Hi Mark, be warned though mate, sticking them in the oven is a messy job... Don't use your mum's oven or do it when your GF's in... If I remember correctly my GF's words went along the lines of "WTF is a headlamp doing in the oven and what is that smell" when she came home as I was doing mine... :D

Vettes are nice cars.... Steering wheel is on the wrong side though:p I do know what you mean though, it's a slippery slope with tuning/modding in general. You upgrade one thing and something else can't cope... Does get a little expensive sometimes...

Yeah it's sump plug mounted, just the fact it's gone up 15 degrees is a little strange. It's never been above 100 even when going some....

Yeah I agree, anywhere should be able to do this. Very simple job. You could do it yourself if you have access to a garage with a pit. I assume you are not de-catting it at the same time??

Not sure if I came across the wrong way here but it is kind of difficult to stay neutral.... To say that if I've had good experiences it's because I'm in a big boys club is a little OTT. Is it because I'm now running a single fitted and supplied by Vortex and dude? I just sincerly hope the day never comes Si when I get done over but at the end of the day we are all allowed our own opinions. Out of interest if all tuners f**k people over at some point then what difference is gettign a Vette gonna make??

All, Just a little advise please, I have had a oil temp gauge in the car for over a year and up untill I had my single put on it would aleways read around 80ish when fully warm. Since having the single put on it now reads around 95ish when warm. I'm just wondering if anyone knows what the temp reading should be??? Just wondering if I need an oil cooler??? Thanks,

I have to say I'm very suprised that this has got like this. Having dealt with Dude many times over recent months I would be shocked that he was unreasonable to you? I think everyone can make mistakes, after all we are all human and that IMO you should be given the chance to correct any mistakes you make. This reminds me of a thread not too long ago reg JPS. Sometimes I think it comes down to people having the wrong expectations for the amount of money they are paying for a job. After all many people have used both Dude and JPS and are more than happy with the service.

Thanks Trig / Barney, Trig, I got the strut braces via Envy. They are Cusco ones. The rear is deff real CF (I know it's not in the pics...) The front I think is alloy wrapped in CF. Cheers,

Well after a few people telling me to get my bay sorted now I've got my single on, I finally got some Bling on there courtesy of Mr Miami GT.... I must have been really lucky with Suprastore/Titan.... I ordered a set of 19" Racing Harts from them and they arrived via air shipment 4-5 days later. Paid by cc and all was fine. Like I say maybe I was just lucky but it does show everyone has a different view on things.... To be honest I had many more issues with traders in this country than I did with them but who knows...
