  1. Calendar arrived yesterday. Top work as always! Thanks Ellis, Mark and anyone else involved. I even had my car on a big picture this year- my life is now complete.
  2. Hamilton

    20 years!

Happy anniversary to you both! You’ve got a gem there. Glad to hear you won’t be selling.
  3. 1. mark blythe x1 2. Ellis x3 3. Suprakeith x1 4. Ian & Jackie x3 ( can we collect from NEC?) 5. mwilkinson X2 6. Bradh_15 7. Peter P x1 8. Wile e coyote x2 9. tayr (please add haribo) 10. Hamilton x1
  4. Sure does. I like the bumper but if anything happened to it I’d likely go back to something more OEM. Great work on your RSP build by the way- I’ve been following along each weekend!
  5. Glad to help! I’m not massively keen on the sidelight “blob” either but it’s usually not very noticeable. Think the light is just picking it up in that picture. Hope all goes well.
  6. Not many good ones but I can try to get some next time the car is out. Found this one:
  7. Mine are UK glass ones. I split them, painted the inserts (satin black rather than the dark grey) and added some polished rings from Noz. Like you I was seriously worried about potentially ruining a good set of UK headlights, but having done it I love them and would never want to go back to the all-chrome inserts.
  8. @keron was looking into manufacturing replacements recently. Don’t know if anything came of it however.
  9. Sorry for the late reply. I’ll be in the convoy too all being well.
  10. There’s also these guys in Germany who are 3D printing a number of interior trim pieces. Website is in German so have Google Translate on standby. https://www.turboloaded.com/en/produkt-kategorie/toyota-supra/
  11. I’ve bought my ‘Saturday only’ ticket. Is there such thing as a ‘Saturday only’ food and drink ticket?
  12. I’ll be doing the Saturday only too. I like the idea of a big Supra convoy in the morning.
  13. Lovely car and a fair price. Hope it goes to someone who looks after it as well as you do.
  14. CBS Racing list them available new. Not cheap though.
  15. Fantastic work. I don’t know how you tracked them down but those lock barrel part codes and websites are incredibly helpful- I’ve just done some ordering from the States and, hopefully, will soon have a working boot lock at last. Great write-up, thank you.
  16. Love looking through threads like these.
  17. Yet another mk4 vs mk5 test, but a good watch nonetheless. Anyone know the owner of the yellow car or the spec of it? It sounded good- BPU presumably.
  18. There are quite a few threads discussing RHD to LHD conversion on supraforums.com. Long story short: no one seems to go through with it due to the cost and availability of parts. Buying LHD in the first place seems to way to go I’m afraid. All the best with your search.
  19. I got mine new from Amayama a few months ago. Still available apparently. https://www.amayama.com/en/part/toyota/0852252010
  20. Great to see a Supra saved! Congratulations on the buy and please keep us posted on the progress.
  21. Quite a good guide here. I did my dash panels in Halfords matt black and was very happy with the colour match and finish. Preparation is the key.
  22. All the best with the search. If you’re worried about thieves then remember they are usually opportunistic, so anything you can to to conceal the car or make it difficult to get off the drive (e.g. blocking it in) will go a long way. Just a warning- a lot of Aerotops leak in the rain, especially now the seals on them are old, so replacing the seals may be a job that needs doing sooner rather than later if it’s to live outside. Seals can still be bought new.
  23. The part number for the plastic boot trim piece that goes between the lights is 64716-14162-C0. It’s discontinued from Toyota unfortunately, as are all the other boot plastics. Removing it is fairly easy but you need to remove the roof holder brackets first. They are just held on by two Phillips head screws each side, which can be accessed by popping off the little plastic cover from the top of the bracket. Be careful as these are thin and probably brittle- I broke one of mine but fortunately these are still available new. After that it’s just a case of popping out the plastic caps on the trim panel to access the screws holding the panel to the body. Hope you manage to find a replacement.
  24. I still use them a lot. They’re still going strong with the Supra work but do a lot of BMW tuning as well these days.
  25. Thanks for the tips everyone- all good suggestions. I’ll definitely check the connections but have a feeling I’m going to end up just living with it. I do know the sensor works for what it’s supposed to as the front crank seal failed a couple of years back and the yellow light warned me, so I’m not too worried. Just a bit annoying to have a light that shouldn’t be on when using the handbrake!
