  1. Anyone played Fifa 17 yet? If so is it any good?
  2. I second that. Good to meet you all.
  3. Went to speak to them a few days ago! Just got a lot of w##k speak from the guy! Didn't fill me with a great deal of confidence so gonna give it a miss!
  4. Last years event looked great from the photos and videos. Works out, looking at my shifts, I'm off that weekend. I see tickets go on sale on 1st October, but and maybe I've missed something, how do I go about buying them/paying? Sorry if this is a stupid question!?!
  5. Yeah looks like Aberdeen v Rangers play at Pittodrie, 1PM Kick-off. Traffic will be nuts from about 11PM and after 3PM, as I imagine there will be huge interest in this one!
  6. James, I'll check them out, thanks! I do like bits and pieces when it comes to metal, generally the odd one or two songs from a band. It's also usually more common bands like Slipknot, Disturbed and Metallic. Haven't heard of most of the bands you guys have listed but I'll definitely give them and listen.
  7. I also find a lot of so-called boy racers thrashing it past me as though they are trying to prove something!
  8. Yeah Seethed are good. If you haven't already, try 3 Doors Down' latest album, I can't stop listening too it!
  9. Guilty pleasure I suppose! Although, I'm going to see them live in Glasgow next month!
  10. Agreed, very much a fan of them all! Had the pleasure of seeing all of them live (apart from Three Days Grace) all within the last few years. Daughtrys earlier stuff was good but no so much a fan of their newer albums!
  11. Yeah, I know, it's a bit of a random topic but I've always seen music and driving go hand-in-hand! Plus, so many people spend hundreds, sometimes thousands of pounds on ICE that it may be a worthy subject to comment on! It might be a flop topic, but you never know!
  12. So to continue along the same lines as a few other threads I've started recently, I thought I would throw this one in the mix too. Now I know not everyone is into rock music (if not, probably best to discontinue reading), but I thought it would be a good way to share bands which we may not of heard of but more importantly, present some opportunities for fellow members to meet at some gigs and share a whiskey or ten! I'm from Aberdeen so the amount of decent bands that come here is pretty dire! Generally I find myself in Edinburgh/Glasgow several times throughout the year to catch some shows. From small venues like The Garage and O2 ABC to the bigger ones like Murrayfield and the Hydro. I know rock music is a pretty general term, as there are a number of sub categories (screemo, metal, punk, old school , etc), however, my personal favourite is American Rock over the past couple of decades! So to kick things off, I've compiled a list of 10 of my favourite songs. If you haven't heard them, give them a listen and let me know what you think. If you like to cruise with the windows down and rock music playing, you might appreciate some of them! 1) Motley Crue - Kickstart My Heart 2) Puddle Of Mudd - Spaceship 3) Rise Against - Savior 4) Nickelback - Midnight Queen 5) Black Stone Cherry - Blame It On The Boom Boom 6) Hinder - Take It To The Limit 7) A New Revolution - Rise 8) Buckcherry - Gluttony 9) Hoobastank - Same Direction 10) 3 Doors Down - Still Alive Thanks guys and any suggestions/comments would be appreciated.
  13. Brilliant! I'm at the ripe old age of 34 and still love getting together with mates for a drunken gaming sesh!
  14. So I thought I would start a new thread! This post might be a bit long but please bare with it because with your own stories, this could become quite amusing! So when I was a kid, my reply to the age old question, "If you could have any super power, what would it be?", was always, "Mind control!". Basically getting people to do things they didn't want to! Now remember this part because it will prove my car has super powers later on! So as an adult and always wanting a Supra, at the end of June this year, I bought my first one! Little did I know it had a hidden agenda of its own! It all started a few days after buying it. Driving out of a garage forecourt, I noticed a middle aged man staring at the car! So interested in it, he ended up walking into the shop door! Amusing I thought, but a one off! Not so! Since then, there have been a few close calls with people almost injuring themselves! Now, today whilst driving home from the gym, I spotted a few student types walking towards me. I saw one of them point at my car, getting the attention of the other two. A quick glance in my wing mirror as I drove past revealed the one on the left walking into a street sign before hitting the deck. This was closely followed by his friends rolling around on the ground laughing. With a sly smile and a little pat on the dashboard, I drove home full of glee! After some thought, I came to the conclusion that my car has mind control powers! Think about it - neither garage man nor student wanted to walk into street furniture, my car made them do it! Thus proving my car has super powers, boom! OK, so no serious injury was caused but only a few months have passed since I bought the car! I honestly now believe my car is going to inadvertently kill someone if this continues! So please people, share your stories where your cars super powers have taken affect! Oooo, an idea! Maybe a prize could be given out to the person who's car causes the most injury to someone (without running them over, obviously)! Thanks guys.
