  1. It is the same car. Last time it showed anything about rust on an MOT was in 2010 the MOT history after that doesnt mention any rust so I guess there is no rust?
  2. Yep they were they issued me a refund straight away. - - - Updated - - - Thanks - I have now confirmed it is a genuine VVTi F6 TT. Thanks
  3. Unfortunately carvx cant help they said as the car was exported way before 2004 they wont hold any information. I have been told the same from another company called japanese odometer check. I think the car was exported from Japan to the UK when it was only 2-3 years old.
  4. I just did that and paid for the check thanks for the headsup it was about £26 odd and im waiting for them to provide the report, says they take upto a day to process. It came up as an RZ-S 2jzgte so guess it is a genuine manual tt. I noticed the J2A is actually JZA when it was registered im guessing the person who did the paperwork read the Z as a 2
  5. Sorry I don't follow? the VIN I have provided above does not say 2jzgte it says J2A80******* So does this indicate it is not a genuine TT? - - - Updated - - - Sorry I don't follow? the VIN I have provided above does not say 2jzgte it says J2A80******* So does this indicate it is not a genuine TT?
  6. Thanks for the replies. I will take a look over on the registry
  7. Hi guys, I am looking into a Toyota Supra. I have the Engine No and VIN/Chassis No. I would like to know if this is the code for a factory VVTi twin turbo 6 speed manual? Engine No: EJ2A800****** VIN/Chassis No: J2A80******* Thanks in advance
  8. The red one which was 1a1 doesnt really make it a negative now thats its red in my opinion, as it can always be changed back to 1a1 very easily, its also a stock car. Im not a big fan of the 1a1 colour tbh. The other one other than Josh's is a Storm Blue UK car. links for all 3 below: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-SUPRA-1996-Storm-Blue-UK-Spec-Twin-Turbo-6-Speed-Manual-1-of-200/323863394398?hash=item4b67c3385e:g:AXMAAOSw35ZdDWwV https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/supra/toyota-supra-3-0-twin-turbo-6-speed-manual-uk-supplied-fsh-----------------1993/9789060 https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/supra/toyota-supra-uk-spec-6-speed-manual--------------1994/9862235
  9. There are 3 UK Spec TT 6 speed manuals currently for sale on ebay and pistonheads. Hope this helps.
  10. I am not in touch with the owner or anyone who is talking to the owner. I was just having a chat with one of my close pals and the subject came up about UK Spec supra colours, I knew there were some green UK cars and he was sure about 1A1 being on the UK spec cars - as I had never seen or heard of any on UK spec cars, I was only aware of this colour being on J-spec cars. I just wanted to check if they were actually produced as our chat turned into a debate! He claimed he knew of one from years ago in a 6 speed manual. So I thought lets go to the forum if they are available in UK spec cars then someone here will surely know
  11. Thanks for all the information guys, really helpful information. The car I have been told about is a factory 6 speed manual - may be the only 6 speed UK spec car in 1A1.
  12. Is it possible that this was a one off on a UK car? As the UK car I was made aware of in this colour has all of the supporting UK spec has never been exported or imported from the UK and also has a UK Spec chassis number as from what I understand the J-Spec cars have a slightly different chassis number (Similar to the Nissan Skyline R33 & R34 GTR's).
  13. Thanks for the information. I was told there was also a bronze/brown UK supra from factory and that this is the only one of this colour in UK Spec.
  14. Hi, I am trying to gather some information about the UK Spec Toyota Supra's. - Were the UK cars only available in specific colours? if so what were these? - Did they have different engine or chassis numbers compared to the Japanese models? Any information on this topic would be much appreciated. Thanks
  15. There is one for sale on pistonheads at the moment with quite low mileage which is quite rare to find (in fact its quite rare to find any UK supra). Seems to be the only UK supra currently for sale aswell. https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/supra/toyota-supra-3-0-twin-turbo-uk-car-same-owner-last-19-years-----------------1993/8027035
  16. This is going to be one hell of a supra when done

    £30k UK auto?

I sold my UK R33 GTR recently which was fairly standard with a few modifications carried out by Nissan Middlehurst running around 400BHP. I got £23500 for that which was a good price for the buyer. Looking at them now a decent R33 is £17000 plus. A series 3 R33 GTR will cost you around early 20s. All skylines are on the up, You could buy an R33 GTR a few years ago for £8000 thats what GTS-T's are fetching now. Its with many cars now for example the E46 M3 manual coupes, skylines, NSXs, S2000s and more. I think the Supra is part of that crowd as a around 6 years ago you could buy a TT 6 speed supra for £12000 which would be seen as a bargain in todays market.
  18. They are quite a renowned company, A friend of mine had a MK2 Focus RS running over 500BHP supported by a Borg Warner turbo.

    £30k UK auto?

I must agree with J_JZA80 where will you find another uk spec with under 40k miles. I would hate to think what this would be worth in a years time considering the way R34 GTR's are rocketing in value. I would have thought this can only follow in pursuit. I recall from the forum members on the GTROC commenting 32-35k was strong money for an R34 GTR around early 2016, but around mid to late 2016 the cheapest R34 GTR on the market was 50k.
  20. I prefer the DB9 to the V8 Vantage. One of the best colours too

Hi im Asim, new to the forum I did own a UK supplied R33 GTR up until recently which I decided to let go and have decided to keep an eye out for a mildly tuned 6 speed twin turbo. I used to own a N/A 5 speed manual many many moons ago.
