  1. So I got in touch with Sam from Abacus Alarms who confirmed that the immobilizer part of the kit needed to be replaced, so I got the replacement immobilizer and installed it and the car started right up.
  2. So I got the model number of the system - Meta systems - M99T2 it seems to be an older system - The kit in that link is very similar to the kit installed in the car
  3. So I bought my supra last July with this alarm/immobilizer already installed and it worked fine for a long time, one day the plug in fob that disengaged the immobilizer stayed in the disabled state so I no longer had to plug it in each time before starting the car (central locking and alarm still functioned as normal. Before the immobilizer would normally come back on after switching the car off and arming the alarm). A few months back I had the battery disconnected for around 2 months while I was waiting for a replacement rectifier for the alternator, I reconnected the battery and the immobilizer came back online and I had the plug the circuit fob in to disengage it again which worked fine and the car started but again the immobilizer stayed in the disengaged state. So fast forward to now I had the battery disconnected again and when I reconnected it the immobilizer activated again but now when I plug the fob in it does not disengage the immobilizer and the car wont start. I am wondering if anyone has knows how to reset this or what I need to do now. The device I have in the car is very similar to this one, I am not sure of the exact model number yet. https://www.vehicletrackingtech.co.uk/meta-m43-immobiliser.html
  4. I have a slow leak in my ac condenser and I am just wondering what my options are in terms of finding one (I would prefer a new one), I haven't had any luck on ebay just yet so any other suggestions would be appreciated. Would one for a toyota aristo fit ? Thanks Michael
  5. Thankfully haven't got that kind of gesture yet lol
  6. Well so far any experiences ive had from the public have been from dudes unfortunately lol, but since I bought the car for me and me only I don't really care. Here's a list of my experiences with the car so far, owned it since late August Most pedestrians turn their heads and stare when they hear it coming. When I pull into a carpark or drive past a carpark with "car guys" parked up or out of their cars talking to each other they will generally stare at it or make hand gestures to try get a burn out from me. Had a random guy open the door and ask me about the car when I was waiting outside a shop, the guy owns like 3 mk3 supras and is looking for a mk4. People asked my dad about the car when I was waiting outside a chip shop for him one night. A group of teens outside a shop asked me about it when I was coming out of the shop. Lots of kids and teens make spinning wheels hand gestures to me when im driving it about town. Had a teenage guy with a pikachu backpack panic trying to get his phone out to snap pics of the car when I was looking for a parking space at tescos. A guy jumped out of his mates leon last night to take pictures of supra when I was parked at Tesco's helping a mate with his golf's rear wiper jet. Generally getting the attention is nice but a'lot of it I tend to ignore especially the gestures to do burn outs as its just not worth the cost of tires and the possible bother from the cops if your caught, as for racing propositions I just ignore them when they happen just cuz I don't want bother from the police and I don't want to wreck the car. I think if you want to attract women in a supra they would have to be into cars or you will have to paint your car bright pink and put eyelashes on the head lights lol.
  7. On the price comparison sites its sometimes cheaper if you say the car is kept on a secure driveway instead of the garage, also putting my mum and dad on my policy as named drivers brought my quote down a few hundred quid.
  8. Yea lol, was just looking through a bit of everything after setting up my account.
  9. My problem with them saying there are pot holes all over the lane is that if that is the case why would you be driving so fast up that lane if you are aware of the problem with it.
