If it’s the v160 I’d have it up for at least 30k -

It’s holding up fine the same as the original part , no clear coat just a few coats of the paint and to fill the hold I bonded some plastic to the back just to hold the filler. It was 2 part plastic filler image attached.

Does anyone know what the rubber to the side of the roll bar bushings are ? I can’t find a part number and I’m getting the bar blasted so I leave it on and work around it or will it be ok to remove and not put back when I poloybush . thanks

Almost finished stripping the rear subframe I’m going to get it blasted then zinc coated but don’t know if I should go powder coating or painted due to chipping. What’s everyone’s thoughts.

Yeah will be wax spraying the inside of the bay before it goes back on, I sprayed the inside (through the holes ) with the rust converter and a tube spray I had also. the breather tank pipe is abit to crusty for my liking so my mates making me one as that’s his job he makes pipes/hoses so just taking him the original and he will copy it. I expect he will be doing a few for me as I strip down further

Fuel tank out and now letting the bolts under the car sit with wd40 for a few days to start the strip down

Hydrate 80 will be going on after the deox products I have the gel for the parts I can’t submerge. Putting the towing arm in for another soak but massive improvement. I let it soak for 10 hours gave it some wire brush work and it’s come out almost rust free. The bolts are ready so have them some Hydrate 80 and will zinc coat/ paint the black ones
