1. Ok, thank you, I think I may just try to get hold of another fan already wired for 240,
2. Just seen you bought my old Supra!!!! Hope you're enjoying it?, I miss it I'd like to buy it back one day
3. Hi, I'm making a spray booth and bought this fan as the motor is out of the air stream. While trying to wire this motor to single phase (as apparently it can be run on both supplies) I'm stuck with the wires coming out of the electrical box, as I've not seen these on any of the guides i've read for other motors? I understand that I need to use a capacitor for startup which I am looking into but I am unsure on how to wire this now. Any help with this is greatly appreciated! some pics below thanks
4. I've been out in this car, pretty much 10 years ago to the day! hp has near doubled now
5. This is your best advice, the only other thing I would consider is something that can be insured under classic car insurance, so have a look at some retro honda's if you like that sort of thing? or look across all makes/models as you may even make money on the car when you come to sell up, you'll look different to the crowd of your age ( in a good way) and it could save a packet over a couple of years to put into a car you really want
6. Not bad!!! I've bought into XEL this morning and some more on solo, that's been up to 0.80 today
7. I haven't got any xel but i've had SOLO oil for maybe a year now, got an average buy of 0.35, not that much on it, maybe £500 or so, I missed closing and buying back in a 1.30 but i'm staying in for long term
8. I've still been trading forex, the yen pairs and gold have been trending nicely lately, I've found the dow too volatile to trade short term so only dabbled with that earlier this year, but if the majority are still shorting the way to cause the most pain is to keep pumping it higher, I used to try to find tops in the market etc but you're best off always going with the major move
9. Damn, some of you guys are seriously lucky!, majorly jealous! I think I'd need a 500k house just to get into the bracket of a decent sized garage
10. Nice, go get your dream car
11. I absolutely loved my mk3, If I could find another 1g I'd buy one again, though a 1j would be very nice, mine drove so nicely and the steering feel was spot on, a lot better than the mkiv imo.
12. I was in the same position as you 13 years ago, I ended up waiting till I was 21 to buy a tt6 and I'm pretty sure that even though I wasn't completely reckless in the car,(I had respect for it from day 1) if I had paid out a stupid amount for insurance at 18 I'd have crashed it, been banned (most likely) or worse. N/a or tt its too much at that age on the road and a waste of money, it's not about driver skill or anything here, but the urge to put your foot down and do stupid things takes over as a teenager let alone your twenties. If I could do it all again, I'd have forgotten the supra for now, saved the majority of the money and bought something rwd for track use/drifting or a lower powered rwd to replace your corsa(eunos or bmw) and don't spend ££££'s on the insurance. It's not what you want to hear but I've been there and done it, I seriously regret not working my way through the ranks of rwd cars and starting off with much cheaper cars. Though my best advice would be to not bother with a second car, keep your 10k locked away till you're 21, save £400 and do a drift tuition day at santapod, do that a couple of times, then reassess then, there's no rush. Cars will take over your money from this age, I've wasted a sh*t load and it's screwed me completely now, save towards buying a property where you can have a nice drive/garage to play around with cars on for years to come Last point as I really don't want you to make the same mistakes as me, if you've not saved that 10k yourself then you'll have no real regard to that sort of money in your account and how long it takes to save and appreciate it, I wish I had given myself the challenge to double it before spending a penny.
13. Nice buy This will surely be a great purchase for the next owner once you've finished!!! I jest but it would be nice to see you keep it for a long time
