1. So 10k sounds about right for a tt auto?
2. Right.. So after creeping about on the forums for many months now (and the fact my company car is soon going back) it think now is the time for me to get a Supra. There's this TT Auto for sale on Ebay for £9K http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/182401555791 And there's also this beautifully done do luck style supra on eBay for £15K http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222361765585 Anyone recognise either of those off the forums? Ideally I'd want to buy off another forum member. Car will end up being a daily driver but I will do some work to it. Basic things like Undersealing etc.
3. Cheers mate. I've been trying to find a seller but i cant find where to buy one in the UK. Guess I'll just ask in the wanted parts section or go with a Seibon carbon bonnet if i cant get one.
4. Can anyone identify the style name. Cant find it anywhere. Cheers
5. Good stuff!!! When it's done upload to to YouTube and share it with the world haha. It sounds absolutely amazing. Good luck with the build mate and I cannot wait to see the finish product especially if its going to be like Malcolms.
6. LOL thank you for the advice. The thing is, im 22, so I've been told UK Spec is cheaper to insure. If i can get a J spec TT and I can get it insured between £2k-£3k I'll take it. Insurance is the main struggle so I've prepared for it. I've been driving a company car for 2 years so thats how I've gotten away with it thus far.
7. My Plan for this year: Buy a UK Spec AUTO TT. Get insured And the main things I plan on doing to the car is: Undersealing Engine bay clean up Interior refabrication Led lights rear Halo lights front. Alloys and tyres. Body kit Paint/wrap (depending on how bad paint is) Not really looking to go BPU+++ because it will be my first Supra so I'll take it easy and get used to the platform. Hope you've all had a good Christmas and happy late new year

I dunno i kind of like it. Especially the back in black. Looks like a jet.

True. From the spy shots of the new Supra im not all that excited about. Also i don't know how to feel about there being a BMW engine in the car or anything to do with BMW in the car. I would rather they called the "New supra" a Toyota FT-1 rather than ruin the legendary Supra name.

471bhp and 371 lb/ft torque. But this is the thing. This is the "normal version". There will probably be a Lexus LCF.

This is coming this year. I personally love the aggressive styling. Has a NA V8 with a 10 speed automatic. Will this be the soarer of our time
12. As a Supra novice, best thing I could do is follow Mawbys guide and take a mechanic with me to help give the car a good once over.
13. I have found this information before on the forum and would like some members to confirm it for me. I was speaking to a friend who said the insurance groups have changed in their definitions but this shouldn't affect the Supra? As far as I am aware the Supra is a Group 19 insurance car for NA and TT. So i wanted to ask did anyone have any troubles getting insured because of the fact the insurance group is hard to determine? I'm 22 and live in Berkshire. Hopefully when it comes to it I should be fine.
14. Yeah thanks for that. Ive joined the forum a bit ago but I've literally just been reading thread after thread on the Supra. I'll be buying one in a few months and hopefully one off the forums. Also i did a search on a plate of a Supra on ebay and it came back with 9 previous owners. I know Supras are old cars but 9 owners?? Rang a few alarm bells for me.
15. Hi guys. So I've seen this on eBay for sale, and I swear its been on and off there for a year, I have notifications on for Supras everytime a new one gets listed and this always gets relisted. (im planning on buying one in April next year hopefully). I did more research on the seller on the forum and its apparently the dodgey high Wycombe lot. :/ That body kit and those wheels should be enough to scare anyone away. Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272491178034
16. They look very similar to XXR 521s. Can anyone recommend me some nice stud type multispoke split alloys or even better, identify these for me. Cheers
17. Hi guys. I've seen a few members on the forums with custom LED rear lights and I was wondering are there any shops you know of that offer the service of converting the stock lights to the LED ring pattern? There are some LED Supra rear lights on Whiffbitz but they are almost £1200. Would love them but I also need my kidneys . I have seen a guy in America (MLR Customs) who made a really nice Lambo style rear cluster. (see attached image). Cheers.
18. Hi, you need to be a member to post about wanted parts in the "wanted section" that can be found on the "forum" tab at the top of the page. To become a member go to your profile settings at the top of the page and go to your subscription tab. From there you can activate your membership to have access to full posting privileges. Membership prices are detailed there.
19. Ok so let's just say you have about £5000 to spend and you wish to buy your first ever car specifically to work on. What car would you buy? Was having this discussion with a friend of mine who's looking to learn more, so what better way than to have a project car. He is considering a 1.9 CDTI vauxhall astra hatchback, getting a blue fin chip, stainless steel exhaust. Cold air intake and a remap. Whereas I told him to look at something like a Toyota Starlet or a Civic type S. Any suggestions?
20. Yeah i think thats why im getting it to be honest. Just to experience it. I want to play GTA 5 with a VR headset on. Haha. The biggest drawback for the vive is the price. VR as a whole is still a novelty. Hopefully it becomes more mainstream and cheaper.
21. In terms of hard wiring its actually pretty easy. You'll need to identify your supras fusebox location, and then find the fusebox diagram online somewhere. Find a fuse that is rated 5A or less and is connected to something that comes on when the car is switched on. So for example find the cigarette lighter fuse. Once fuse has been identified take it out, put the wiring harness kit into it and piggy back the fuse ontop. Literally just stacks ontop. Next thing you need to do it to ground your black wire against some metal, i just undid a 10mm bolt and stuck mine under there. Plug in your live connection and test your camera works by switching on your car. Dashcam should come on itself. Then switch ur car off and dashcam will switch off after about 10 seconds. My advice to you is to buy the Nextbase dashcam series and hard wiring kit all available on amazon! Took me about 20 mins tops to install first time. Hope this helped.
22. I have a Nextbase 512g. Ill give you some specifications. Built in gps logger and maps Polar lens can be adjusted to remove glare G sensor Auto save Supports class 10 memory cards Large sensor for quality night video Records in 720 or 1080. £150 I have hardwired mine to the fusebox of my company car. The harness is sold separately but includes a piggyback fuse and converter. Some pics.
23. Hi mate Sounds like a good idea. Ive also ordered a htc vive and just completed my set up. Spent a few quid on my gaming pc. Think game reviews would be a good idea! Forza horizon 3 was just released on PC. I mainly play car games. VR can be really nauseating if you're not used to it so just giving you a heads up! Pictures of build and need for speed. 24. I heard its got the same engine as the nuclear submarine HMS ambush. Reliable source has confirmed this. Stay tuned
