anyone interested ?
