  1. Yeah yours' will be A type as it's a GZ, although not all JDM TT6's came with a B03B unfortunately (mine is an A03B as its a facelift). Grannas Racing has a good table to decipher which spec had what (although I don't think the dates are quite right, iirc V161's only came in RZ's after 08/1997), but it is useful nonetheless.
  2. If your car doesn't have an existing airbag, there's no need for a harness, but if it does, you'll need this harness: 09082-00760 for it to work. It can be fitted w/o the harness but you'll likely have an airbag light on (and it obviously won't work!)
  3. I've got Bilstein B6's with Eibach lowering springs on my NA and I had no issues with fitting whatsoever. I didn't buy them new though, I got a used set from Sheefa (Greg) a couple years ago, so I'm not sure about the prices, but £130 does seem like a good price. They completely transformed the car when compared to the 23 y/o OEM shocks.
  4. I would definitely say it's worth something, @Boosted_Sup is looking for one. Price wise, I'm not sure, but as it's a JDM radio it might be worth less than a UK one, as it can't get many (if any) of our FM signals. But then again it being the OEM JDM radio might mean it's worth more as it's the correct unit for many of our cars. I've seen UDKM ones that are a similar vintage (from Celicas etc.) floating about on eBay for £50-100.
  5. Sounds like you're having a nightmare with yours The shape of the pipes shouldn't be an issue as the coolant system is pressurised at 1.1/1.3 bar so there should be plenty of flow. If both pipes leading to your new matrix are piping hot, I would have thought that it have to be something wrong with the HVAC system. I did notice that I had to go for a hard drive to get mine to bleed out fully (I flushed mine using Scooter's guide and it fixed it for a while, it's blocked again), so maybe take it to redline a few times and see? Hopefully it's now something quick and easy for you to sort. I'm contemplating just replacing my matrix, but I'm going to give a flush one more go as it's a lot quicker and cheaper to do.
  6. I've had a look at the part numbers of both the rack and the pump, and no part numbers are shared between the SC430 UZ bits and the JZ Supra bits. I may be wrong regarding fitment of the rack (the dimensions may work), but the pump on the schematic looks different between the SC and the Supra. I had my power steering pump refurbished by Chris Wilson as my reservoir was blocked, iirc it was about £150, so you might want to consider that instead and the same for the rack (no idea if Chris does these too). Pretty sure both the Supra pump and rack are also available brand new, but it definitely won't be cheap. The part numbers also list OEM rebuilt items too: (Pump) (Rack), which should be cheaper than brand new (if they're still available). Hope this helps.
  7. 16401-62100 is the part number, I believe it's the same cap as on loads of other Toyota's of a similar vintage (I've linked the number so you can see the other cars it's used on), so it'll be readily available from most motor factors etc.
  8. I've not had to do any work on my TT6 yet, but on my NA, that hose at the back of the head was a massive headache to remove (the clamp was very tight, and all of my pliers were seemingly too big/small to properly compress it). I ended up cutting the top of the hose off to get pliers in there (it had split, that was why I was taking it off). I now have a pair of flexible cable hose clamp pliers which make it much easier to remove. It was not necessary to remove this hose to get to the nuts (not sure if it's different on a GTE of course). Not a lot of coolant came out, as its basically the highest point in the system as the matrix and radiator is lower, so it's really only what's already in the lines that come out. If that hose is the original from 20+ years ago, I'd change it while you're there (I got mine from Keron, think it was somewhere between £10-20.) I've unfortunately had no experience of PCV valve removal yet on either cars yet, but from the way the manuals always just say 'remove the PCV valve' instead of a proper procedure, I think it's just getting some pliers around it and hoping it doesn't snap off before it comes out. Hope this helps!
  9. I’ve not personally seen any OEM facelift ones for sale (I got lucky and swapped my OEM Hockey Sticks and Pods for the skirts and spats). I cannot recall seeing any replica facelift spats for sale either. I believe all of the replica spats are fibreglass, so they’d just be modified to fit around the light. I’ve had no experience of any replica body parts so that’d be something other people would need to recommend. Alternatively, you could also get a set of plastic OEM prefacelift spats and get those modified if you wanted to, Keron (Extreme Performance) may have a set. I’d also put a wanted ad up on here for facelift spats, you never know someone might have some sitting around!
  10. Ah okay, it's hard to say for sure (as my facelift OEM ones would suggest only half would be covered), but the photo below would also suggest otherwise. The car below is @2jzupra's on instagram, it might be worth asking him to confirm?
  11. Yeah, all of the copy spats I can recall seeing go straight across as they're copied from the pre-facelift spat. Most facelift cars i've seen with the pre-facelift spats have the light screwed in on top and it looks pretty decent.
  12. My OEM facelift spats (which I still need to fit) have a cut out around the light/reflector on the quarter panel.

  14. I received mine yesterday too, top work Mark, looks even better in the flesh
  15. I had similar weird cold/warm starting idle issues etc on my NA, I replaced all of my vaccum/PCV lines and since (knock on wood!) I've had no issues - but I presume all of your lines aren't the OEM ones and have been recently changed? This: https://my.prostreetonline.com/2014/09/23/how-to-test-a-2jzge-iac/ is a guide on how to check the IACV, I never did it myself, but I had it saved from when I thought it was a culprit, so it might be worth checking. Hopefully it's something simple and easy to sort!
  16. Both of mine are still taxed, the NA is my daily driver, and the TT6 still gets driven on the odd good day (and for it's MOT earlier this week), but I can understand why the majority are now deciding to SORN from Oct - April.

  18. Hi all, I dropped them a message through their contact form and they've formally transferred my previous ticket to this Sunday so I've got an updated ticket/QR code through Eventbrite. It might be a good idea for anyone who hasn't had an updated ticket already to drop them a quick message and get it transferred over, just in case. Cheers
  19. Hi, I got my TT brakes from a guy in the US running high HP so mine came with Stoptech drilled and slotted discs and aggressive pads (which are surprisingly good even without heat in them), so someone else would need to recommend something easier to get from the UK (maybe OEM discs with CW pads?), I can however help you with the size differences, see them below: UK (4p/2p) Front - 323mm diameter 30mm thick Rear - 324mm diameter 16mm thick Jap (2p/1p) Front - 296mm diameter 32mm thick Rear - 307mm diameter 16mm thick
  20. Evening, I'm still planning on coming along, although I've not had any emails for the ticket reschedule. Should I drop their events team an email to confirm or will my existing one still work? Apologies in advance if I'm being thick! Cheers.
  21. I did this fix on my NA (5spd pre-facelift) and it fixed all of my issues. The active spoiler always comes down and goes back up when it should, and I no longer get a check engine light relating to Code 42. So I'd say it is worth a try, worst case you can solder it back if it does nothing.
  22. Christ that is a list, that is basically what I plan to on mine (eventually!) - I'm surprised no-one has snapped this up yet, GLWTS!
