  1. I dont think I have seen a Supra yet with all 4 tyres the same size. Im not talking about 18" wheels. You have to figure Width by the wall of your tyre and figure it up. Gimme 2 min and I will dig up the Excel calculator.

    Greddy gauges

I will try and post a pic up later tonight. Ive got a Greddy tranny Temp guage in the AC slot and Greddy Fuel Psi in the old clock slot. -J
  3. Dont think the AFC can control the timing. I would need an ITC if I were to go that route. I really shouldnt have to worry about that unless I was really pushing the boost. My Blitz Access ECU is supposed to tweak the timing a bit though.

Tough to see cause of the glare, sorry. I do really like them though. I wanted to keep the stock black dials and green lighting, so its perfect. Looks great at night. The green lighting isnt that obtrusive as some of the white I have seen.
  5. Also, depending on wheel size two can be going faster on straights. (Usually rears larger than fronts) I did see this section on the programming where you had to enter your tyre sizes.
  6. Just had mine done yesterday. Shoulda payed more attention though...lol. If you make a clockwise (RIGHT) turn, your passenger wheels should be moving faster than your drivers side. Just think the wheels on the opposite side of where you are turning are going faster.
  7. 1. Branners 2. Supraguy 3. JamesArup 4. Supragal (if I have my car...) 5. Cashpoint 6. supra66 7. Suprababe 8. Ashley Willis 9. zap 10. MR.B (pencilled) 11. Heckler 12. Barry (not 100% sure yet) 13. NEO (+squirrel maybe) 14. Faye (Bluewater onwards) 15. Keith (Bluewater onwards, if coming ) 16. Oxygene (hopefully with new un-dented wing)
  8. Those are common to wear. Its always best to have a spare set around when changing plugs, etc in case they break. They're cheap as chips anyway.
  9. 90 quid is about equal to the price I can get from Dusty. Just curious what brand yours are? For 90 quid, I can get Blitz 850cc direct fit injectors.
  10. Exactly. I do work for the US Gov, so I can get those shipped to that same type of address avoiding VAT + Duty. Lemme know. -J
  11. Check the loom into the ECU. If theres loads of old splices covered up, would be a good indicator if someones messed about with it. That said though, there are harnesses available too... so cant rule that out entirely.
  12. Dusty @ MVP is trying to sell me the exact same setup mate. He assures a perfect fit and it says its been done loads of times. What kinda price have you got on the 850 Blitz injectors? I might be able to get a good deal from the good old US of A.
  13. Thats not entirely accurate though. The whole point of the AFC is to fine tune your existing stock fuel map. If youre trying to squeeze every once of power out, than you need a new map via the AFC or Standalone. You said yourself that you have added a Pump and FSE, so youve already changed your stock fueling. The AFC will just fine tune it for you as its most definitely needed now as well as when you decide to turn up the boost.
  14. Ok, if you say it was running rich and then since the fitted a Walbro and FSE I can only imagine it getting worse. Not to fret though! Running rich wont really hurt anything cept your plugs, but it most certainly will cause you to drop power. (your symptoms) If you have no plans on running a Big Single setup or anything wild, it can be fixed with a couple hundred quid on an S-AFCII and a little Dyno time back at Thor.
  15. Yea, 12.2 was me. Pity only 1.3 bar on 19" street tyres. Hopefully I will be pushing 1.8 on Drag Radials, come October.
  16. Back on track from everyone and their brother trying to sell you something... Do you have your graph for your AFR readings? Curious to see if you have a weak spot in your fuel map thats causing over / under fuelling and making you lose the power.

    Rain!!

Very very good point about lines in the road (paint). I was stupid enough to have my foot on the loud pedal in the wet on an on ramp to the A40 once and went over the painted lines and saw my Trac light come on into snow mode at about 60mph. Keeping in mind how much wheelspin you need for that to kick in is scary stuff at those speeds.
  18. Anyone get any footage of my slippey slidey runs? Unfortunately my first run was best and runs didnt get any better through the day as track conditions worsened. By mid-day you could actually see the little tiny pieces of rubber all over the track. Ah well.. need some drag radials!
  19. I think this is the question I get asked most, suprisingly. Loads ask how fast it goes and my answer is always the same. Most all Turbo supes can get top speed.. they just run out of gears. Some get there faster than others!

    Rain!!

Foot on gas at all coming around corners in the rain is a big no-no in my book on a big HP rwd. Second turbo is pretty much out of question as well. Keep the rpms low and it drives just fine. RLTC is something in the neighborhood of 600-650 inc install. IFAIK.
  21. Thing is, I think I was the first to buy the Racing Hart CRs on the BBS. Mine still look pristine / mint, although mine isnt a daily driver. Makes me question cleaning compounds though.
  22. Yea, tho I dont have any lights available mate. Really sorry to hear about it. Might wanna phone Leon up at JPS and see if he's got any used plastics around. He sells the UK glass ones new for about 150ea.
