  1. Quite pathetic, you should be ashamed to joke about such a tragedy!
  2. I'm another human shield Oldest brother is a vibrator tester
  3. Great stuff, especially the homo soap!
  4. Did the larger UK Spec brakes ever become standard fitment on the later J Spec TT's ?
  5. Hi and welcome, very nice car! How do you find the tiptronic compared to any other auto's that you may have driven? Do you use the buttons on the steering wheel very much?

Most certainly, 1996 was the year when the facelift took place. As also mentioned earlier a 1999 Twin Turbo should also have the VVTI engine. He's a waste of space! Would be good if a local member could check this car out?

Have you asked him for the number on the VIN plate so you can check the month of manufacture?
  8. Think you may need to order some more of that wax as you'll be using a hell of a lot of it.

  10. You might have to get the curbing sorted out at the usual re-furb places then get the wheels re-chromed at a platers. It is possible though that the platers could do it all. Do a search on yellow pages under Electroplaters.

I agree, saw that ad this morning, things just didn't add up, it's definitely got a pre-facelift front bumper and front wings? Were any red mk4's manufactured in 1999? Surely if he does know about Supra's, why doesn't he say it's a vvti?
  12. In one word...tacky! You did ask.
  13. Would prefer red or silver. Looks bloody long in that photo though! 4.7m!
  14. Some cars they work on, some they don't.
  15. You've got the car sorted, ready to import?
  16. Didn't read the post properly, thought the problem was getting it on the lift for inspection.
  17. Surely it's just your front spoiler that's too low? What's wrong with some bits of wood?
  18. Nah, won't be your brakes if it only happens when turning the wheel.
  19. Just make sure you check the fluid level first. It probably is on it's way out but will last for a few miles yet. No worries though, if you do have to replace it, I'm sure you'll pick a second hand one up on here. You've still got a bloody nice looking car though for a very nice price!
  20. Maybe it's just hard to hear when you're moving because of the road noise etc. If this groaning noise is present when not moving the steering or just moving it gently, I would say you definitely need a new pump. Best to get one before the metal debris from it damages the rest of the power steering system.
  21. Yes, the power steering fluid could be low, there could also be air in the system. The pump could be on it's way out but no car likes power steering on full lock when it's stationary.
  22. Must be this one? 23. To be honest, I don't think they look too bad on some cars.
