  1. I am just prepping the car to get it back on the road. I have always managed to live with it and the seat does work in moving forwards and backwards as required, but it seems something is missing as the long screw is just flapping around in mid air. Could someone post a picture of what it is supposed to look like and then i might 3D print myself something to fit. Thanks
  2. Appears to actually be water leaking from the connection at the back of the block/head, now that looks a bitch to get to. Think I am going to leave it leaking for a bit.
  3. Hi I seem to have a fair leak coming (a regular drip) and its only getting shuffled about on the drive at the moment, from the w58, I am going to pull the box out this week and give it a good look over, are seal still available for these units? Am i opening a can of worms that i will regret? Any advice or parts necessary info would be great.

  5. Bump, anyone smashed a light and got a spare one now.
  6. someone asked me to make a set of clips for holding the side skirts on. I did struggle a bit with the strength as they are prints obviously are a number of layers stacked up and must have got thorugh 20 versions before I was happy. I bought a flashforge Guider 2, still learning a lot on modelling (fusion 360) and printing. So far its been fun, not sure there is a viable business model in it though.
  7. Thinking of converting mine into a "ute" .
  8. Hi I first tried a corolla one that looked very similar but was too short https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Front-Right-ABS-Wheel-Speed-Sensor-For-Toyota-Avensis-Corolla-Wire-Brand-New/151432019530?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 I have current installed lexus and celica ones in and am awaiting a test run to vlaidate if they are working. i did have to modify them to get them to fit and get the sensor tip right down next to the wheel. Will keep you posted.

  11. Ok, its not the best use of a 3D printer, but upon going to put back on the passenger side sideskirt, i notice that an additional grommet was missing that sat on the body side. Couldnt remeber for the life of me whether i kept them or destroyed them take the sideskirt off. TAKE MORE PICTURES AS YOU GO!!!!! Anyhow, my new 3D printer has come to the rescue. Anyone else out there made any bits on 3D printers?
  12. Still actively rebuilding, it seems for every piece i take off and fix there are another two replacing it, or another piece underneath that i want to sort out. I really must get it MOT'd and back on the road this year, whatever the condition.
  13. £500, you cant kid me, I know what an ultra rare option this was!
  14. Hi All I am working my way through a few fixes on the Supra and have always hated the additional fan hanging off the boot lid for clearing the rear screen. Last night i did some digging and unearthed that the power supply for the add on fan was simply coming from the disconnected rear screen heater. A few continuity checks shows that the majority of the heater element is now missing, hence the replacement with the butt ugly add on fan. Is is possible to fix the element, there is alot missing, its not just like one line that has blown, although there are lines the electrical part seems to have been removed. Does a new screen come with the heater element?. Alternatively, i am looking at making a new rear trim cover with a fan incorporated, anyone else interested in one if this is a common problem with a typical expensive Supra fix. Regards Adrian
  15. I have been investigating an oil leak down the side of the engine, culprit seems to be the o ring on the distributor shaft. Anyone know if you can get a new one. Had a look on Toyodiy and the seems to be no specific part.
  16. Help, two dead ABS sensors, no resistance across them at all. What are the options these apart from ABS delete? I only found out when I had the dashboard apart and noticed a dodgy twisted together wire, fixed that, and on came the ABS light. I would like to sort it properly if possible rather the cutting the wire again, lol. Anything kicking around second hand, or any new options.
  17. Its ok I will live without it for now. one of these days I will find someone with a smashed light but an intact rubber seal.
  18. Slight hijack, but do you know if you can get the seal that goes around the outside of the rear lights, been after one for ages.
  19. I was chasing one for mine, didn't get anything second hand, Brand new from Mr T, was about £270 I seem to recall.
  20. I see SRD are doing ECU master with their base model at just over £600, brand new modern spec, anyone using one of these, I am considering it in my NA-T thoughts. https://www.srdtuning.com/product/ecu-masters-emu-classic/
  21. Hi I am upgrading to clear front indicators on my 95 from the stock oranges. The parts i have bought say it fits the existing loom, which it does not in my case. I cant seem to find what connectors i need. The closest i have come is a BA15s from fleabay, however i cannot find any dimensions to confirm the sizes, and they are obviously 2 different sizes in any case. Anyone know what i need exactly, or have an old damaged loom they would cut them off and sell to me. Thanks Adrian
  22. mine just took forever, bleed and re bleed, and eventually a slug of crappy fluid through and that was it, brakes working perfectly.
  23. You would definitely need to slacken off the fuel tank straps that hold it in place to get the pipes up to the connections on the top of the tank. And pretty sure you would need to drop the subframe, though again you might just be able to slacken one side and remove the other to drop it down to slide them over. If you went braided flexibles then you could thread them through ok without all that effort.
  24. Lets not forget that petrol and diesel are not the only products that are made from a barrel of oil that comes out of the ground, any thoughts about the gas that comes out too, back to electric cooking and heating?. These multinational giants will still want to sell this stuff as part of their portfolio of chemicals, plastics etc. I am all for a pure and clean world, but i do live in the real world where the practicalities of living purely on green electricity for an ever growing population demanding more and more power for their electric gadgets, is more mind boggling than my 3l straight six powered brain can cope with. Its not going to be long before the electric cars are taxed just the same, its simply unsustainable from a revenue point of view for the country.
