  1. Duplicating sounds like a great idea. This is what I have come up with so far: PANEL SUB-ASSY, INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH, NO.2 - 55404-14560 (RHS dash panel that always gets drilled into for alarm lights and fog light switches) 1996/05 onwards - I relocate my alarm light to a blank spot in the panel where the warning lights are BOARD SUB-ASSY, FRONT DOOR TRIM, RH - 67650-14790c0 (RH door card) 1996/05 onwards BOARD SUB-ASSY, FRONT DOOR TRIM, LH - 67050-14010c0 (LH door card) 1996/05 onwards On a different note, does anyone know if the mirrors with the part numbers: 879401b170a0 and 879101b140a0 (both 1994/08 to 1996/05) include the folding mirror motors etc? - these are still available for about £350 each before import fees/taxes from Amayama. I just want to check before I order anything! I'll hold off in sending my request form through as I'll have a couple of free requests which i'll use to duplicate someone else's. Cheers

    Hello!

I've heard that's very good - I've personally used Meguiars Ultimate Paste Wax (was on offer at Halfrauds at the time, it was surprisingly decent), but I'm going the ceramic coating route soon (Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light and EXO v4) once paint corrected.
  3. I've had a quick look, there doesn't appear to be an option to change the language, but I managed to open it in google translate. I've signed up to to the site, but I didn't go any further than that. A collective club donation sounds like a good idea!
  4. That's nice to see it being restored, I always wondered what happened to most of these old JGTC racing cars (especially after seeing that blue Supra abandoned at the front of that dealership). I think this car was the first Supra I saw (on Gran Turismo 3 though!), looking back on it now, it was always my favourite car to use in arcade mode, no wonder I've got one now! Might have to donate some, a certificate would be pretty cool. Thanks for posting, I probably wouldn't have seen it otherwise.
  5. Yeah, that is an annoying one to change, I found using bent needlenose pliers helps.
  6. Are your valve cover gaskets leaking? When mine leaked it collected there also, so it may be worth checking that first and then tightening the bolts/replacing the gasket (if it is leaking).

    Radiator

I'm planning to get a Koyorad as I've heard many positive reviews, but see Chris Wilson's response in the thread below - the stock TT rad works really well (as Swampy said) I'm not sure if they're cheaper than a Koyorad though (if you do need to replace your old one). https://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?329963-Best-radiator&styleid=5

    Rust

By rear pods, I assume you mean the air ducts? If so, it's really easy - there are a few 10mm bolts underneath and then two clips along the rear arch lip (a plastic trim removal tool is useful here!) and then the top is held in by 'pop clips' so you just gently pull along the top and it comes out. The rubber duct itself is held in by 4 screws on the side of the car and 6 10mm's on the other end in the wheel arch. If you're referring to the rear 'hockey sticks' it's also dead easy - there are three phillips screws in the arch (along the lip) and then I believe one 10mm bolt (then you pull toward the front/back of the car (I can't exactly remember which way) and it'll slide off the remaining clip. What I've found helpful in the past is to look at the part diagrams (as they show all of the fastenings) so I get an idea of where everything is before I go pulling stuff off. (see below for the part diagrams showing the air duct and hockey stick - I recently had to order all of the clips as i'm having my sills replaced as they were too far gone - unlike the OP's)
  9. See this thread here: https://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?56684-FAQ-Oil-Fluid-Interval-Capacity-Steering-Brake-Coolant-Diff-Engine You'll need a couple of the 5L bottles. If you're doing a complete change, i'd run some deionised water through the system first if the coolant hasn't been changed in a while, mine hadn't for what appeared to be at least a decade so I had to flush it three times!
  10. Found one on google, nabbed from a German Supra forum!
  11. Thanks both for the info, I’ll be sure to email/contact before visiting [emoji1417]
  12. True, maybe over a few trips then [emoji57]. His exhaust is also cool, but you’re right, nothing of his is cheap! [emoji23]
  13. Very cool! I definitely want to do a holiday like that, just travel to all the tuning shops and soak it all in (and bring back a whole load of parts of course [emoji6]) I’d love a genuine Ridox kit on one of my cars, but that’ll be very far in the future! There’s plenty of other stuff on the list first [emoji23] Looking forward to seeing Part 2 [emoji1417]

  15. Cheers - unfortunately, it's a bit far from me but thanks anyway.
  16. You’re definitely not too late, never thought about that or even knew that’s what that colour was called! Thats quite nice actually, definitely another one I’ll consider, thanks
  17. Thanks, £500 was the quote to get them powder coated! I think it came to be so expensive because they were going to powder coat them a base colour, paint bronze and then finish with a matte powder coat lacquer (to replicate the original anodized finish). I think the only reason I'd go with this option is to then be able to (theoretically) have the original rays bronze centre caps with the wheels. But you're right, it is pretty steep, so I'll probably go for a close powder coat match instead for 1/2 the price and sort else something out for centre caps. Cheers, Izaak
  18. I recently bought them, they need a refurb so I was after people’s opinions on the colour I should get them in, as I’m torn.
  19. No worries, hope you manage to find out the info for yours (lovely car btw), if they don’t reply you could also drop them a PM.
