  1. Power seatbelt retraction thingy?
  2. Hmm, nobody's asked the obvious question: Why are you fondling your exhaust? I know some of you are VERY attached to your cars, but there's no need to go *that* far, if ya get my meaning....
  3. Oh I thought for a moment you'd taken your new spoiler off Best bet would be go to a bodyshop and get it fillered in nicely and painted over. Get them to save some paint for when you de-spoiler it completely
  4. Spoilers too small and understated.
  5. As we've had legal action threatened by this person when we mention him, can we not counter-threat him with it? Or is that just bowing to his silly games and indulging the pervert further? Maybe one day he'll get a girlfriend / boyfriend / animalfriend and won't have so much time to annoy people.
  6. Don't think the originals had VVTi, mine is a 93......
  7. And mine. It's luvverly. Another good reason to rag the tits off it.
  8. I've had 90mph out of mine, going past a primary school. I would have gone faster, but I had a number of small children and grannies stuck in the wheelarches, plus I spilt my beer. Normally I'd do this sort of speed on the motorway, but there's speed cameras there and I might have got caught.
  9. SP9000s on my car..........much better than the semi-perished Dunlop Formulas (Japanese only tyres) that were on there before. Would recommend them to anyone with a Supra.
  10. You ask someone who has a copy and a CD burner nicely.... I think there's one kicking around on this BBS that's been copied so much it's gone see-through... I don't have one though, because I don't even know where my engine is. If I have one at all.
  11. It gets faint, you should still be able to see it. Same goes for the lights on the fan / air-con bit.
  12. How about making your avatar circular? It drives me nuts.....not because they're 3 spokes, but because it's all lumpy....
  13. What can I say? Armenian sailors pay better than potheads, don't they Brad?
  14. I can provide something for the weekend at a most reasonable price. Broccoli or otherwise.
  15. Bling! Latrell Sprewell can do you chromed wheels with those centre freewheeling bits for about $150 a corner. But you'll have to send them to NYC and back.
  16. Amen - avoid the mobile installers, the guy who came to fit mine on a previous car came with everything he needed to do the job......except the actual alarm that made the noise! I tried for a good 6 months to get him back out / get my money back, and never did. Took the Supra to a very good stereo / alarm fitter in Ipswich, took him all day (in fact, it was a year to this very day, September the 11th, where were you, I was getting my car alarm and stereo fitted) and for a very good price.
  17. Unguarded drainpipe wholesalers are a boon for the more stealthy and cleptomanic car modifiers.....
  18. I had this, and it kept getting worse. I chased the noise all over, and couldn't find it, until..... I realised it was the part of the gear knob that screws up at the bottom. Tightened it, and it miraculously stopped!
  19. Just found out my warranty doesn't run out till the 7th of next month! Fingers crossed that it's covered.
  20. Yeah - it happened to Rob! I just thank Christ that I stopped driving it when it started to make an irregular noise.
  21. Turns out it's an engine pulley - £320, if you please. It'd be easier to stomach if I wasn't going to sell it next month.
  22. I like the SP9000s too......as Al says, squealy!
  23. No, as you turn the engine off, it squeaks briefly - I assumed it was the belt stopping
  24. I think it IS the belt.......as it squaks when the ignition is turned off too.....
  25. Well, I'm going to investigate the power steering fluid first.
