  1. Martin, Could you get the whole shebang to me for the 9th April? PM me to organise payment etc. You could have saved my life (or the Supe's)! Cheers, Tony
  2. If your car has covered 80k mls the front shocks will be nackered (and if they are 'black' ones, probably leaking if you examine them). So, it's fair to assume you must ditch the whole assemblies - therefore the Tein's must be favourite. I have an older version on my car, and they are superb, not too hard, but provide fantastic control. Are you using standard wheels/tyres? Tony
  3. Interestingly, Honda, who are the recognised leaders of Variable Valve Timing technology (never had a failure; ever) did not take the approach of a smooth transition on their latest VFR motorcycle, and have now received criticism for the abrupt increase in power as the timing changes, suprising many riders! Also, in top gear, the VVT engine is cycling (no pun) between using advanced valve timing or not, all at legal cruising speeds. probably not so obvious or problem with the weight and momentum of a car, but on a bike, a big issue. I havn't got a VFR by the way (Honda Blackbird + Supra (of course!)) Tony
  4. OK, so where do i get UK brakes please? from Toyota - is it as simple as that? what parts do i need other than the obvious disks and calipers?
  5. This is interesting: I need new pads all round for a stock jap setup that is in good condition, and assumed that the Greenstuff was the answer! So - what pads should I get? I will be looking at big disks later, but for now I would apreciate advice to keep it all going sweetly! T
