  1. the boost controller was holding the boost at 1.1, i doubt it is a faulty gauge because the boostcontroler readout was the same, so is a restrictor ring a try it and see type of thing or are there just off teh shelf sizes to hold certain boost?

  3. ok .. quick scenario, i have a 94 l reg supra tt j spec with full decat running 380 bhp @ 1.1 bar with an greddy electronic boost controller the engine has blown so the car was trailered to grass hopper pro sport for sorting out, it it needs a rebuild and has two cracked pistons. i am told the reason this has happened is due to spiking because of the full decat and i MUST replace the first cat. i am lothe to do this as the decat was done to aid performance, is this correct and can anything else be done to solve the problem i am having? any help appreciated addi
  4. the plugs were recently changed to twin core platinum plugs .. is this a bad choice ?

    the exhaust is a new system only installed 3 mnths ago and dosent have any boxes lol
  6. i am experiencing loud popping from my exhaust on full boost now as i have decatted my 94 j spec running 1.1 boost .. is this detremental to the car ?
  7. does any1 else have the same boost controler as i am trying to reset it after engine mods ... p1 mode establishes fine ... p2 mode always regesters as ee ? it dsnt seem to be confirming the boost curve .. any ideas?

    hope sum1 on here can help me ... i own a jap spec tt 94 l reg supra with full stainless exhasut 2 x decat, greddy profec boost cotroler, fuel cut defender, hks filter blitz dv. on light acceleration down the slip road onto the a1 over the weekend the car lost power and started juddering slightly, on this i pulled over and poped the bonnet, the car idled ok but on anything over 2k revs there is a tapping noise which runs in speed with the revs, there is no smoke , the car appears to be boosting ok as the boost gauge is registering as normal, the air fuel ratio metre is also as normal but the engine has no power and on accelleration i am greated with a juddering, the rattle appears to be coming from the turbo side ov the car. the car was serviced 500 miles ago and treated to new high grade oil and hks plugs i am severly worried and cant find any1 in my area who will tackle an engine like mine .. first ov all has any1 any ideas what im facing and second does any1 know of sum1 in the harrogte area of north yorks who they would recomend cheers guys a very worried craig
  10. i currently run on my jspec a greddy profec electronic boost controler, it alloows me to set the pressure to run but at the moment even when lowered to 1.1 bar its stil running up to 1.3 when i nail i (very worrying) .. does this mean i need to reset it ??? any ideas pls??? (the unit came on the car when imprted and has been previoulty running fine but i have had a exhaust change since....do i need to reset the contrloler wenever i mod??? any help appreciated cheers

  12. yeh checked the oil level this morn and it is fine! hmmm....possibly a faulty sensor?
  13. well as i have no manual for my jspec tt could sum 1 tell me what the yellow oil warning light is for as it flashed on the other day and rather worried me
  14. cheers....am i best putting the valve on the pipe on the left ov the engine that goes down to intercooler or on the right that comes up from the intercooler? cheers
  15. cheers...i have taken off the greddy 1 and that leaves 2 holes where the oem dv was.....the pipe work i have with the blitz dv goes onto the main intercooler pipe so wat do i do where the oem was?? do i just bridge the two pipes with sum tube or block them both off???

  17. ive had a rattling from the boot and havce been rather worried that it was a shocker that had gone or sumthing similar!
  18. ok...a little help needed......i am just aboutto echange my greddy bov for a blitz super sound mk1 but on checking the pics on this site i notice that the blitz is mounted on the right when the greddy one is mounted up near the driver....is it a case ov a pipe inbetween the two points where the greddy one was or is it more complicated than that? any help wud b great guys...cheers

  20. well it aint the cap and ive noticed a damp block wen ive been running it so am guessing me hg has gone....any ideas on how much its gunna cost me and is it worrth me investing in a uprated kevlar one ???
