  1. Should be tonight. .... anyone have a suggestion for some web hosting that I can make in the same format as Jive? The board attachment thing kinda sucks.
  2. The parking sensor noise I am talking about is separate from the "beep-beep" reverse noise you hear automatically when you place the shifter in Reverse. It varies in beep frequency depending how close you are to something, or not at all if there is nothing around. All this is on top of the reverse beeps... makes for a bleeping headache!!
  3. Some have parking sensors attached. Are you close to anything when you hear this beeping?
  4. Shanne's PC is being re-formatted by myself tonight. Once his OS is back up and running, I will get the pics transferred over. It was a great day out and was good to finally meet some of you. You were all really nice people. My favorite part of the day had to have been the Grand Tourismo style race through the tunnel!! Mad sound with the targa-top off! Next time I will be sure to bring video. Big props to Earth for not getting us lost on the backroads of London! Lets do this again soon!
  5. Not sure exactly. Mine does this once a week or so. We thought it was a faulty speedo converter, but we took it out and the car is running in KMH right now and the fault still persists. I have the car scheduled in the shop all next week to try and sort it, so I will keep you updated what I find out. I never noticed any "clicky noise" though.

  7. Cost me $180 USD for all three volumes directly from Toyota USA. They are actually pretty damn good, I was very suprised to find the electric manual in full color coded schematics to match the wire colors. Definitely a good buy.
  8. Well, my Veilside nose cone looks to have good ducting to force air into the FMIC / Radiator. Leon @ JPS should be doing the work, so going from other's feedback about them I have some confidence it should be ok. I'd just rather hear it from someone with a big FMIC like the 'R' spec and their experiences. And no.. I dont want to lose my AC!
  9. Dont meant to hijack this thread, but this discussion has me worried about some mods I have planned in the near future. One includes Hybrids and an 'R' spec FMIC. Will this intercooler block the intake to the radiator enough to worry about cooling problems? I dont want to spend a ton of cash in mods only to be forced into cooling problems, and therfore more $$$ spending.
  10. I think its pretty common to hit fuel cut with BPU. I have an Apexi intake with HKS Hiper exhaust and easily hit cut mashing into the throttle. Amazing how much more air flow you get from such a simple upgrade.
  11. No one knows what this is for? My manuals from Toyota USA are not due to arrive until a week or two, so any help would be appreciated.
  12. Ok, was poking around the engine bay today and saw this. Not sure if there is a relay missing or this is normal. I tried a search, but came up with nothing. Anyone know what is missing here? This is located on the driver's side on the wall located between the strut brace and where the stock Air Intake should be. Maybe this is related to this weekend's problems? Thanks!

  15. Ah, such a nice weekend it was. I took the Supe up to Bristol Friday night and stayed over in Cardiff until today. Had a great trip, smoked a biker on a Katana 600 and a few other 4 banger ricers. The car drove all the way up like a dream.. smooth ride, no problems at all. First problem was leaving the hotel in the morning, I started the car and the Trac Cont off light was flashing in a constant interval every couple seconds. The car drove perfectly normal without problems. Later, I turned off the car and it went away. Saturday night, I went to move the car in the car park and I started it up no problems then backed out of the space.. once I put it in drive it flashed once again. Then, I came up to a tight corner and had to back it up to clear the side. When I placed it in reverse, the tranny did not shift!! The lever moved into "R", but there was nothing there. I could gas the engine without moving anywhere. I then placed it in park, turned off the ignition, then turned it back on. The Trac Cont off light extinguished and then backed into Reverse as normal. Today, I started it and drove it all the way from Cardiff to London without any problems with a couple pit stops on the way. I did try a search, but what I came up with was a few people with O/D light flashing. This was not the case at all. Only the Trac Cont off flashed, but more worryingly was the fact it wouldnt go into reverse the one time. Anyone have something similar happen?? The car has an Auto box FYI.

  17. Just picked up my Supra TT yesterday, and when playing with the car on the M25 I noticed the exact same thing. This has me worried to hell! A few times, just above 4k RPM, when the second turbo was kicking it would "lag" or stutter a bit. Whats this fuel cut everyone is talking about? Why is it doing this, and what is to be done about it? Ive got an Apexi induction and HKS exhaust, but have no boost guage to monitor my turbos. Advice would be appreciated!
