  1. Looking like she will have to swing over to wanting a BRZ then if that's the case! Glad to see there may be some form of theory behind it rather than insurance companies trying it on at any avenue...
  2. Thanks for the info guys, makes sense when you break it down into statistics I guess, even if it doesn't make sense that they're effectively the same vehicle. May have to steer her towards a BRZ then unfortunately!
  3. Currently trying to find insurance for my girlfriend on a GT86, which came out at a very high £2,300; however, if she was to insure a BRZ it comes out with quotes of around £1,500. I have spoken to Adrian Flux and the person speaking through the issue with me didn't seem to understand the vehicles and kept making a relation to the postcode, engine size and models; she didn't seem to want to understand that they are in effect the same car with only very minor differences. Don't suppose anyone else would happen to have any information on why there is such a price gap? This has been on over 10-15 vehicles from each, so isn't simply just down to checking 1 registration of each car with 1 company. Any info would help greatly as she is itching to get a Pearl White 86 rather than having to settle for a BRZ. Thanks in advance!
  4. Hi guys, Really struggling with sourcing a classy and subtle shade of metallic/satin gold that I want to go ahead with for a few things, alloys maybe included. Anyone have any colour codes with a picture of the exact colour they'd be willing to show? Thanks in advance!
  5. Anyone here own a bright orange modified Supra? It was just heading from Oswestry to Shrewsbury down the bypass. Looked clean!
  6. Yeah that would be great if you don't mind?
  7. Random one, I've asked various avenues and no one had the information on the colour code I'm looking for, and Work are yet to get back to me. I'm looking for the colour code of Work VSXX standard gold they use on their VSXX alloys, saw a set in person last week and really want to get a colour as close as possible. Long shot I know, but anyone happen to have the colour code? Or good with paint/powder and happen to know of any very similar? Thanks in advance! Sam
  8. Booked onto this now with a club stand pass via Club JDM UK, hopefully see some more of you there
  9. That would be ideal! As long as they wouldn't mind extra people on their stand of course. I'll look it up
  10. I'll likely still be going mate, happy to meet people there. We can set up our own Car Park stand
  11. Unfortunately club stands have already been handed out and have now been closed for club entrys. May look at doing another show
  12. Prices are looking like £20 for Saturday Japfest; or £36 for a weekend pass to both this and then Trax the following day
  13. I'd definitely be up for this! Never been before, happy to enter onto the clubstand
  14. All information is on here: http://www.japfest.co.uk/japfest-donington Japfest is definitely child friendly; and Trax I attended at Silverstone around 2 years ago last and that was child friendly as well. Not entirely sure why they've moved from Silverstone to Donington if I'm honest, I'll look into it
  15. If anyone else from here wants to copy the list above and add themselves to it I'll update a list at the top. Could also do with someone more experienced in organisation of these events giving me a hand if people want me to arrange it
  16. Would anyone else want to start looking at setting up a plan for Donnington Japfest on Saturday 30th June? Could also stick around the whole weekend if people wanted to do Trax on Sunday 1st as well! Club tickets close for sale on the 4th June Information on following link: http://www.japfest.co.uk/japfest-donington Interested so far: 1. Crossy 2. Matt.L 3. Girth45 4. Harryww89 5. Drew007
  17. Been searching for a good set of locking wheel nuts as want to replace the ones on mine which are aged and 2 different sets. Anyone recently purchased and can recommend a good set that are up to the specification needed fornthe Supra? Not wanting to purchase eBay specials as worried about the quality and the tapered fitment. Cheers guys!
  18. Its most likely I'll be finding some chrome ones and finding a good place to plate them then! Not going to be doing it for a month though so if any good badges come up I may make a purchase instead! Thanks for all of the info guys!
  19. I've got the standard ones on it I'm willing to work with. Could do with speaking to someone more knowledgeable about what's the best way to finish them for a long lasting and good looking finish, as it's looking like it'll be hard to get my hands on an original set
  20. No problem mate, don't get yourself in shit for my sake haha Thanks for looking! - - - Updated - - - I'll set up a saved search on those as well then, cheers!
  21. Made for an interesting read, clearly it would have to be someone who knows a lot about what they're doing with the preparation for the plating to last then
  22. More than happy to pay for it if it's what I'm looking for I appreciate it!