  15. Sukhy, I know what you mean! I had it for Xbox and got pretty good too! Looking forward to it but might wait until it's released on its own! Not a fan of the new games TBH!
  16. Haha, love those days! Amazing how sitting on your arse for 10 hours without moving actually makes you feel pretty mingin!
  17. So after scrolling through this section of the forum, I came across the two threads started by Scott regarding movie/tv programme reviews and thought, why not start one about gaming (Okay okay, I know, pretty geeky). I like nothing more than the odd hour or two gaming sesh when I've completed all the jobs my wife has left me, so I'll kick things off with the first review. I have been struggling to find something to play for a while now, all the good games appear to be coming out towards the end of the year, but a friend suggested Overwatch. I will review this because it's the most recent game I have played not the best one: OVERWATCH PS4 - Purely online game with 21 characters to choose from (my favourite is Bastion). Each has their own strengths/weaknesses and their own set of powers. They cannot be customized in terms of weapons but you can collect different appearances and stuff. You play 6v6 games whereby you are either attacking to complete an objective (secure checkpoints, escort a vehicle from A to B, etc), or defending to stop the attacking team. Game is OK but hasn't really got me hooked. Good for killing a bit of time but will be sold once something better comes out! 7/10 Anyone fancy reviewing a game if you're a bit of a geek like me, feel free! Hopefully, if this takes off, maybe get a team together for the upcoming Battlefield 1 (PS4). Cheers guys!
  18. Mmmm, based on that thread you sent me Fitz, might be worth just doing it. Be good to clean it out regardless. Can't do any harm!
  19. I loved reading this thread! Like Action Jackson, the first time I have seen it! The progression is great and I can't wait to see the finished product! Well done, you have more patience than I would ever have! Oh, and congratulations on the birth of your son!
  20. Thanks Jam127. Don't want to waste money on something that'll make no difference. Do they clean the engine bay or doesn't it make any difference on that either?
  21. Hi folks, I recently stumbled across a company called Terraclean. They provide a service (which takes approx 1 hour), which they describe as: "TerraClean is a unique decarbonisation technology which makes a significant improvement to the Emissions, MPG and Driveability/Performance of your vehicle." Basically, it is a hydrogen based clean-up of your engine. http://www.terraclean.co.uk is their website. My local branch that provides this service is in Aberdeen, however, I believe there are a number of branches throughout the UK. I contacted them for a quote and they replied stating the service would cost £132, which is reasonable if what they claim is accurate. They claim that this hydrogen based service has little to no chance in causing any damage to your engine and that it improves MPG, Performance, Emissions, etc as stated above. Has anyone had any dealings with this company or had a similar treatment done on their car? If so, is it worth doing? I have read legitimate reviews from customers, who all claim that this service has made significant differences to their vehicles.

    Dash Bulbs

I did some digging on-line and the part number I think for these bulbs is #81850-14650 Lamp Assy Indicator. I phoned my local Toyota garage and they are quoting me £5 odd plus VAT! Now either I have the wrong part or that price is a bit much for 1 bulb! Surely they can be found on eBay cheaper! Problem is I don't know the bulb type/size. Any ideas? Plus, if I buy from Toyota, I'm sure the bulb colour would be the original greeny-yellow! Would prefer red!
