    toluene

Does anyone know where you can buy toluene in the south east/London area? I'm interested in mixing some to see what sort of difference it makes. Cheers

Simon, I have a facelift and am buying Dude's front nose from him. You could always wait to see how we get around the issue and just see what you think it looks like??? Will see if the originals will fit neatly and if not then will go with the drill hole option I guess. Cheers
  3. Fifty, Mine got stuck the other day as well. I just put 3 in one oil on it and let it soak in. It is now working again. Turned out it was just stuck in the down position. Cheers
  4. Sounds very impressive indeed:respekt: Any ideas on timescales and costs involved yet Chris???
  5. Okay cool:cool: Thought I may have been mistaken, I was going to say that if they were the larger ones I was not very impressed with there performance...
  6. All, May sound like a stupid question but can someone tell from the pics on the link below what type of brakes they are? The reason I ask is I always assumed as my car was a J-Spec it had J-Spec brakes, however as I've been looking into getting UK Spec rear discs I read that on the facelift models post 97. The larger brakes were fitted as standard...?? Cheers Look under Original Brakes link.
  7. Thanks Chris, I'll just ignore it from now on..... Makes me fell better.
  8. Guys, Am I right in thinking detonation is the same as Knocking??? If so then according to my newly fitted S-AFC II my car Knocks at high boost and when idleling after a good blat. Any ideas what the level is before you need to worry? Thanks
  9. I'll second that. Good Luck:) Let us know how you get on...
  10. A friend of mine co-owns and runs Racing Green TVR. He reckons it's going to be a monster. It's only around a 1000kg and 400BHP. The Tuscan was 1100kg and 360bhp and it went soooo fast!!!! Will go like shit of a shovel. Also notice how low the car sits on it's springs. Far lower than the Tuscan and Tamora. This really is a serious toy. Still no TC or ABS. Quality!!! Apparently the back is the way it is for aerodynamics at high speed. I love the front though. I reckon it will look a lot better in real life.
  11. Just though some of you may be interested in this. New TVR Cheers
  12. Well, after various investigation it looks like I might have to sell my Rims in order to get bigger brakes under them. Is there anyone interested in buying a set of Khan RSR's 18" with good level of tyres left. See pics here. Just look at the bottom under Matt B. Not a great pic but it will do for now. Cheers Matt B
  13. Sounds cool. Will let you guys know when I get a response from them. HOw much are normal clusters??? Does anyone know? Also are they heavy? Would shipping be a lot do you think?
  14. Al, No offence intended mate, I just wondered how they were doing it... I've sent them a mail to get some prices. Maybe we could get a group buy going??? Cheers Matt B
  15. If the above is true and it cannot be done. How do these guys do it with LED's? See this...
  16. Cheers guys. BR will be in touch. To be honest I'm looking to do this in the new year but thought I should check out my options first. Can you do something to stop the center of the discs rusting on UK spec's?
  17. I've got my RLTC displayed over my switch stuck to the dash. Will post some pics and you can see what I mean. Cheers
  18. Oh, Not sure how old my one's are... I need to get out there and measure the space I guess. Cheers How's it going Far? Got you kit fitted yet?
  19. All, A question to all you who have had this done and know what they are talking about. I currently have 18" Kahn RSR's on my Soop, I want to upgrade the brakes and have around £1500 as a budget. Does anyone know what brakes will actually fit under my rims? I've heard that even the UK specs are a tight fit on RSR's. My choices are between - Stop-Tech - AP's - Brembo's - UK's - Kad's. I want aluminium bells if possible and Red calipers. Cheers All. Matt B
  20. Cool, Cool, that's probably what was done. I did not fit it so as it was done by the Pro's I'm sure all is okay. Cheers for the info guys.
  21. So, have I actually done more harm by having the sensor connection moved from the ECU to the S-AFC2?? Not good:(
  22. Cheers guys. I'll try to ignore it then... The Knock sensor is there on the car anyway right? So how does the Supra tell you about knocking without a S-AFC?
  23. All, I need some help with my newly fitted Apexi S-AFC2 with Knock sensor. As stated the version two comes with the Knock sensing function but I'm not really sure what to make of it? Should it measure any knocking at all? Or just when turbo's pull in ect? Currently It is in low figures when the engine is warma and ticking over, say around 10-15 this will normally drop a little when you push on the gas pedal. But when the turbo's come on-line it goes mad and on full boost it can hit 40+, I'm not sure how good/bad this is? Anyone else got one of these I can compare mine to. Any advice is greatly recieved. Cheers
  24. One thing I thought I should point out is that although most think these mags are utter shite, it can't be forgotten that at least two of them have had, and moddified Soops in the past as project cars and therefore I don't think they have a bad opinion of them at all. Plus not being funny as I'm not!!! but the supra has to be one of the most "Max Power" cars to most outsiders because of The Fast and the Furious. I don't think we should always bang on about kids and there Fiesta's as I myself went through the "polishing a turd" stage when it was all I could afford, and I'm still into modding now with my Supra. I'm not trying to completely defend these mags just give a different point of view. Cheers
