  1. Found another pipe linked out!! See pic for detail. This one is at the front of the engine down low. Is this all that is likely to have been done for a true twin mod? OR is there more still hidden away? Thanks for your help. Regards Chris
  2. It looks ok. I think it is the correct item i am looking at. It sits between the first turbo and the block, looks like a can with a leever in the bottom. Is this correct?
  3. None. It's a standard UK TT 6spd. Is there likely to be other little bits done to compliment that mod, i had a look but nothing has jumped out at me. Cheers Pete.
  4. Back now after playing. I did'nt notice much difference between the setups, it feels slightly smoother with the correct setup. I could hear a slight flutter noise when i floored like something was pressure releasing or a valve was pulsing. What might that be? Anyone know if this is normal? Cheers again.
  5. Oh!! I read a bit about how to do that and it did'nt look that easy!! If i replace them will it cause any probs?? Also why would someone have done this and not returned it to normal, is it masking another fault! Thanks.
  6. I was having a look at the engine when i spotted this mod. It looks like the 2 hoses have been removed from a sensor and then joined together. See pic for more detail. What is it??? Thanks.
  7. If you look at the lights you will see a little cut out on the back edge. Just prise it up gently.
  8. No. All you have to do is leever the light off from behind. Be carefull not to chip the paint. I used a large flat blade screwdriver and put a bit of tape on the paint work so it did'nt scratch. You might find the new ones need slight modification to fit. I had to shave a bit off the clips so they popped in properly. Anyway HAVE FUN!!
  9. Hello heckler, I have had a similar problem recently with hessitation when flooring it, have you considered a miss fire due to bad plugs, I am currently looking at changing my plugs to a slightly colder grade to see if it clears up. I have a UK spec TT on stock setup. Hope this is of some help.
  10. Hello again lads, Thanks for the help. It is mainly noticable when booting it in 3rd @4krpm between the two turbos if that makes sence. It stutters back and forth all the way up and then is still there when i have changed up. I also just caught the ! warning light flicker For asplit second but no other light with it and there is no ECU code stored. It seams to be ok when driving sensibly just when it is floored it coughs. Cheers again.
  11. HELLO everybody!! Help required please. Recently when flooring it I have noticed some holding back or stuttering between the turbo change over as if the accelerator is being pumped up and down. It is a stock setup (NO MODS) and the plugs are only 20k miles old. Could it be that the weather is getting hot and causing problems or are the plugs likely to be playing up????? Also can I go one grade colder on plugs even though the setup is standard or will this be problematic. What would you recommend?? Thanks.
