  1. Thanks for organising Trick. Had a blast and the food was good too! It was good to meet everyone - now I just need the small detail of actually getting the Supra (I hear its a key component of being a member of the "Supra Owners Club") and coming down to a few meets!
  2. Oh sugar have I put the deposit down too late??? I have just sent you a PM Trick I have only just seen this! Hope I can grab a spare seat
  3. hahaha I love how quickly that shot up! I woulda bought Squiffy's silver Supra for that price, so nevermind! Ill let you all know if I get a reply regardless, all info is useful especially if someone on here is buying
  4. Heyup guys, Ive seen this auction on Ebay for a tt6 - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1993-Toyota-Supra-twin-turbo/282253412291 Im tentative about bidding since DVLA reckons the thing hasn't got an MOT - does anyone know the owner of the car? Im very interested to find out more, possibly pay a visit before the auction ends. Cheers.
  5. Sign me up! I have been rather quiet recently due to real life drawing me away from the computer... but I will not be missing this! 1. TrickTT + 1 2. ShawnPreece (possibly plus 1 I shall see ) 3. Axl and the trouble and strife 4. Pete + Vicki 5. CorruptSapphie + 1.25 6. Walkerstrider 7. Action Jackson
  6. Not really in the market until next year... but the bumper, colour and price of this are making me seriously consider taking a gamble...
  7. I have never seen any of these talked about! Would love to come if I had details I think people have started to post again now so i should be able to make December at least.
  8. Saw it from afar (hard to miss in that orange ) Anyone on here?
  9. Sure - im the same happy to travel up to an hr from where I live its no biggie for me.
  10. Certainly not... especially considering we had so much interest in the other thread I honestly dont mind when/where it is - but people remain silent so its difficult to meet requirements that are not identified!
  11. I really didn't mind the new BBC TG... it was still a decent car program in its own right, maybe not as spectacular as these boys but it was still a lot of fun to watch. Itll be even better next season now that Chris Evans has now left. I liked that they were *actually* reviewing cars and testing different things rather than just pissing about for an hour. Im sure the GT will be great too though... ill just watch both
  12. AHH youre the one that pinched it!! Excellent looking car, I was very close to booking a viewing on this. Welcome to the club
  13. I am booked on to two track days currently: Oulton Park on Saturday 26th Nov Rockingham Speedway on Saturday 10th Dec (UNSILENCED!! ) If anyone is looking at coming to either please do let me know I have a garage booked at both and often like to share since they're so massive.
  14. That's a very nice looking car! Bargain of a price too. Congrats to the new owner Really nice to keep it "in the family" so hopefully it'll be well looked after for many years to come!

  16. Apologies about the late post I have been struggling to get online in the day lately but will keep an ear out in future!
  17. I had this problem during my PhD (I was paid a monthly stipend which is a non-taxable income, so to banks I earnt "nothing"), all the big kids don't want to play but if you go to a financial advisor/broker they SHOULD be able to sort you out Property is always the first go to, especially if you're North of the Watford gap. Failing that, it would be the Getrag or gold for me!
  18. Welcome! Do you have any photographs? We love photos
  19. Hi guys, So I have no idea where everyone is from in the midlands, so I just picked somewhere that I know does good food and is close to me! If people think there is a better suited place then please do speak up, I am new to all of this My suggested restaurant is "Out Of India" which used to be my local curry house when I lived in Shepshed. It is just off of the M1 so it is well connected if you can hit the M1 easily. I know that from Leics it is only 30 minutes and Notts, Derby or the edge of Brum is more like 40 minutes (traffic dependant of course). I will book us a table once I have numbers for 7 o clock so people have plenty of time to get away from work and make the trip down. Does this sound OK to everyone? Please do drop a post in here saying if you're coming so I can make the appropriate booking.
  20. I would love to get together with a few members of the forum, even in dailys! If you could shout about the next one with location and time please I would definitely try and attend
  21. I cant attend the NEC show as I move house in early November and the whole thing needs redecorating top to bottom - the weekends will be at a premium for me unfortunately! I will make a new thread now with an event
  22. Theres a silver Supra parked on the grass verge at the top end of Alan Moss Road. Seen it both times on the way home from work since I started my new job - lovely bit of eye candy! I know about Walkerstider's on Old Ashby tucked away on the driveway too.
  23. I bet there was some squeeky bum time for the team in the garage though! Excellent driving from both though
  24. Plenty went on, I really enjoyed it. Was refreshing to see Vettel own up too - hes really matured!
