  1. As the engine build is approaching the power goals are going up day by day, my s369sxe should only be good for just under 1000hp, looks like i'll need to go bigger... Unsure on what to go for as the sounds of the borgwarner really out-do my last turbo (precision 6266) The borgwarners are alot cheaper than the precisions which made me hesitate at first but they just perform very well, higher than my expectations if i'm honest. Just looking for some opinions as i'm right in the middle with what to get.
  2. Have all still, except the manifold and external wastegate
  3. OEM GTE Inlet manifold - £100 Power house racing fuel rail - £100 (comes with 6an lines) Single turbo 3” downpipe and midpipe (has whiftbitz 4”-3” adapter on it in the picture) - £150 collection from Harlow, Essex

    Syvecs vs link

So i've spent the last couple days researching more into it, speaking with romain etc and it just seems syvecs is far better than the other options... as i have time till i order the engine internals i can hold out waiting for an s6/s6plus to come up used, if one doesn't i'll be going brand new of course but it atleast gives me a window of waiting for cheaper to come up.

How much did it cost you all in if you don’t mind me asking? I think the s6plus is a fair bit cheaper

    Syvecs vs link

Agreed there I shot him a message regarding the same question as the post, when he has time he’ll hopefully be able to make sense of it to me

    Syvecs vs link

Most likely romain at syvecs as he’s my neighbour

    Syvecs vs link

I mean I wouldn’t call going link scrimping but I get the syvecs is better over link, just don’t know the absolute ins and outs on what the syvecs offers over the link
  9. So it’s been covered in the past but there’s new options from both Brands and with technology only advancing let’s cover it again... I’m in the process of ordering all my bits for my rebuild/forge build aiming for the 1xxx hp mark but I need to out the AEM infinity as I’m not a fan, so it needs a replacement. The new s7plus is out for syvecs but it just seems a bit out of my price range, by the time you factor in sensors, mapping and the unit it’ll be around 4.5-5k with an already approaching 20k bill it just isn’t do-able for me. Now link... they do a plug and play supra kit which im not sure on pricing maybe someone knows and I can update this post? But from what I hear they’re half the price of the syvecs unit. Any information on either brand, wether it be prices, pros and cons I’ll update the post so it can be a future guide for anyone needing to know.
  10. I have the complete cd009 setup, my only complaints are the noise/the shift feel.... Now i've been looking at the magnum-F from grannas and it'll set me back around 8k all to get rid of some noise/shift feel. My buddy darren just built his cd009 conversion and he said it sounds nothing like my one (must be due to being twin plate) and he has gone with the gktech shifter.... it feels AMAZING nothing like my shifter... Heres a video i made of how terrible my shifter is so i advise everyone to stay away from it to be honest, it was a fenfab shifter? maybe its been changed in its design if he even still makes it but the one i have is disgusting. it has no reverse lockout, shifts going across to different gears are to short, feel like your going to money shift everytime you change gear. I'll be ordering the GKTech shifter when my car goes in for engine rebuild etc and will save myself the 8K on the magnum-F
  11. Consider buying a broken one and rebuilding at jacks transmissions
  12. I figured but I’d the link still ok since I’m not trying to support them good or bad?
  13. Some good things to take onboard with the inlet manifold thanks boys.... I asked real street to “build” me a 1000hp engine and these are the parts they have laid out for me... 14. Right ladies and gentleman it’s been discussed many many times... Inlet manifolds, I want to know what everyone’s using. Hypertune is all I seem to see when trying to buy but I refuse to spend £2000 on something that I have HEARD is not required since the stock inlet doesn’t restrict any power? Maybe someone with more knowledge on the subject can shed some light on it? As after all what I’ve HEARD is internet research after all. I would like an aftermarket inlet but going for 1000hp in the future is going to cost me an arm a leg and a kidney, don’t want to throw in a testicle while I’m there On another note whilst I’ve got your undivided attention... with engine builds in the UK what compression should we build for as our fuel in comparison to the US is frankly quite shite, bare in mind I won’t be running ethanol. Would love any advice/knowledge you can put in to this post
