    Coilovers

Looking to buy some new coilovers as no one has used for sale... What’s some decent coilovers? Been looking at tein ones but not sure if they’re any good as they’re he cheapest decent brand on the market... Has anyone got teins that can give me some feedback? I don’t have a massive budget for coilovers Other than teins, what other brands can anyone recommend?

    Coilovers

I’ll have to look into that mate, I’ve got Rear TT brakes and I need NA to fit 15” wheels So I either need to buy or swap mine
  6. I’m after some coilovers, full set/rear pair No longer need rear brakes.
  7. Bump this, weekend offer; £1500 collected. If no one takes them by Monday Im putting them on eBay
  8. I’m not sure that you need to, id assume no as it’s not compulsory to remap it after a manual conversion, just beneficial as boost by gears can be added/changed, different AFR numbers etc... Personally I’m running a stand-alone AEM infinity so I’m doing 1000cc injectors and a new map as soon as the cars back and running
  9. For the moment I’ll be using the stock a03 diff, then moving to the big tt6 diff when the funds come
  10. So, the time has come to do the cd009 manual conversion! The box arrived wednesday afternoon, i must say its incredible clean and feels nice in the shifts (lets just hope it shifts and feels as nice once its in the car ) The box came out of a 2006 53k mile 350z, price tag was - £645 I've also gone an ordered the maverick motorsports adapter, 1100lbft clutch and flywheel with hardware (Link posted at the bottom) This is my first time involved in converting an auto - manual transmission... So any tips on things i will need will be welcome! Next things on my purchase list are to find and purchase a manual brake+clutch pedal set, and a manual interior panel. Pictures, links and progress will all be posted below! https://www.maverick-motorsports.com/products/jz-vq-transmission-adapter-plate Thanks for reading Nick

    Wheel/tyre talk

Them prices are shocking to be fair, i would of thought in the year he hadn't sold them he'd of put the price up as Volk stopped making the SF challenges from what i read?
  18. Hi peeps, I’m growing bored of my wheels and I’m fairly sure they’re somewhat rare, maybe someone could tell me if I’m correct... This is what they look like - (old but best picture) https://m.imgur.com/a/gLgVXSD They are : Volk SF challange 18in Alloys Rear 18x10.5 with Goodyear Eagle f1 285-35-18 Front 18x9.5 Goodyear Eagle f1 245-40-18 (Recently refurbished) I’m looking at buying some drag wheels to run on street legal mickey Thompson’s like the US boys do, can anywhere advise some good wheels, best sizes I should go for... the car will run a 1/4 mile or two a handful of times a year so I don’t see the point in buying illegal tyres over here in the UK Thanks Nick
  19. Yeah he never got back to me for cash on collection
  20. Have seen that, the guys not got a lot of feedback and he’s got loads of high end random items like GTR engines and m3-4-5 parts
  21. Currently have a single turbo auto, looking for a 6 speed transmission kit, v160/161, t56, cd009 etc must be everything to bolt in or close to everything, can source things like a prop etc... Can be new or used if anyone can recommend a supplier for kits in the UK etc Thanks, nick
  22. For me its more of I’m tired of looking at new scratches on 26 year old paint work every day, I’ve got quite a lot of money to dish out on manual conversion etc, the ideal thing would be to repaint but just not viable for me any time soon, if the wrap ever comes off it will be for a repaint so it seems that’s the only thing people are criticising is the removing part And as of the light situation, it’s what someone said above, the MOT thing isn’t my main concern as I’ve got a decat
  23. Sounds good to me I’ll inbox you now, they all in working condition?
  24. Would you happen to have a link to it mate?
