Planning to start servicing this weekend. It’s the first time I’ve ever serviced the car. Have got all the fluids and standard tools so hopefully be ok. Planned on doing the diff, 6spd and engine oil plus brake fluid, any advice on easy pitfalls for the supra appreciated. Theres a slight diff oil leak too (I think) so is there anything else I should check there? Thanks in advance

Purchase with the heart more and more as prices rise. Looked at loads of higher performing cars (stock anyway) before joining the club and none raised the same smile. The attention as mentioned above is way more than I expected too. The only Supra I imagined owning was a manual over the years though. Maybe it was the f+f movies cutting to the downshift from an unusually high gear in the middle of every race that I can’t shake I was lucky to be able to stretch to +10k essentially just for a gearbox but it had to be a manual.

Stock love What do you call the red side lights on the back bumper? One has a scuff so I wanted to get a new one. Some minor paintwork and service next up.

I have a set of stock 17s to put on soon and the current advans have new super sport 4s all round. The geometry is spot on for the road now had it all re done. With the radio, it used to show me all the Japanese landmarks that were supposedly there, was a cool feature when you’re driving around. Unfortunately I must’ve hit the wrong button now as it’s quiet, if anyone can read Japanese or knows of a translation somewhere that might be helpful.

So it’s currently with boost controller @1.1 bar, could there be any build up of heat issues with the cats left in at that level? I’m guessing (second time lucky) still a decent gain to be had going decat?

Am I still allowed noob questions hope so... I was wondering what catalytic converters were likely left (from what you can see here) on this? My noob guess is the second one is removed with that exhaust installed. I just wanted to try and save some time taking it all apart if others can easily see some are missing/there.
