  1. Big thanks to @Lee P @Mike2JZ and the SRD team from the start of the journey. Cars are my happy place and currently going through some mental health dips, so it's nice to be able to forget about it all, even if just for a moment...
  2. Went to SRD today to pick up the car, what a difference! The old arms were clearly no longer up to scratch, all the old bolts had to be cut out. But the car feels much tighter now and I have so much more confidence driving it. The new Bilstein shocks and TT springs work well, firm but still very comfortable. Oil leak luckily was just cam covers and a weeping oil return line so an easy fix thankfully. Needed a new rad as the Whifbitz one had got partially blocked weirdly after a couple years and temps were rising above 95C, so new Koyo one installed and sitting at a happy ~83C. Glad they caught this now before summer! Also had some map tweaking done on the dyno, I must have watched this 100 times now : VID-20230313-WA0009_1.mp4 It's done 9,000 miles since it was originally mapped and still pulling as it did on day one - so overall a good result Was stuck in traffic most of journey home so didn't get to play with the boost settings but on wastegate it hooked up well and squats nicely. Roll on summer!
  3. I just read the comments, someone's definitely hiding something in the story with the car! But no updates on Jazz's Instagram page ..does he even still own it?!
  4. Nice car, remember seeing that for sale
  5. Thanks! Ninja ZX10-R, 2007, best shape imo
  6. Wow almost a whole year since I updated this.. April: Completed another Banzai Rally without fault, I did have a hiccup of it 'hitting a wall' at 5k rpm but cleared after a minute or two and hasn't come back on since so all in all another 4 days of hard driving without a sweat! June: K Sport rears have been fitted now and the braking is night and day difference! July to November was spent enjoying the car! I bought all new suspension arms and after a bit of a queue the car was dropped off to SRD on Thursday just gone for them to replace all the arms, fit new Bilstein shocks and TT springs all round and investigate an oil leak which is hopefully something simples! After the alignment is complete it should stop trying to kill me! Also got my bike license recently and been messing around with the other Supras, RS4, RS6, Evos, 1JZ S14 etc! But the weather was great last year so had a blast driving around But here's a few snaps!
  7. Think I still have my Jspec rear calipers in the garage. I'll check over the weekend
  8. True ^, I don't have a built head, just drop in cams. The Evo we have has cams and springs, noticeably more choppy
  9. Not noisy at all, it idles fine and there's no 'chop chop' noise ..it was mapped really well by SRD. Sounds great and glad I did it
  10. Do it, I did and the power band is great!
  11. I have a single scroll S364 0.88, forged with cams NA-T VVTi build. On full boost at 4k rpm, but does have long gearing 3.26 diff.
  12. I got FIC 1000's, been running for over 2 years no issues

    Fuel Price

Beds/Buck/Herts Diesel 172-175.9 (Shell) Petrol 160.9 Oddly when I went to London last weekend the main Shell on the A406 North Circular, who can arguably charge whatever they want - Petrol 149, Diesel 169!
  14. Mine is filthyyyyy! I looked out the window this morning and considered washing it as it was sunny ..but went outside and was zero degrees. Maybe next week
  15. Their blankets are sound, had mine on for nearly 2 years now

    Winter use?

As long as it's dry outside and above freezing I'll take mine out.. just waiting to be called in to SRD to replace all my suspension arms, shocks/springs and then will give it a coat of Lanoguard underneath
  17. I sold my silver passenger door for £250 without the doorcard or speaker ..could have sold it 5 times within a day on Facebook
