Hi Guys The story is I fancied trying one but really have too many cars but I just cant help buying them Lol, As some one said I have sorted all niggles and had the car gone through plus fitted two brand new matching recaro speed seats. Ive also just bought a once in a lifetime EVO as it has had a full nut and bolt restoration which I couldn't resist, hence need the garage space. The Supra is as mad as a ShitHouse Rat and i will miss it when gone. Its about as good as they get at the price and im sure it will make someone a great car. I think I may have managed to join the forum as well now. Baz

Wow what a Supra you have -
Early start and the weather was cracking so it was time for a good run out in the car.The first thing that became so evident was how easy it was to heel and toe which is great so you can keep the Turbo spooled up.Initially I wonfdered if buying a big power single would drive me nuts but its actually very good. Even when not on boost the car is very free revving and willing to pull and a pleasure to drive! The real big plus for me in buying this car was the Ohlins suspension as Ohlins without doubt are one of the best manufactures of dampers period. You know when a car has a good set up when you have one hand on the wheel and one hand on the gear lever and it doesn't suddenly want to throw you into the hedge row on a bumpy country lane while on boost! I will get it corner weighted soon to inmprove it even more. The gear box is as as sweet as a nut and once away the clutch is easy and light to use,the ratios of the 6 just inspire you to keep changing up and down, short shifting was the order of the day to keep the traction in check! All in all the Supra has been a great find and something I've never really had on my list of cars to try.It is in the main a true hidden treasure and punches well above its weight as a super car slayer being it is a relativity unknown treasure which is great value for money. I only found this Supra when I recently sold my Hosaka GTR34 720ATWHP,it was sitting under cover at the importers and I had a quick peak, when the add went up I thought wow 600hp,looks cool and only twenty something thousand pounds, Ozz confirmed it was a good spec very clean car and as you now know the deal was done on the phone having had nothing more than a quick peak a couple of weeks earlier. When you bear in mind the GTR34 was almost 3 times the cost of the Supra the Supra is the steal of the century. Well I am truly smitten with the World of Supra's now and look forward to much more analog, RWD wheel drive turbo fun:thumbs: Next job join the club. Baz

It's Home, BIG thanks t Lee at SRD for giving it the once over and sorting a few bits out! It was a very greasy drive home and any amount of boost in the cold damp conditions provoked instant wheel spin I was surprised at the lightness and precision of the overall feel and steering as I expected the car to feel a lot heavier! It's now had a good clean and is in amazing condition for a 17 year old car! There is life after the R34 and at a fraction of the cost !

On the way to SRD for the first time, should be there by 9am:d

Yep Lee has explined some options available to improve the car. I will see how I get on and see which way we go, Lee has been very thorough and is sorting some initial niggles which will make owning the car better from the start. He's driven it and was complimentary of the drive so good news
