Hi all, Currently in talks with Caffeine and Machine to set up a Supra meet on the 5th April. For people familiar with this venue, it needs no introduction. For those who aren't familiar head onto Instagram and type Caffeine and Machine and have a gander at the sort of cars that turn up! We need at least 15 to make it feasible, however they can accommodate 25 on the front court and even more than that in the rest of their areas. Potential for other groups to book the venue on this date so we need to move quickly. I have set up a WhatsApp group to gauge numbers which I will add people to periodically if you inbox me your number.

Hi all, I've been here a few years now, tend to post here and there when I feel I can leave a comment of benefit for people; but planning on using the forum more avidly again. Will be starting a build progress thread over the next week aswell to document the Supra's progress over the last 2 years of my ownership, as well as what I've got planned for the next couple of months and next Winter! I've recently been picked up by Juicy Detailing as a Sponsor for their brand, having been 1 applicant out of thousands that applied I was fortunate enough that the Supra was picked! I have used Juicy Detailing's products for a good year or so, as well as other brands it goes without saying. I'm a very avid detailer and tend to find that 1 product range isn't enough, as different companies have different products I would class as a better option than staying loyal to just 1 brand. However, the majority of the range I do use has been Juicy Detailing's with a mix of Bilt Hamber, Auto Finesse and OCD. I have a referral code to the website - https://juicy-details.co.uk/?ref=9082 With a code to use at checkout for a nice discount - Supra If anyone wants to get any advice on what I would recommend product wise I'm always happy to chat, and it's worth noting that Jay the owner actually operates a 14 day return policy for people who aren't happy with the products as he has taken that long researching and choosing ingredients for them, something no other detailing brand provides I believe. If people want to see the usage of a lot of the products, as well as how good they look after my car I'm on Instagram as Crossy_Supra Hope you're all well, and enjoy the discount if anyone decides to stock up their winter supplies! As Rider has said, there's a lot of good info on here, I had completely forgotten about my "searching for" thread, it's the link below, and theres a great amount of info on there that everyone of knowledge contributed to: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?345824-Supra-MKIV-Budget-of-25K-Manual-or-Auto-TT If you state your location aswell, you may get lucky like I did and have a member offer to show you around their Supra to explain what to look out for. Rider actually offered to show me around his, and he was only 15 minutes from me which was ideal, I learnt a lot that day and actually managed to source exactly what I was looking for whilst avoiding the very few that could have turned out to be a lot of work. Welcome! Patience is your friend whilst looking, I did exactly the same around 3 years ago and took about 5 months just keeping an eye on what was available, and then 7 months actively searching like yourself. I found as soon as I stated my budget I got quite a few offered to me of varying quality and build, some weren't actually listed for sale yet either. Enjoy the search!

I have 1 of these in reasonable condition, got a few of the pins aswell but not a complete set. Not a clue what they're worth but I can get it out of the protective packaging in the loft haha. Took it off to tidy the underside of the bonnet and respray and never put it back on

Hi guys. Beginning to price up and source all the bits I need for an R154 conversion. If anyone has anything suitable drop me a message or PM. Would be willing to buy it all bit by bit, or as a complete package depending on what parts they are and what condition they're in. Cheers!

wanted Leather Gator for Tiptronic, with replacement gear stick
Crossy replied to Crossy's topic in Parts Wanted
I'm not concerned what people think of the Tiptronic honestly, I was it's own critic when I first picked it up, but God it changed my mind on it quickly. Absolutely no different to a flappy paddle system when I put it in manual mode (Its always in Manual mode mind...) Its simply just for shows so that I can chuck it over and have to chat less with people who aren't overly interested in what I have to say, because they wont be intelligent enough to notice haha. Everyone the last 2 years I've met have been massively impressed by it aswell, I mean who doesnt love a Supra ride anyway mind! Appreciate all the comments though. I've just been picked up as a sponsor for Juicy Details aswell on a lighter note, 1 of a few lucky people from over 1000 applicants they had to sift through. Discount code will be with me soon and I'll post it in here on a much more relevant thread -

Yeah it was Mike's old one. Only met him twice, once to view it, once to buy it. Really nice guy though! The car was spotless when I bought it, and has only got cleaner as I've taken parts off to get to hard to reach areas, the underside is crazy clean for its age. Have owned it 2 years now, man time passes quickly... -

Absolutely love that, such a small world! Honestly made up with mine and love the Tiptronic system way more than I thought I ever would, especially as the Supra slowly develops part by part over the months as time passes, but that conversation with people really does grate on me at shows. I end up getting so fed up of explaining the whole process I plan to go through to people who stop listening half way through; just hoping a cover will defer that conversation at least. The colour of DJG always amazes me in pics and even more so in person. Has to be up there as nicest colour especially in the sun -

Completely agree. Have had the discussion of Manual v Tiptronic discussion and most people who have the understanding of cars completely agree. Even shocked myself how much I enjoy using it when compared to how fast I believed I would want to swap boxes. I just cant go through another show season of having some little bastard with a Financed Fiesta putting their hands on the car pearing through the window to say "Uhhhhh it ain't Manual" haha. Just means I dont have to have the conversation with the uneducated! Any true Supra fan would notice the shape of the area around the gear stick anyway even with a leather gator over it. It's something I have made my mind up on though after seeing someone who has 1 this show season just gone, looked so tidy! Just wish I could remember who it was haha. Thanks anyway though mate! All the best. -

I have a Tiptronic system in my Supra... Decided I'm going to be "That Guy" and get a leather cover for it with a replacement stick for shows, as I'm sick of people pressing up against the window staring through and ignoring the rest of the car Saw a really clean set in someone's car over the last year at a show and can't remember at all who's it was or where it was from! Any information as to where I can get these would be welcome. Have actually enjoyed my Tipteonic system a lot more than I thought I would have so have delayed the switch to a manual box in preference of saving some money towards a few things on my house haha. Thanks! -
Very sad news to hear. Also never met Rob but he was always so helpful over message, the work he put into the badges was second to none to give us owners another option for badging. Hope all involved with him on a closer basis stay strong and stick together including family and friends

I've sent a few of the pics over to the people that have asked, if anyone else wants to see what we have drop me a message! Few screenshots are attached just down to file size issues for the originals

Yeah he's 2 for 2 now haha. I have some good pics of your car mate, if you drop me a PM with your email on I'll fire them across at some point!

J700WHP was Gareth who was on the AutoNation stand with us, Silver with Ridox kit and big wing. He got given a Section 59 haha. No problem on the organisation part guys, was happy to sort it, as was Gareth who ran the Autonation stand we ended up moving onto. Next show I'll be at is Japanese Performance Show at Stoneleigh Park, there's a stand already set up for that one
-
No problem at all! Glad you enjoyed it mate
-
It's ok, the autonation stand and every other stand is having this problem aswell. They forgot to include a lot of our stands on the original map layout and had to do a revision. I imagine this is just another balls up on their part, if anyone questions you tomorrow just remind them of the map and that you're in section L as part of Autonation

It was more as a solution for the cosmetic side of mine after a few years of road use, polish only gets you so far Just figured if I'm going to go for it, I may as well use something meant for the job!

Here's an interesting one for you. Has anyone painted their FMIC? Been thinking it will need a specialist sort of paint that provides good heat dispersion rather than something that will conduct heat or stop heat passing out so easily... Anyone used anything particular? Thinking Satin Black if I had the choice of finish!

Dropping you a PM with the organisers contact details mate

Hi mate. There definitely is, can't remember who set it up but there's a fair few going
